I love this Baskin Robbins - it is easy to access off Elk Grove Blvd; east of 99 freeway in a strip mall that has plenty of parking. I like the fact that it's an "old school" 31 flavor B&R and always has a wide variety of flavors. They usually have one freezer of sherbets, ices, yogurts, and sugar free options. Then another freezer with classics such as chocolate chip, butter peacan, strawberry, and then a final freezer that include the flavor of the month, specials, along with other B&R favorites such as Pralines and Cream, and World Class chocolate. They of course have a full freezer case full of ice cream cakes and pre packed tubs. The young teen workers usually are smiling as well as helpful whlie they offer you as many taste spoons as you desire. I signed up on the B&R website to obtain their specials which sometimes include 99 cent scoops, or $1.31 scoops. That is cheaper than Thirfty ice cream and it tastes much better! Went in for a last night treat. It was SO damn hot inside. The poor girl Maddie helping us was so nice and very helpful. I have not been to this location in several years. The only reason I chose to come here is because Cold Stone and Leatherby's always have long lines. I knew I would come here and it would be empty, plus I had a gift card that I wanted to use. My girls and I walked in last evening and there was a young man behind the counter consumed with something that prevented him from providing us with assistance or even greeting us. We stood for a while. While we were waiting patiently, two other employees walked in from what looked like emptying the trash. Again, no greeting. They immediately walked to the back and never came out. My daughter asked the young man, who was hidden behind the fridge where the ice cream cakes are stored, if he could help us. He literally turned around and peeked from behind the fridge and said, I'm sorry, but I can't help you. I was floored! He did not say, give me a minute, or I will get someone to help you. He just said he could not help us and turned right back around and put his hands inside of a large bowl and continued to do whatever it was that he was doing. So we turned around and walked out. Customer service is a rare commodity these days. the fact that the store is being operated by teenagers who turn away business can't be good for the bottom line. But this is who the owners are putting in charge of their establishment and they clearly have not trained them on the importance of every dollar and they certainly haven't made customer service a priority. My girls and I immediately when to Leatherby's where we were greeted with a smile, customer service and a manager onsite ensuring the flow of orders. We waited in a long line, but the customer service was stellar, the staff was pleasant, and I was made to feel valued and welcomed. Very rude employee. Acted like we were bothering her. Paid for a 2 scoop sundae and was given Costco sample size scoops that didn't fill half the container. Usually get ice cream here in the spring and summer but will now go to Leatherbys or Gunther's to pay more money for better customer service. Don't waste your money or time. read more

Have loved visiting Baskin Robbins since I was a little kid and I still feel this way today. I stopped by this locations the other day and was amazed by the large variety of their ice cream selections and all the new flavors to choose from. I chose a to-go pint of my most favorite, mint chocolate chip. I have also tried the drink blasts before which are also pretty tasty and sweet. The staff was friendly and let me sample a few flavors before I ultimately decided to go with my classic all-time favorite. The interior was clean and tidy. I will continue to enjoy their ice cream whenever the mood strikes! read more

I called in on a Wednesday to order a birthday cake for Friday night. The woman who answered was actually very nice and able to answer any questions I had. I was kind of vague with my "decoration" description, but the cake turned out great! I got a 6 in round ice cream cake, and it was just enough for a group of 10 people (even though the 6 in is recommended for a group of up to 8). I opted to get the mint chip ice cream with chocolate cake, and with a green decoration/writing. The decoration was actually a lot nicer than I expected. I honestly expected the decoration to be a bit half-assed and slightly ugly, but it was the opposite. If I ever order another ice cream cake, I would come back to this place! read more

I love how every time I come here I can get any flavor I could think of when it comes to BR. Love me some ice cream and love to get great service when I visit a place and pay higher prices than the norm On Sunday I ordered my regular ice cream drink and it was filled only 3/4 of what it should be. They topped it off with some much whip cream to make it look filled I really was disappointed. Paid about $8 for the thing. Didn't have time to go back in for the lobby was completely packed and I was late heading towards my event but called into the manager a couple days later and apologized for their staff serving their drinks incomplete and offered for a complementary drink next time I go in I more wanted to give them feedback so that the employees can be trained on how properly to make the drinks so that there is no future customers un satisfied I will be back I was glad the manager decided to take care of a customer service and staff issue read more

I grew up in Elk Grove, this Baskin-Robbins holds a lot of memories for me. It has probably been 20 years since I last stepped foot in this shop. We stopped in after dinner to pick up some ice cream for dessert. We are big ice cream eaters and I actually love Baskin-Robbins ice cream. The problem is a lot of the shops have gone downhill in terms of customer service and selection, especially the ones that are combined with Togo's. But this Baskin-Robbins hasn't changed from my childhood. Three huge ice cream freezers, with the true 31 flavors (or more?) to choose from. Worst experience ever. So my sisters and i decided to stop by and grab my nephew some ice cream. There was quite a few people so after browsing we decided to hop in line. Worker "A" was helping a lady in front of me , then i thought it was my turn. Nope. Someone cut me and Worker "B" helped him instead. Im like ok, whatever . Its small , forgiven. Then Worker "C" starts helping the guest behind me. Now , i am like what the heck, am i like standing in this damn line for fun. At this point my eyes rolling to the back of my head. The couple isnt ready so, worker "C" is just standing there. I had to ask if he was ready cause i was ready so long ago! I ordered and left. I honestly regret buying the freaken ice cream. We had THE BEST experience today! Andrew was exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind! He was very attentive and efficient! Of the three kids working, he was obviously the hardest worker, cleaning tables and the glass cases when there were no customers to serve.
