I love a classic ice cream spot and this Baskin-Robbins location is my favorite spot to visit. This Baskin-Robbins is nestled in the Town Gate Center just south of the 60 freeway and west of Frederick St., next to Sherwin Williams. They offer many ice cream flavors including rotating monthly flavors, pre-packed ice cream, ice cream bars and sundaes, ice cream cakes, and frozen beverages. The employees work hard here and are always helpful. I also like that they keep any ice cream with nuts altogether in its own section of the display case. They have a couple tables inside the store, as well as outside. My most favorite BR flavor was Beach Day, which came out last summer (July 2024). It is Salted Vanilla-Flavored Ice Cream with Milk Chocolate flavored Caramel-Filled Sea Turtles - the absolute best and I wish they would bring it back. My next favorites are a tie between Gold Medal Ribbon and plain Jamocha. I would love to see the plain Jamocha offered as a pre-packed quart. This shop is usually pretty clean when I come in, too. Overall, great place to visit when you're craving some classic ice cream in any season, rain or shine! read more

Man I love this place. Baskin-Robbins doesn't play around. My favorite flavors are- Strawberry cheesecake: 8/10. This one actually has little bits of cheese cake inside that are so rich and creamy, and it works so well with the slight tartness from the strawberry. Peanut butter chocolate: 9/10. Where to start?? The place is dirty. There's 3 people working, no customers when me and my family walk in and all the tables are dirty, full of ice cream. No one can walk over and clean the tables?? Also, check my pics. Inside the freezer is dirty as well. Next, service is just as bad. I get it, I work retail and I know dealing with customers can take a toll but I try and make my visits as easy as possible. The girl who took our order just plain didn't want to do it. We came here for the deal they usually have on the 31st day. When walking up, their was already a line wait to get ice cream. After a wait we find out that the deal was cancelled and been cancelled since March, nowhere in the establishment said that. We did not feel like paying $3 for a scoop of ice cream. We was helped by the owner, and we asked if he can honor it, he said he can't but the manger could. At that point was was confused, your the owner. Instead of going any further, because we was just going to leave. He was able to give a deal, it wasn't as good as the one that was canceled but it was something. Don't get us wrong the guy was ice but it would have been nice just to know that information. Came here employee was very kind and patient while she took our order she gave my daughter a sample of an ice cream but only scooped the top not the ingredients inside the middle sonny daughter ordered and when she ate it she got huge overwhelming chunks of peanut butter and she didn't like it, we asked to be made another and they refused, horrible customer service to make a small child happy and we even tipped in the tip jar. Who doesn't have found memories of visiting their local Baskin Robbins when they were a kid? Even if it were a different ice cream parlor, the feels would no doubt be the same. I remember when I was a kid we would frequent BR every so often and I would get a sundae served in a Dodger's little plastic helmet. I was surprised to see that all these years later they still offer those. BR's ice cream is of good quality and, indeed, they have plenty of Flavors to choose from so don't be afraid to ask for some samples. Maybe it's because I can consume ice cream like it's going out of style, but I feel BR as a whole offers scoops on the small side in comparison to some other places. They offer ice cream and sherbert by the scoop as well as pre packaged pints and they also have sundaes, soft serve, cakes, and specialty drinks. This particular BR has always looked clean and presentable and the associates have always been patient and helpful. If you're getting a double scoop, make sure to upgrade to a waffle cone for free and don't forget to sign up for their email list and/or text alerts to receive special offers. I went in here to get 2 prepacked cartons of Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream, which they did not have in the case, however the girl offered to make 2 up for me. It wasnt until after my husband paid that we realized they charged us almost double. After questioning the reason we were told because they packed it and then refused to return our money. In these times, businesses should appreciate the business and customer loyalty. We came here on Valentine's Day night and the worker's were rude to me since the moment I entered. They had us wait forever to assist us. While we were waiting, I witnessed a teen worker with acrylics touching all of the ice cream cones without gloves or without sanitizing her hands. Which is why I ordered a cup instead of a cone. I am biased because I see people here that I know all the time! In reality, this location isn't different from many of the BR's that I've been to. They have the same selection of items and the prices are consistent as well. My only gripe is that they aren't open past 10:00. Their entire ice cream line is pretty great regardless of what you pick, and the prices are pretty affordable. Don't forget you can always get a sugar cone instead of a cake cone for no extra charge, though waffle cones cost a little extra. I wouldn't recommend the 31-below. We got a Oreo one the other day and it tasted like a McFlurry, nothing special about it. Just stick with the ice cream.. that's why they're famous! Very disappointed in this locations lack of customer awareness . I went in this evening around 8:40 and there was a good amount of people in there , but I didn't go in with the intention of ordering . I just went in to pick up a quart of chocolate chip . I politely waited at the register because that's all I needed and each cashier proceeded to ring up every order they had worked on while seeing I only had the quart and clown ice cream to purchase after about 3-4 ppl being rung up I was still standing there with each of them still seeing me and leaving after they rung up the orders they worked on .I finally asked an associate do I need to order ice cream in order for someone to ring me up .Anaya must of felt obligated at that point to do so and said Oh and finally rung me up.I understand ppl like to order ice cream , but there's also those other customers that just go in to purchase a quart or an ice cream cake and should be acknowledged as well. They can easily ring up the order they were working on and then help the customer that's there just purchase already made to go product .They shouldn't just ignore a customer because they are purchasing ready to go items and that's how I felt tonight.They were unaware of all the customers not just the ones that were ordering ice cream on a cone. read more

When it comes to chains and franchises, it is all about consistency. The service is consistently decent here. Prices can be a bit a bit high at times when there are no specials, but that is beyond their control. Pre-packed quarts are the best value unless there are coupons on the cones and sundaes.
