    oysters & Pear and Burrata

last year my review said that every bite was savored. A year later the food is still that good. We had oysters, pear & burrata appetizer, swordfish and duck confit and all were spectacular

Cod. Best I have sorry I already took a bite.

If you are in N Truro look no further. From the peach burrata salad, knot bread the entrees and desert. This was one of the best meals I had all summer. Going back tomorrow night

This place is flat out awesome. the food was incredible. The stand out dish was the scallop mushroom chowder. Our main dishes were equally delicious. The vibe is laid back Truro rustic - exposed beams, local art, nicely spaced tables. The service was incredibly relaxed and efficient. Some of the other improvements from the old Terra Luna are air conditioning. This turns the "rustic" from Truro rustic from a big R to a little r. They also take reservations - which I highly recommend doing. They just opened up so availability was abundant, but I know that will not last long.

    Steak fajitas

Went to Mexican night tonight. Food was fantastic as always. The only thing I would say is for a little bowl of chips and guacamole. I think their prices a little too high for what you get at $16 dollars.

Seared tuna special. Attractive and delicious!

It's always on our list of recommended dine-in spots when friends/family visit Provincetown. We got TAKEOUT for the first time tonight and were impressed enough to write a review. We're in town for Holly Folly (Christmas/holiday weekend) and have a 9mo old. We knew we'd be doing takeout for dinner. One of our other favorite spots in town wouldn't do a takeout order (too busy). We were hesitant to get something from Canteen because they had been slammed all day with a crowd from their outdoor holiday market (also highly recommended), but took a chance. Two orders of fish and chips. Staff (probably exhausted from the busy day) were so kind and friendly. The order came out fast. Really good quality. Big portions (see photo) incl French fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce. We're glad our initial idea didn't work out and we had a great takeout dinner from Canteen! Thanks so much!

I got a celery soda to go with my cold lobster roll ($30)! I'd definitely try the frozé next time. We also ordered a side of the Brussels sprouts ($10) which were doused in a tangy chili sauce... they were my favorite. Lobster roll was missing something... I found the lobster salad more bland than I was expecting. If I decide to get lobster again, I'll probably try Box Lunch or another spot, but I'd return here for the fish and chips. Service was friendly. You're expected to bus your table.

Just away from the hustle and bustle of rt 6 rests this unassuming restaurant tucked into the pines. I believe their space was a smithy once upon a time. The setting is rustic, but the service is fantastic and what you'd expect in fine dining. Waitstaff is knowledgeable about the offerings and attentive without being overbearing. The food is amazing. When you're sick of fried clams and French fries you should come here and reset. I've had several different dishes here, but I always come back for the tuna bolognese. It may sound crazy, but it's absolutely delicious. The fresh pappardelle is always perfectly toothsome, and the lemon and ricotta sends it over the top. Their desserts are always 10/10 too. The panna cotta we had tonight was so fresh and bright, the perfect way to end a meal. Definitely a great spot for a special occasion or just a treat!
