I originally came in for a smoothie, and while they don't have them on the menu, I definitely wasn't disappointed with the alternatives. I tried the Vanilla Raspado (shaved ice) and the Nachos. The shaved ice was perfectly thin, and the vanilla syrup had just the right amount of sweetness. The nachos were also a hit; warm cheese and fresh jalapeños. The shop is super clean with indoor seating. Shout out to Anahi for being so friendly and helping me navigate the menu. I'll definitely be back to try more of their goodies. read more

Frut was not ripe, so didn't have many options of good fruit to choose from. The mango was pale yellow so I didn't get any and asked for papaya instead, but it was an upcharge to get papaya. So ended up with just pineapple, watermelon and papaya for $11 bucks. Next time I'll just buy my own fruit and make it myself, for a place that sells mostly fruit there should be better quality produce. read more

Came here Friday night because my friend's daughter wanted some ice cream. We were looking for Horchata ice cream, but surprisingly they didn't have it, despite having many flavors. I tried a couple flavors and choose, Tres Leches and Snickers. It was okay. I thought the Strawberry Cheesecake & Smores didn't taste like I expected them to. Next time I would probably try Strawberry or Oreo. First time here and I think the prices and portions are reasonable, I just wish the flavors tasted better. I'll be back to try some other flavors. Great Yelp find! Staff were VERY friendly and helpful. Amazing selection. Only downside is overwhelming desire to try it all. Got a mangonada with mango & limon flavor, and a two scoop icecream cup with mamey & coconut. The mangonada was a first for me. The slightly salty, tangy, spicy toppings made me wary at first but truly the flavors do just work. If it is a flavor profile you aren't used to, and seems odd in your first bite, TRUST ME and keep going. As you get used to it the salty becomes less pronounced, like a tiny touch of saltiness at the beginning that quickly fades into the icecream which is some how made to taste so much sweeter and more intensely of it's own flavor. Something with how the flavors combine intensifies the flavors of the fruit. Very new for me and a wonderful surprise! The ice cream scoops were also amazing. Definitely want to go back and try more flavors. Mamey was new to me and very good. A fruit flavor I hadn't had before. Rather than trying to describe the taste myself I'll share what came up when I was searching to learn what mamey was because turns out the description was spot on. "The flavor of a ripe mamey is unique and has been described as having apricot notes, a touch of sweet potato and persimmon and a little hint of nuts and spices. The flesh can range from yellow to salmon to pumpkin orange, even all the way up to a deep red, which is a feature not many other fruits can claim." The coconut ice cream was hands down, zero comparison, the BEST coconut flavored icecream I have ever had. Intensely coconut flavored with bits of coconut in it. Definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be back to try more flavors. read more

This is my first time here and the experience was awesome, walkIng is we was greeted fast, no lines no wait, walked right up. Since I did not know how to order I let my nephew go first. The large was $7 and small was $5.50, we got thE small and I choose mango and pineapple ice cream with chili of course. The last was nice and the places was super color with music playing to entertain. They had a lot choice when it comes to ice cream and ice cream on the stIck. Finally got to try the mangoneada! Super excited when I walked in, and was extremely surprised to see the wide variety of food and dessert they offered. I saw items from the mexican corn to hot cheetos/ nacho cheese, as well sorbet and ice cream to popsicles and mangoneadas. We ordered a mango con chile popsicle and a mangoneada with sour sop and strawberry sorbet. The sorbet was so delicious- we couldn't decide between tamarind and sour sop. In the end, we got the sour sop was sour with seeds in the sorbet, and the strawberry and strawberry bits as well. The mangoneada was topped with chamoy and the straw with the tamarind, and together, it was amazing. Really want to try the classic mangoneada next time though. The mango con chile popsicle was also yummy but in a different way. The popsicle was very light and icy, and the frozen mango and tamarind bits added great flavor and texture to the popsicle. Whereas the mangoneada is more heavy, flavorful, and rich, the popsicle is great for a light, summer treat in the sun. The two came out to be $5.81, which is super cheap and well worth the price. Great first impression of the mangoneada, can't wait to be back to try more flavors! We also got nachos for $3, and they tasted exactly how they should. The cashier/ lady who helped us was also very funny and friendly as we didn't really know the spanish names. I will be back! read more

Yummmmmm. Love the unique flavors. I'm definitely all about the fruity flavors too. I got a fresa con mantequilla (strawberries with butter) and it was soooooo good. For those that know what a gelati is, it's exactly that but the strawberry sorbet is so much better than a water ice place since it has fresh strawberries in it. The slightly butter flavored ice cream tastes like a shortcake that matches perfectly with the sorbet, making it a strawberry shortcake gelati. Sooooo good. Highly recommend that flavor! read more

It's in a ghetto plaza ( no offense) but the ice cream makes up for it. there's half American-ized ice cream and half Mexican ice cream since it's a Mexican store hence the name of the place. you can do samples but the workers here are cranky when ask a question or a sample. like smile people.. you have a long line of customers. We ordered a scoop of Cajeta ice cream and the ice cream didn't taste right, it tasted powdery and rancid. We had that flavor before and it didn't taste that way. The attendant did give us another scoop of a different flavor and I thank her for that but she didn't seem worried that she was selling rotten ice cream. She didn't say she was going to test it or get rid of it. She said she didn't like ice cream. This place is located next to a beauty supply store to the left of Food 4 Less. They have a huge variety of ice cream bars with or without dairy. Me and my friend bought the Granola bar and also the mix fruit with Chile which is, might you, all made in the store by hand. I would come back for multiple occasions such as hanging with my family on a nice Sunday evening or even hung over on a hot Summer day.
