Roger was a fabulous instructor. Incredibly generous with his knowledge, expertise and time. I had never held a gun before and by the end of our time together I felt confident handling firearms. I didn't think it would come so easily in so little time but Roger's approach and style is the perfect progression of safety, fundamentals, and practice. The basic principles that Roger instills will last a lifetime. We spent several hours in the classroom; learning safety culture before moving onto laser practice guns with real life-sized scenarios. He has the best, cutting edge software to get you ready. The second part of the fundamentals class was taught at the range with live fire. Roger has the utmost patience for even the most rudimentary beginner. We loved our time with Roger and will book him for additional lessons in the future.

The facility was clean, organized, and they even provided food and drinks, which made the class much more comfortable. One of the biggest reasons I chose Elite CCW is that they are truly ADA accessible. As a wheelchair user, finding a training facility that is accessible and accommodating can be difficult. The staff went above and beyond to assist me throughout the entire process and made sure I felt welcome and supported. Having both the classroom training and shooting range at the same location made everything convenient and stress-free. Mike, Bailey, and Edwin were excellent instructors. They were knowledgeable, professional, patient, and took the time to answer questions and share valuable information. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from all of them. What impressed me most was how helpful and accommodating everyone was. In my experience, Elite CCW is probably the best option for wheelchair users or anyone in particular male or female looking to complete their CCW training or any firearm training I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a professional, welcoming, and accessible CCW and Firearm training experience.

As someone who's renewed before, I appreciated how streamlined and professional the process was. The instructors, led by folks with real-world experience (including retired law enforcement), delivered clear, up-to-date information on California laws, safety protocols, and best practices for concealed carry. The classroom portion was engaging and practical--not just rote memorization--but focused on real scenarios that renewed carriers like me need to stay sharp on. The range qualification was a highlight: their on-site private range made everything convenient, and the coaches provided respectful, personalized feedback that helped refine my technique without any ego. I walked away feeling more confident and competent. What sets Elite CCW apart is the family-oriented vibe and top-notch customer service. They even handle multi-state additions if you're interested, and the whole team is supportive and knowledgeable. If you're renewing your CCW in Orange County (or nearby), this is the place to go--efficient, high-quality training that exceeds the minimum requirements. Definitely returning for future renewals and any additional courses. 10/10!

My husband ordered the Tuna Tartare as an appetizer and asked for an old fashion. I had the espresso martini. Shane was our bartender for the night and he did an amazing job making the drinks! He makes the night so much fun and had us laughing the entire time. For our entrees we got the shrimp and sausage penne pasta and the pepperoni pizza with the hot honey glaze in top. Food was 10/10. The pasta comes with its own little mini loaf of bread and butter that I could not stop eating, the pasta has a kick so if you don't eat spicy I wouldn't recommend. My pizza was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect portions because we ended up with a lot of left overs. I think that shave really was the cherry on top to our night and we'll be definitely coming back for future date nights.

Updating my Review .. as per the Business owners reply…read more. The business owner responded with flat out lies about the nature of the issue. I have never threatened bad reviews.. In fact I almost never give a bad review.. this is the very first review I have ever done on Yelp. The business has NOT extended my credits over and over.. The issue of credit extension was raised only when my original contract ended, and they told me that $49/mo alumni would preserve my unused credits. . The issue has arisen presently to this review on yelp because when I went to use the credits I and to my shock I find they are not there. I asked them to restore them and they thus have refused.. only agreeing to give me 60 days to use six months back alumni credits.. The alumni program gives a credit every month.. This is not restoring my credits from the prior program that I was promised the alumni would preserve. Nor is 60 days a reasonable time to use the few credits they are granting.. given the difficulties with scheduling oversold classes. I understand the business owner saying a credits can't be extended indefinitely IF there wasn't some form of consideration, which is what I was led to believe the alumni subscription was providing at $49/mo. Since I started that alumni program they have collected over an additional $1000 without extending the credits as promised. Why this is so hard for them to simply extend the credits I paid for is beyond me.. Perhaps they have scammed so many people that if they begin to accommodate, the dam will break. The scheduling is a REAL problem.. I presume it's because they have OVERSOLD the program and that makes getting into classes very difficult and perhaps that may have been by design.. knowing they would expire out those credits and just keep the customers money without providing service. All I want from this business is to honor what they promised.. It's really not that big of accommodation being requested.. go figure.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. It sounded like they made special accommodations for myself and some other shooters, by opening up the "tactical" range, since there were no members shooting at that time. That was awesome, because it got me on the range sooner. I also brought with me a new firearm - Canik Mete MC9LS with a new optic. I forgot my regular range bag with my tools; however, the range staff allowed me to use one of their tools to adjust my new optic. I don't know how the targets move on the regular range, but on the tactical range, you can push buttons to automatically set the targets at a specified distance, move the targets manually back and forth, and automatically have the target return. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable. $20 per lane and $0.50 targets - WAAAAAY better than prices in the Bay Area. If I were a resident of the area, I'd definitely become a member. (I overheard one of the staff members informing another customer of the benefits and price.). Top Notch outfit in my opinion.

I attended their intro to handguns class, covering the basics of safety and proper form, and getting in some introductory shooting experience. John, our instructor, was very engaging and great at commanding attention when needed and building up the class's confidence. Afterward, I took them up on their 'newbie' offer of free range time and rental after class. Kevin signed me up for a lane, let me rent a couple of handgun models I researched previously, and critiqued my targets, giving some general feedback and advice. He also pointed me toward a couple other models that are known to be more friendly to left-handed shooters that I can test out in the future. Great place; a little on the older and smaller sides, but staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. I get the feeling that as I 'shop around' for my go-to range there's a strong chance I will gravitate back here, since these guys are passionate about what they do, and seem to want to inspire that passion in others. Definitely will make it a point to stop by again.
