The burger was cooked very well, nice sear. The flavor of beef really comes through and isn't masked by anything. The got dog was also really good and had a good sear. The fried were good but in my opinion the onion rings are without a doubt the way to go. Their onion rings with some ketchup or dipped in their burger sauce is close to onion ring experience perfection. We also had a chocolate shake which was very good. It's not pictured because we decided to get it as we were leaving. The chocolate flavor was bold and it didn't come from a low quality syrup. Eating this outside made it that much better! Yummmy. It's window service to order and pick up. No table service. Lobster rolls with fresh lemon tasty. The onion rings are a must have, fine sliced crispy piled high!! Fries also good but those onion rind dipped in horseradish mayo sauce was too good. Friend liked her haddock fish sando too. The food is fine. The buns for the lobster roll and the fried clams were subpar. Service is fast and they just call your name over the intercom to have you come up and get your food. I wouldn't tip for this type of service so be mindful that they ask for tip. There isn't any official inside seating so bring a jacket because even if you ask them to turn on the heat lamps above you, they won't do it . There's plenty of parking to help yourself water and ice machine and bathrooms on the premise . read more

There's a decent amount of outdoor seating and the service is pretty fast. The parking lot is a bit too small and the patrons don't seem to care about well... anyone but themselves. Fish tacos were great! Seasoned well, lightly breaded, and the cabbage slaw was very good (Plus the tortillas actually stayed together while you ate it). My family was in search of a quick dinner spot and came across The Knack, which had excellent reviews. It did not disappoint! The restaurant has a charming clam shack style where you place your order at the counter and then pick it up to enjoy at one of the outdoor seating areas adjacent to the shack. There is a good number of tables and chairs, along with all the necessary sauces and napkins conveniently located nearby. I pre-ordered our meals in case there was a long line, but when we arrived around 5 PM on Wednesday, there were only a couple of people waiting for their food. Been here quite a few times for burgers and shakes and you really can't go wrong! Our visit this year included trying their lobster roll which a local told us was the best affordable lobster roll on the Cape. At $23, it was a great price! Definitely not blown away but love that it's tossed in a "lemon aioli" which added a nice touch. Their burgers are still the winner here! We got the Pickle & Pepper which was phenomenal! Perfect smash burger with great sauce. Definitely need to try their housemade lemonade too!! And they're dog friendly since all their seating is outdoors! read more

Fabulous Little Place! The food here is excellent and the place is set up so efficiently. You order at the window, then find a seat in the adorable outdoor dining area, and they announce your name on a speaker/text you when it's time to pick up the order. The sitting are is very clean, and well equipped with all the extras like ketchup and ice (I loved that they had an ice machine - it's the small things LOL). It was a very smooth process. The food was top notch, from the ample lobster roll to the amazing chicken tenders. It is very clear that they pay attention to detail and take pride in their food here. Good news: the fried clams were excellent. Most are too battered, chopped up wrong and sometimes gritty. Here you get each delicate clam whole with belly & chewy part, lightly fried, so you can taste the whole thing. Practically perfect, although the serving was small. Also good: peanut butter shake, ooh-la-la! Slightly less good: the lobster roll was small, with those weird-tasting claw fillers still attached. I prefer a meatier roll. They're well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. Service & ambiance: it's a shack off a busy road, but it has pretty landscaping and some patio tables. I recommend to go. read more

Came on Memorial Day and the place was hopping. It's got a cool Cape Cod seafood stand vibe (it's bigger than a food stand, but not sure what to call it). I'm not sure if I've had a clam roll before. Onion rings and french fries were good. The onion rings had a good onion to batter ratio with crisp and well seasoned crust. Onions were sliced so that there was enough to bite into. At the same time they were sliced thin enough to balance the amount of batter. Chicken tenders were appropriately seasoned, moist, and not stringy. Hotdogs are split griddled and all-beef. I don't think I'll ever understand this. Hotdogs should be beef and pork with a snappy natural casing. They have a good fry game. The fish tacos come with flour tortillas, which are gummy by nature. A corn tortilla is needed. Outdoor seating was cute. Staff were friendly. Text message system to let you know your food is ready works. Wish they had a sink outside of the bathrooms to wash your hands. SO good! I came across the knack when I was starving for a snack after a long car ride to the Cape! And found myself wanting to go back again and again! Don't be daunted by the long lines... it moves pretty quickly. Their fried fish is a winner! The fried fish sandwich was so flaky and buttery--literal melt in your mouth. The lobster roll was similarly delicious. The fried chicken sandwich and cheese burger were good as well, but I think their seafood options really standout above the crowd. Would recommend getting a side of fries to round out your meal! Plus a shake (the oreo one was perfection) if you've got a sweet tooth! No indoor seating, but there was a decent amount of outdoor seating. Bathrooms were clean. There is a small parking lot out front, with more public parking within walking distance. Yum! We ordered a late lunch after a beach day so everyone was very hungry. Luckily the food came out surprisingly quickly for how much we ordered. We also appreciated that both the person who took the order, and the person who gave us our food checked to make sure everything they wrote down/were giving us was everything we ordered. Heard about this place from family so we had to stop by. We only got ice cream: HUGE ice cream sandwich (lots of vanilla ice cream packed between 2 chocolate chip cookies!) and a vanilla milkshake. This is my go to spot for fresh fish and lobster rolls. Recently, we found out they make their own ice cream sandwiches. We stopped in and had a brownie cookie with housemade vanilla ice cream.
