Tried Millan's last nite for the first time, so glad we did! Dot our lovely bartender made us both Lemon lavender martini's absolutely delish! I had the lamb chops cooked medium rare to perfection, my friend had the scallops also cooked to perfection. A gem not to miss, very welcoming. We definitely be back. read more

We had a great meal and experience at Millans ...the food and service was terrific. My wife enjoyed her arugula salad and lamb chops and I had a delicious rib eye steak...we finished up with a peach and blueberry crumble and coffees. Many fond memories of the former restaurant in this space and excited to try the Mexican night menu. A Mexican restaurant on the outer cape! But.. Chicken mole and chicken enchiladas were passable at best--and I understood why the woman at the adjacent table said we might want the bottle of tabasco sauce she handed us. The Shrimp and Steak Fajitas were mostly inedible. Expecting a sizzling platter, instead, a few lukewarm morsels of onion and peppers with three shrimp and pieces of steak so tough it could barely be cut with a knife. The place was packed and our server was impossible to flag down. When the table was cleared, they noticed the uneaten plate and comped a margarita ($13), not the dish ($38!). (total bill=$160 for 3) Not a way to encourage a return visit. read more

Loved the atmoshere and vibe. The bartender was not the greatest and the Curry was NOT good at all. It did not taste like curry or smell like curry. It just had a little spice. NOT curry. Beet salad and caesar were delish and the wild boar pasta was very very good. We will be back but the curry should either be taken off the menu or cooked with a different recipe. read more

This place is flat out awesome. the food was incredible. The stand out dish was the scallop mushroom chowder. Our main dishes were equally delicious. The vibe is laid back Truro rustic - exposed beams, local art, nicely spaced tables. The service was incredibly relaxed and efficient. Some of the other improvements from the old Terra Luna are air conditioning. This turns the "rustic" from Truro rustic from a big R to a little r. They also take reservations - which I highly recommend doing. They just opened up so availability was abundant, but I know that will not last long. read more

An awesome experience as always! The three of us showed up without reservations on a busy evening and our hostess was kindly able to seat us (thank you). Cocktails were creative and fun. We were nervous because it's a new restaurant and had a few bad reviews, but also had many good reviews and we can see why - it was excellent. It's a very rustic room which was lovely, and despite a review saying it was not comfortable, we thought it was. We had the garlic knots, wild boar ragu and beef medallions - all were excellent. Both main courses were just under $40 but for the Cape and the quality we thought it was fair. You'll pay that for a junky fried fish platter that's mostly French fries at other places. We were too full for dessert but it certainly looked good. Definitely will return! read more

We really like this restaurant and have been here four times this summer. Earlier this week our server forgot about many parts of the meal -- a Diet Coke for one person, a salad for another, a beef main course came out at least twenty minutes after everyone else's meal, and it came with mushrooms and onions though it was requested without. We could tell while ordering that the server wasn't really paying attention and he was strangely unapologetic and acknowledging. I'm sure it was busy but our party of 8 left disappointed by the service. read more

Millan's surprised me it was really wonderful. I was prepared to be disappointed because I was sad that the restaurant previously in this location which was truly one of our favorite local spots (Terra Luna) and I figured that nothing could adequately replace it . Millans is not trying to replace Terra Luna , it is different and I am happy to report I was super impressed by my first meal there and I can not wait to go back in fact I already have a reservation booked for next weekend . We had the Chowder made with wild mushrooms and scallops, the Tuna Tartare in wonton cups, the Cod and lastly the Shrimp with Green Curry . Every single dish was delicious and worth the price . The place is mostly family run with the mom and dad in the kitchen and their daughter and son serving tables . I am sorry to see Terra Luna gone but happy that we have Millan's in the neighborhood now. read more

Wait service was spotty. Hostess unfriendly. Food uneven. Chowder good. Poke and Salad ok. Garlic Knots were doughy but tasty. Side of stir fried vegetables was horrible. Greasy and mostly onions and peppers rather than asparagus which was featured on the menu but completely absent. When I pointed this out, waitress shrugged and said she guessed there wasn't any! No offer to make it right. Old Fashioned was mostly simple-syrup. Very little whiskey. For this we were charged almost 100. Very disappointed. I doubt we will be back. Too bad. The old Terre Luna was always a delight. read more

Service was fantastic and dining room has a relaxing vibe and clean. Glazed peach appetizer was a disappointment - served refrigerator cold. Flavors and textures were lost. Menu should say chilled. Shrimp cocktail was amazing! Bravo for amazing creativity! First impression of my dinner plate ( and my husband's cod ) was the uncut zucchini with stem still attached. Crunchy and unseasoned, some butter perhaps. At the very least slice it lengthwise and sprinkle something on it. It looked like it had been tossed on plate at the last minute. Beef medallions are not medallions instead are chunks of meat definitely not tenderloin, chewy. Risotto was completely overpowered by the balsamic glaze everything was swimming in. Sadly meal was disappointing for me. My husband enjoyed his crusted cod. read more

The food is good. The restaurant is in the old building from Terra Luna. Building needs help. The bar is very uncomfortable to sit at. Also, most of the seats at the bar are looking into very old kitchen. The dinning room needs atmosphere badly. For the prices they are charging the dinning room needs help !!!!! Are they just getting friends to write reviews? I would say run don't walk (away). Good god this place is terrible. I grew up going to Terra Luna and I thought I shouldn't even traumatize myself by trying this new spot. Well I was right and everything was wrong about the place. Waited to meet friends had a drink at the bar, tended by someone who had to keep running to some higher up to find out how to make stuff (for me and those seated next to me). Why did I not text my friends then to say abort I do not know. Morbid curiosity maybe? Flavorless, ill presented over/under cooked food, nothing blended or made any real sense and you cannot believe what they are asking you to pay here. R i d i c u l o u s. On top of all that the great charm (beside the fine food) of this place in the past was the ambiance, which was rustic and woody and quirky and casual and just plain cool. I kept trying to figure out how they managed to make a place so naturally charming into something so sterile and unsophisticated. I don't know who these people are that inherited this incredible space but they definitely do not deserve to be in it. read more
