From the moment we walked in, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hostess graciously worked us in, even though they were not expecting us. When I asked if we could move outside because we had an infant with us and didn't want to disturb other diners, the manager couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. He moved our table without hesitation and made us feel like it was a pleasure--not an inconvenience. Our server, Andreas, was absolutely exceptional. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care elevated an already wonderful meal. By the time we left, we felt like family. The food was incredible from start to finish, but the baked ricotta appetizer deserves a special mention--I would come back just for that! Thank you to Andreas and the entire team at Joelle for your outstanding hospitality! Experiences like this are rare, and you have earned customers for life.

Was apparently made with great care, as was the arrabbiata pizza, which was spiced aggressively, as the name suggests. The interior decor is chic, modern, clean, and illuminated beautifully; there are tiny black LED lamps on the tables which highlight the food without blinding the guests. Our server, Michelle, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive; she kept the water-glasses filled and the courses served. The restaurant features an open-air kitchen with a wrap-around bar; I was introduced to the chef and was able to speak with him in my (limited) Italian. It was truly wonderful to hear and feel his enthusiasm for excellent, northern Italian cooking! The menu is very small...and that is a good thing. By focussing on only a few dishes, the chef and his team are able to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. The highlight of our dinner was the halibut collar which, if you've never enjoyed, I highly recommend. OH. MY. GOD. Although I have enjoyed many fish courses in my life, this is, was, and remains one of those special meals which I shall remember for a very long time. It was truly exceptional: rhythmic with flavour and firm with texture, sauced gently but appropriately and (absolutely) served piping hot on the plate. I must confess I do not recall the other dishes but they were all very good. I believe there was a squid hors-d'oeuvre which I enjoyed, and a very special 'Black Leather' cocktail (?). I cannot remember a better meal than this, not in a very long time. I absolutely and unequivocally recommend Radici for anyone wishing for modern, beautifully cooked, and served northern Italian cuisine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took my family here for Christmas Eve dinner with the intention of doing the tasting menu. We reserved seats at the bar that runs the length of the restaurant, and were seated promptly. Service was very friendly, and we had a great view of the open concept kitchen. Throughout the meal the chef and waitstaff would chat with us and explain what all was on our plates. We started with cocktails. I ordered The Radici, which had mezcal and beet juice, certainly not a common combination in my experience. They have an aperol spritz equivalent that my mother and girlfriend raved over as quite refreshing. The meal started with an oyster as an amuse bouche, a great local touch given the popularity of oysters in the area. Stuck with seafood for the first course, with halibut flan being something I'm still a bit confused by as a concept, though that did not stop me from enjoying it. The second course continued to be innovative relative to what is usually found in the area, with ravioli stuffed with broth and filling on the outside. Third course was lamb, and was well done. Finally dessert was a roasted panettone for Christmas Eve that was very tasty with chocolate cream. One small improvement would be the option to pair the tasting menu with wine selections, but we were able to get along fairly well with some help from the waiter ordering a couple of bottles of wine. Overall a welcome addition to the area that I could easily see myself returning to when in town.

Service was good-our waitress was very busy but was attentive to us. The food was really good! The Half Portion of Lobster was amazing and fresh. My husband's chicken Marsala was good flavor although he said it could have been a little warmer (temperature wise). My daughter had a Chicken Caesar Salad and she likes it a lot. We had the S'mores for dessert which was super fun! Never seen a dessert presentation like that. We also had Cheese take which was amazing. We sis not have a Reservation for a Saturday night but we got right in at a high top. Will definitely be back! Great time!!

I'm not sure why but everything was spot on otherwise! You've got to give it a try.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and obviously very overworked. Only 3 people were working on this fairly busy Friday night. The owner/cook and 2 waiters (who also seat, pack to go, bus, expedite, etc.). I did notice an odd smell (like urine) but no one else seemed bothered. The burrata appetizer was good and presented well. Next up the entrees. We had veal Marsala which was average and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata tasted baked not fried (strange) but the sauce was good and gf pasta was great! Lastly, the dessert... tiramisu. The waiter said it was homemade and highly recommended. It was very cold from the refrigerator but otherwise was fine. I had high hopes coming in but I'd give an average overall rating.

The restaurant was pretty busy, but they did have adequate staff available so we were offered drinks right away. The bread that was brought out was very small pillow like rectangular pieces with some olive oil and balsamic to dip in. It was cold and not very impressive. We shared a burrata and it came with four slices of tomatoes and two balls of burrata drizzled with balsamic over some romaine lettuce. It was a nice start to the meal. I had the chicken marsala and my aunt had the chicken parmesan. The portion size was adequate and her pasta and veal had a lot of red sauce on it. The marsala sauce was a bit thin, and I would've liked more on my pasta. We each had a glass of wine which was served quickly and complemented the meal nicely. The server was attentive and the food was hot. Overall, it was a good, not great experience.

The salad with pine nuts was tasty. The restaurant could accommodate our diet willingly. Our pizza was last to be served... about 5-6 minutes after all the other food was served. That was okay, but certainly not ideal. The other pizzas that were ordered looked covered with cheese and ingredients. While ours did taste good, the flavors in the sauce were quite nice, the toppings were very skimpy. I could hardly see any onions or basil and sparse mushrooms. Speaking from experiences of pizza at other places with our vegan request, typically the pizza is more loaded with the vegetables since we are not having any cheese (I.e. cost savings to the restaurant) to compensate and make the pizza look more substantial. It is a policy I would strongly recommend for us vegan folks. We would then return with company who would order the items off the menu... now we have no incentive to return because the pizza was ok but not worth the price. This is my humble opinion based on our travels outside of beaufort South Carolina. Here is a plus... we asked for a gimlet cocktail... not on the menu, but the bartender knew what it was and did a nice job making it!!
