Stopped in for snack. The small shop was busy when we arrived. We ordered the pork wonton with fish ball soup and chicken dumplings with chili oil. Soup was flavorful. Dumplings were light and delicious. Ordered the egg puff ice cream cone and brown sugar milk tea with boba on way out. The young man who took our order was very patient and helpful. The woman who runs the shop was also pleasant

I wanted something sweet & saw this place had some good reviews so stopped in. Super friendly lady I think she's the owner. I couldn't decide what to order but a customer stopped in to pick up her order and the lady said it was a very popular order. It was the grass jelly with mango & palm toddy. It was ok. I think I'll try the sticky rice with mango and coconut milk & the egg puff with ice cream looked really good too. It smelled really good Next time. I also tried their red bean Taro and green tea ice cream. It was really good. Their ice cream is from Gunthers. There's seating indoors. There's also some food items. The chicken dumplings with chili oil look so good I'll try that next time too.

We came on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy as there was a big party in front of us. There were only two employees working, but they were very fast. We even had a chance to try out their ice cream flavors. We got the sago with fresh mango and ice cream for $10.50. They even gave us a bigger scoop of ice cream as we were waiting a bit longer than usual. It came out in a 32 oz container and could feed 3-4 people. It was so delicious and fresh. The mango ice cream complemented everything so well. Great service and prices, I will definitely be back!

Ice Dream is a smallish restaurant/dessert place in a shopping center near Sheldon Rd and Bruceville Rd. There are only a few tables inside. They offer some delicious won ton noodle soup, hot oil won ton, congee, and other hot foods. Plus, they do a good job on desserts like mango with sago. Not an extensive menu but plenty to choose from for a light meal or snacks.

Very clean, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were super nice. The ice cream egg puff takes 15 min to make but it's worth it because the egg puff was delicious. It was chewy and crispy. I like the ice cream too because it's from Gunther's. This place was busy and I can see why now. The milk tea was perfect too, definitely will come back here again because my daughter likes it.

This local spot has a bunch of dessert options and even offer some hot food as well. They have alot of ice cream flavors on display and that is really their sweet spot. You can get them by scoop, sundae and even in a egg puff cone, which looked popular. I go for the Gunthers 50/50 as it always hits the spot. They have boba milk teas, and a bunch of other drinks, cold Asian dessert like sage and grass jelly, and hot dessert like sesame balls. They also offer dumplings and wontons, I tried the spicy wontons and they were pretty standard and the actual wonton could use more seasoning as it was all hot oil flavor. They were light and prepared well. The ladies working were very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to get something sweet and maybe something on the side too.

This is probably one the best authentic Hong Kong/Taiwanese/Chinese or whatever you want to call it dessert. I know there are lots of South Sac eats, but this place is clean and have good customer service. Very chill vibes to drop by and enjoy a nice cool dessert during the summer time. I tried both the sago grass jelly and icy grass jelly with taro. Both were really good and hard to choose which one is better. Not too sweet, and the taro was freshly made with the red beans. It took a while to get the icy grass jelly with tari order, but I rather wait then get premade items.

Food: 5/5 the mango, black rice with coconut milk was so good! Rice was cooked perfectly and sticky, right sweetness with the coconut milk and mangoes were fresh. Service: 4/5 stopped in on a late Friday evening around 9pm. Was busy with a few groups seated, few DoorDash orders, and only a few workers. Was a little slow, but not crazy. Ambiance: 4/5 typical boba spot, tables along the side with an L couch in the front. Small spot overall.

Ice Dream is such a hidden gem. I'm so glad I found this spot through Yelp. It's tucked inside the Laguna Village Shopping Plaza, right between Cafe La Vies and Subway. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but that also means parking is a breeze, which I appreciated. When I walked in, I was greeted right away, and even though I took a while to decide, the girl working the counter was super patient and kind, which I really appreciated. Initially I thought I was just coming here for ice cream, but I quickly realized they offer so much more. From mango sticky rice and sago variations to dumplings and wontons, they've got a wide range of Asian-inspired desserts and savory dishes. I ended up getting: - Egg Puff Ice Cream Cone with Oreo Cookie ice cream ($10.95) The egg puff cone itself was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. I also loved that it's served as a bouquet. The presentation is fun and cute. Also the fresh-cut bananas and strawberries added the perfect touch of sweetness and balance to the cone. Without them, this probably would've felt a little too heavy for me. They get major brownie points for using Gunther's Ice Cream and fruit freezes, I loved seeing a local favorite featured here. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a few picture-worthy walls that would be perfect for an ice cream moment. I wanted to get a cute photo, but I didn't want to risk my ice cream falling out of the cone. Can't wait to come back and try some of their hot foods and sago desserts next!

