The interior decor is chic, modern, clean, and illuminated beautifully; there are tiny black LED lamps on the tables which highlight the food without blinding the guests. Our server, Michelle, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive; she kept the water-glasses filled and the courses served. The restaurant features an open-air kitchen with a wrap-around bar; I was introduced to the chef and was able to speak with him in my (limited) Italian. It was truly wonderful to hear and feel his enthusiasm for excellent, northern Italian cooking! The menu is very small...and that is a good thing. By focussing on only a few dishes, the chef and his team are able to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. The highlight of our dinner was the halibut collar which, if you've never enjoyed, I highly recommend. OH. MY. GOD. Although I have enjoyed many fish courses in my life, this is, was, and remains one of those special meals which I shall remember for a very long time. It was truly exceptional: rhythmic with flavour and firm with texture, sauced gently but appropriately and (absolutely) served piping hot on the plate. I must confess I do not recall the other dishes but they were all very good. I believe there was a squid hors-d'oeuvre which I enjoyed, and a very special 'Black Leather' cocktail (?). I cannot remember a better meal than this, not in a very long time. I absolutely and unequivocally recommend Radici for anyone wishing for modern, beautifully cooked, and served northern Italian cuisine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The restaurant was pretty busy, but they did have adequate staff available so we were offered drinks right away. The bread that was brought out was very small pillow like rectangular pieces with some olive oil and balsamic to dip in. It was cold and not very impressive. We shared a burrata and it came with four slices of tomatoes and two balls of burrata drizzled with balsamic over some romaine lettuce. It was a nice start to the meal. I had the chicken marsala and my aunt had the chicken parmesan. The portion size was adequate and her pasta and veal had a lot of red sauce on it. The marsala sauce was a bit thin, and I would've liked more on my pasta. We each had a glass of wine which was served quickly and complemented the meal nicely. The server was attentive and the food was hot. Overall, it was a good, not great experience.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and obviously very overworked. Only 3 people were working on this fairly busy Friday night. The owner/cook and 2 waiters (who also seat, pack to go, bus, expedite, etc.). I did notice an odd smell (like urine) but no one else seemed bothered. The burrata appetizer was good and presented well. Next up the entrees. We had veal Marsala which was average and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata tasted baked not fried (strange) but the sauce was good and gf pasta was great! Lastly, the dessert... tiramisu. The waiter said it was homemade and highly recommended. It was very cold from the refrigerator but otherwise was fine. I had high hopes coming in but I'd give an average overall rating.

For pasta, we had the tagliatelle with veal ragù, which was bursting with deep, rich flavor, and the strozzapreti, which was incredibly light yet still full of flavor in every bite. We ended the night with dessert, and both were exceptional, the blackberry sorbet was refreshing and vibrant, and the chocolate budino was rich, silky, and amazing. We also sat on the back patio with our dog, which we really appreciated since they are dog-friendly. The only suggestion would be to improve the walkway access to the back patio for guests with dogs; it wasn't the most comfortable route, as the adjacent area was quite messy. Our waiter, James was great and loved chatting with him. Overall, a truly memorable meal with beautiful flavors and we would absolutely return.

My hubby and I shared everything and I don't even know what I liked most. The focaccia was a must order and I enjoyed the 3 dips that accompanied it especially the ricotta. The burrata salad was the most fresh and flavorful salad- each ingredient worked so well together- I could have eaten this every day. The pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was cooked al dente to perfection with a light flavorful sauce. Overall it was a truly delicious meal in a bright clean setting and I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients. The staff were kind and they were able to seat us without a reservation.

The salad with pine nuts was tasty. The restaurant could accommodate our diet willingly. Our pizza was last to be served... about 5-6 minutes after all the other food was served. That was okay, but certainly not ideal. The other pizzas that were ordered looked covered with cheese and ingredients. While ours did taste good, the flavors in the sauce were quite nice, the toppings were very skimpy. I could hardly see any onions or basil and sparse mushrooms. Speaking from experiences of pizza at other places with our vegan request, typically the pizza is more loaded with the vegetables since we are not having any cheese (I.e. cost savings to the restaurant) to compensate and make the pizza look more substantial. It is a policy I would strongly recommend for us vegan folks. We would then return with company who would order the items off the menu... now we have no incentive to return because the pizza was ok but not worth the price. This is my humble opinion based on our travels outside of beaufort South Carolina. Here is a plus... we asked for a gimlet cocktail... not on the menu, but the bartender knew what it was and did a nice job making it!!
