This was our second time here but first at the Bluffton location. Very nice at Atmosphere.Very clean and , high energy-tvs going (we sat by bar). Lots of people there. Service was good-our waitress was very busy but was attentive to us. The food was really good! The Half Portion of Lobster was amazing and fresh. My husband's chicken Marsala was good flavor although he said it could have been a little warmer (temperature wise). My daughter had a Chicken Caesar Salad and she likes it a lot. We had the S'mores for dessert which was super fun! Never seen a dessert presentation like that. We also had Cheese take which was amazing. This is a really cool place that has a Frank Sinatra vibe. It's gorgeous inside with great personal seating that gives you your own space to be able to talk with Friends. I was super excited about the specials between 330 and five. I got a 4 ounce filet mignon Oscar style with crab on top, fresh mashed potatoes, and delicious asparagus with hollandaise. For $25 I got the filet mignon dinner, soup or salad of choice and a soda. Great deal! The only reason I gave it four stars was because it had a very strong smell of bad seafood. My husband ordered the special drink called Elijah Craig Mulligan and LOVED it. We shared the calamari as our appetizer and it's good. Heavily breaded and came with a small sauce. We could have used a second sauce. My hubby loved his crab cakes and I had the gf pizza margarita. The basil looked like micro greens and were odd. This is the first time I visited for lunch. They have quite an extensive menu which include weekly specials and daily specials. I ordered the dough pizzette Primavera which was a personal pizza covered with asparagus, peppers, onions and mushrooms. It was very good. For an extra $5.00, I added the caesar salad as well. At 11:30, the group of 6 of us had the place pretty much to ourselves. Our waitress was very attentive and easily provided separate checks. She takes your card and processes right at the table. Went to Frankie Bones in Bluffton to celebrate our anniversary on 26 June 2026. I was looking forward to their prime rib. I don't know if they have a new chef or what but my dinner was subpar! The prime rib is supposed to be served with some au jus but not a drop on the plate! When we arrived (without a reservation) at 17:05 and announced to the hostess that we were requesting a table for two, she asked us to stand a side. Then a party of three came in (also without a reservation) and they were seated before us! When we inquired as too our table for two we were told that they were waiting for a "two top" to be cleaned. Then we were seated at a both in the hall way behind the hostess stand at a table for four (as the hostess cleared away the other two service settings. Brittany our server started out strong. She was on top of her game, then unfortunately seemed to disappear. I guess this could have been because she had other tables that were out of our site? As we had to wait for our check for several minutes, etc. As we were seated in a booth in a hall way behind the Hostess stand the ambiance was nice and quiet. I grew up in a predominately Italian neighborhood in Queens in NYC I know good Italian food. I can honestly state: That the veal parmesan was the worst that I have ever had. We've been serg customers for many years, have bought the community card every year. Ordered a slab of ribs and they were literally unable to eat, hard and dry. What was more disturbing was the attitude of the manager on duty. I did not ask for him but he came over and acted like I was exaggerating. Asked if wanted anything else, I did not cause I was in the mood for ribs. I know there is a chance for a poor meal but at these prices the manager should be committed to a better customer experience. read more

We have been to Frankie bones twice now and had positive experiences both times. The parking lot is ample and there is indoor and outdoor seating but we have eaten inside both times. We did make reservations both times, but we probably could have walked in and been seated. I have tried the prosciutto pizza and loved it, along with a special that they had one evening, gnocchi, and pesto, shrimp. Look at my pic! It was to die for. The ambience of the restaurant was casual with softer lighting. I wouldn't call the restaurant intimate, but it definitely wasn't boisterous. It was the perfect vibe. This restaurant was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint! My wife is Italian and she usually doesn't care for restaurant pasta sauce... so we asked for a small taste before we ordered. We were immediately brought two small ramekins of sauce and a basket of warm crusty bread so that we could try it. It was wonderful! We each ordered a pasta dish.. my wife selected eggplant Parmigiana, and I chose Veal Parmigiana. I also added a Caesar salad. We really enjoyed our meals. Our two couple visit occurred the evening of 10/17/25. The first issue was poor service. Even after a reminder, I never got an ordered tea and after reminding about the appetizer, it showed up after we were eating our entrees. Service was erratic from the time we ordered all the way through to waiting for the bill and payment processing. My wife and I found our food to have only a just okay Italian taste and my egg plant parmesan was barely warm. My friend's per the menu, "one ice cube" old fashioned came with many ice cubes. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and seated promptly. I ordered the pasta trifecta. The clear star of my plate was the cannelloni. The veal osso buco ravioli was underwhelming. It came with a gravy-like sauce whereas I was expecting a tomato or cream-based sauce. The spaghettini with meatball was okay. This place is always a must stop at least once or twice when we are in town. The servers are friendly, drinks are cold and the food comes out quick. We ordered the potato spring rolls and bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were flavorful and hit the spot. I ordered the Trifecta pasta as I wanted some variety along with caesar salad. Wow what a meal! You sit down the server rattles off the specials and asks for drink orders before you have had time to review the drink list. Fast forward, we place the dinner order, 5 minutes later your appetizer is on the table. 10 minutes behind that out comes your dinner while you're still trying to enjoy your appetizer. So, you wolf down what's left of your starter to make room for your dinner plate. Then, once you finish your meal, stand back, as the server now wants to clear your plate while others are still eating. Proper etiquette is to wait until everyone is finished!!!! read more

Checked out the menus they gave us, ordered a drink; then when waiter came back asked if they had ''Early Bird Dinner Menu's and he said No, they thought they considered Valentines Day a holiday (which we didn't think was, but accepted what he said). Anyway, ordered from the regular menu, and had therefore had to pay $10 extra for salads, which are included in Early Bird Dinners. Couple came about 30 minutes later and sat at table next to us, and asked for Early Bird Menus; AND THEY GOT THEM, so tell me where the 'fairness' is. Seems to me staff ought to be trained to know when and if what Menus should be available. We probably paid $10-25 more for dinner . . . Not Happy Camper's. read more