When I walked in I was greeted immediately by two very friendly women! There were a few tables with semi High chairs .I ordered both the chicken and the pork and century egg congee because I had food poisoning earlier this week and it was all I was craving! Right after I ordered 3 parties walked in and it got a little busy, which after I tasted everything I understood why! The Lemon tea was gifted to me while I waited for the congee ( probably 10 minutes max at that point) and it was so refreshing! She said it was her favorite and it was sweetened naturally! Both of the congees were flavorful and nourishing! I'm just sad I haven't tried this place sooner! 10/10! Will be returning to try the handmade wontons and dumplings once I'm feeling better!

My favorite go-to place for quick chinese/taiwanese comfort food and dessert. My regular will always be their porridge. Pork and preserved black egg porridge and vegetarian taro/corn porridge is delish! Chili wontons are a MUST. I never leave without their honey lemon tea. When I'm craving for desserts, their egg waffles are made fresh to order. The perfect crisp and sweetness. They also serve Gunther's ice cream and they are generous with each scoop. Mango coconut sago never misses. Come support our small local businesses.

Sooooo friendly! Just wanted some ice cream and was pleasantly surprised to see all the food options here! (There was taro ice cream!!! ) We need to come back and eat! A few high top tables and some couches in the front. Saw people order boba and some others making comments on the delicious congee. Next time!

This was my first time trying YiFang Taiwan and I was craving a refreshing mango pomelo sago drink after eating a savory meal but the mango pomelo sago was unfortunately sold out so I went with the mango sago and added jelly instead. They made my order wrong, but remade it for me and let me keep the first drink so I appreciated that very much. Their customer service is good and they were quick to resolve the issue. However, I did not really enjoy my drink. When they gave me the first drink with only jelly and no sago, my first impression was surprise at the large quantity of jelly topping in the drink. The toppings made up like 35-40% of the drink. I had the thought to ask them to use less toppings when remaking the drink but I assumed that if they were going to remake it and add two toppings, that it would be the same amount but divided into two. I regretted not asking though because in the corrected drink, they gave me so much topping that it made up half of the drink. They also did not drain the sago and it was not mixed in with the mango drink so it was very off putting and tasted strange compared to the first drink. Even when I tried mixing it all together, there was hardly any drink and all that was coming through the straw were the toppings. I gave up on the drink and ended up just drinking the first drink they made me. I think the topping portions is kind of crazy and I have never really experienced that before. I would much rather have more drink than toppings. I wish I knew about this beforehand or I wouldn't have added an extra topping. I would be open to trying this place again but only ordering their original drinks as is and/or requesting less toppings. I don't want to make quick judgements from this one drink because I have heard good things about YiFang drinks and they had great customer service. I am hopping that my next experience will be better!

So I wasn't sure if it was that type of drink, and or similar with other locations just adding a fancy spin on theor version. Would definitely come back for another drink or two when in the area, and looking for a Boba fix!

Koalatea looks like a small house that was converted into a boba shop. Sadly, I was not impressed…read moreby their drinks. I got the Okinawa milk tea and my husband got the jasmine milk tea. The milk teas did not have a strong tea flavor. It felt like I was mostly drinking milk with a hint of tea. The boba didn't seem fresh either. At least half of the bobas in our drinks were hard and unappetizing. Maybe we got an old batch of boba. For $6-7 per drink, I would go elsewhere.

I guess I'm still on a boba crawl because how did I miss this boba cafe. I was getting food in the…read moreplaza and was like, 'I feel like some boba'. Did a Yelp search and voila, it was right next door. Lol. I ordered a fruit tea on their self service kiosk. Wasn't busy so as they prepared my boba tea, I explored. Some of you may be excited to know they have the mini-claw arcade and a token machine. I'm not sure if it's trendy but I have noticed these machines popping-up everywhere. This boba cafe wasnt busy during lunch so ordering was easy. Not much interaction with staff but maybe thats on purpose. I do appreciate the message on my cup, 'don't forget to smile' It's nice to know there are still boba places to discover.

I was super excited to try out Presotea, And I tried it two times now…read more On my first visit I tried a jasmine tea, which is my baseline for comparing Boba shops. I substitute the dairy or opening, made it less sweet, with less ice. I added boba, And was disappointed because the bubble was not sweetened and there was a lot more food than expected compared to other boba shops. The pearls are also smaller than used to. My other drink was a white peach tea, also. For both milk teas that I received, I could barely taste any tea. Those teas we are also very lightly sweetened when I requested for less sugar. I think that full sweetness actually would be enough sweetness for me since I usually get one level last week anyway. For the third drink, I ordered a enemies coffee, At my second visit, I tried signature fruit tea and the hojicha winter melon tea with pudding. The signature fruit tea was 100% sweetness and was not really sweet. I had also asked for the size. For the winter melon milk tea, I opted for the regular dairy option, which made the drink creamier than the first drinks. I had full sweetness for the string, which was pretty sweet considering that there are winter melon pieces in there, which would be a burst of sweetness. Overall the shop is very clean, plenty of seating. Service was pretty friendly! Overall, this is a solid boba shop for this side of Elk Grove!
