We had an amazing experience both times that we visited the Corner Store in Orleans. They use only the freshest ingredients and having a make your own option is the best! There are not many healthy choices for food Togo in Orleans.. the food here is great but every time I go in they get stingier about giving more food.. I just got a bowl that I was 18 dollars and it was a quarter full of food, just greens, veggies and buffalo chicken.. So happy to have found this little gem of a lunch spot. Today is a rainy day for us while visiting the cape and I needed a break from all the fried and fattening seafood. The corner store is this hip lunch spot for take out. They specialize in different burritos but I decided to get a bowl instead. I added steak, rice, spinach, pico de Gallo, roasted corn, red onions, cucumbers and topped it off with cheese. I got a side of chipotle aioli dressing on the side that gave my bowl a bit of a kick which I love. What is also pretty cool, they bake these enormous cookies. I got a oatmeal raisin and it was so soft. Tasted like it was baked in the morning. Definitely a spot to check out if you want a break from all the delicious fish in the area. read more

Probably the most expensive burritos I've ever ordered, that said, they were pretty tasty. There are their own non traditional creations like BBQ pork. The build your own has the typical rice/beans/meat options plus all the usual fixings that ought to be in a burrito. The salad options were good too, including a spinach quinoa salad. Fresh ingredients, picked onions, eggplant, mounds of juicy steak, guacamole, three types of beans, balsamic sauce, corn, and many other items go into making my burrito from here. Wrap all that up in a freshly steamed white wrap with cheese and you have yourself a 1,300+ calorie piece of heavens. This place is a town staple. Go and you'll see why. The food was great and on display so you could pick. The hash was the can stuff (perfect for me, I dont like peppers or onions). The veggie wrap I was told the veg could have been more flavorful/seasoned (broc and mushrooms). I am not a big egg person but they were amazing. I had hash, egg and cheese and felt bad I couldn't finish it because it was so good. They marked my wrap Hers so we knew. Ordered over $100 worth of food and coffee, left a 20% tip, and when I went to pick up the food I kindly asked if there was a trash can where I could throw some garbage (a half empty milk container that the corner store gave me, no personal trash) because there was no garbage can outside. This was an unexpected find! Reminds me of Chipotle but a local version. They had everything you could ask for to put in your burrito. My daughter had chicken with rice, beans, jalapeños and chipotle sauce. She really enjoyed it. I had a Caesar salad with chicken and bacon. It came in a side salad size container for over $10, so that was disappointing but it tasted good and the dressing was delicious. They do have a dining room and lots of drink choices. The corner store is my favorite burrito place! I personally like the Orleans location better than the Chatham location. Chatham is always so busy & the parking is absolutely atrocious! Orleans is definitely slower... In fact there was no one in line at 11:45 today & The parking is great. Slow restaurant definitely equals larger portions for the same price! I'm not a burrito expert or else this would be a more detailed review but basically I went with the veggie option and was able to get it vegan with lots of healthy options on top including an Asian slaw. The burrito lovers foodies I was with very much enjoyed it. And of course I always appreciate the relatively sustainable packaging they use(but then I didn't see that they were recycling. Had interesting packaged drinks there that I've not seen elsewhere like a raspberry coke & local canned cold brew-the guys in our group each had one! Then as I was leaving I noticed they even had lots of iced tea and coffee fresh brewed there too. Just stopped by again yesterday (08/28) and the place is still really awesome! My buddy and I had no idea that the hours had been updated to 2PM, we made it there around 1:40 and right up until close the restaurant seems super busy and popular. I have to hand it to the staff, having a peanut and tree nut allergy is a pain but they took care of my needs very well. New gloves were changed out, I was told what is safe and what isn't (including if ingredients are prepared in the same mixing areas). The food itself is excellent, I got a chicken burrito bowl with rice, black beans, spinach, lettuce and sour cream. The food tasted fresh and overall the experience was wonderful. Came to the cape on our trip for 2020 and things are different in some places when you get food. The corner store, you had to place your order online or over the phone. The wife and I both got the BBQ Pulled Pork burrito and it was excellent. I thought it was a little on the small side but by the time I was done eating we were stuffed. Would have liked to see the inside and got some sides like chips etc. but since we weren't sure what else they had we just got the burritos but they were excellent and we are thinking of going back before we leave. read more

As a local I would eat here a lot more if it wasn't so expensive. Depending on what you put on your burrito you could be spending close to $10, and that's just the burrito. Forget it if you want drinks and a side. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious. But I work just up the street and only eat here once in a while. Especially if you're coming here with your family, be prepared to spend. Portion sizes are average. They charge extra for sour cream. We had been staying Orleans for the last 6 years so we were thrilled to learn they opened a location there which we visit frequently. Choice of white or wheat options, cheese options and salsa and sauces galore. Coffee selection and drinks as well as pastry options were always available. We in the last few years have been dining for lunch. Same as breakfast incorporates lots of meats, veggies, beans and. Sauces to make your own burritos however they had some custom ones available this year. I had the arugula steak wrap which was so full of flavor I had twice this year. I decided to go for something completely different than the standard grilled chicken, which I am sure is the most popular option because that container was the largest. I got sloppy joe, which was as the description said - sweet. I tried a bunch of different vegetables Including spinach, arugula, and roasted eggplant. Individually these things tasted great, but didn't work too well together (my fault). I'm not exactly sure what would have gone better. It would have been helpful to have suggestions. This place is awesome. It's like chipotle but slightly different taste. Came and got a burrito one day before an Orleans Firebird game and it was delicious. I ate every single bite. They also have a wide variety of chips and homemade Whoopi's pies. Prices were fair and for the quality and quantity of food I'd say it was well worth it. I got the pulled pork and just about everything inside my burrito so it was very filling. I tried the carrot cake Whoopi and it was good but a little to much cream cheese filling for my liking but still very moist and delicious.
