This is my second review, somehow my other review was removed. It's pretty obvious by the other reviews I'm not the only one occasionally getting bad service. I yelp my experience and I thought that is what yelp is about. I don't want to be bothered by emails apologing or excuses as to why your not providing good service or quality. And I don't expect reimbursement or free stuff, to make up for it. I expect for Baskin Robins to provide a service for payment and not to lie about providing that service. Look at my reviews, I don't give many 1 stars. I'm pretty generous with my ratings, so you know your service is horrible. If you live in or are visiting Santa Paula you are aware there are not a whole lot of choices on businesses. It's a hit or miss here, sometimes you can get a scoop of ice cream without drama and other times, I have walk out because a scoop of ice cream is not worth it. I finally came by this BR shop in Santa Paula after meaning to for a long time. My favorite thing is their clown cones and I was very happy to see this store had them in stock and they had a nice variety of flavors, including some of the special seasonal ones! My clown cone was tasty, sufficiently fresh and priced in line with other BR stores. The employees that I met were friendly and polite. Store was clean and they had a good selection of flavors, nothing was out of stock. I would definitely come here again. Parking lot is small and a little awkward but that's a minor thing for me. read more

came in with my family 2 weeks ago on Labor Day and I'm very disappointed with the customer service experience we had. I didn't catch the girls name but she was very obviously annoyed or frustrated. Im raised to say please and thank you as I know that's how I'd want to be treated. However, the girl working was rude and it was overall disappointing. I still thanked her once more on our way out and she just ignored us. Management needs to train better. read more

It's a nice store, but the staff needs to get a better work ethic. It's slow, and every time I go, I seem to have to wait at least 15 minutes. The ice cream is good, but if I want a shorter wait time, I'll go to Rite Aide or Fosters. read more

I was disappointed with my experience here last visit. I ordered a mint chip shake and it was a bit too watery, not thick enough which meant maybe too much milk and not enough ice cream. Plus, there was a wait because only one person was behind the counter and there was a line at lunch as everyone was trying to escape the hot weather. It was Saturday around 8pm, I took a wrong turn and drove past BK... a light shines down from above, illuminating the store and it was callin my name. I walk in the door, and am instantly greeted by Giselle. She says in an enthusiastic tone "Welcome to Baskin Robbins".. then asked if we'd like to sample their featured flavor, which was a brownie ice cream. Frickin YUM!! But I was committed to purchasing a Cappuccino Blast (which I always get with Jamoca ice cream instead of vanilla). You know, not all CB's are created equally - some have little ice chunks or just a tiny bit of whipped cream. However, Giselle made the most delicious Cappuccino Blast I've ever had. Blended to perfection with the perfect amount of whipped cream and cinnamon on top. It made my crappy night so much better. Excellent service, clean store, delicious treats. I'll be back for sure. I've been to other BR locations with subpar service... Giselle should re-train those employees. read more

This place is so unprofessional! I was in there on the 31st of July and obviously it's busy. However, one of the employees had her son in there while she was working. This child was running around behind the cashwrap and bothering the other employees. Around 830pm my family and I of three arrived at BR, and waited outside while there were 4 different families inside, despite there being a sign that says the limit of people allowed. We were cold so we decided to go inside. At that point one of the female employees asked us to wait outside, while allowing a couple to continue taking selfie's. Once we were getting ready to pay another family came in and they were not asked to wait outside like we were. When I told a different female employee who was at the register that they should treat everyone the same, she became upset and gave me attitude and said "we do treat everyone the same!" as she was walking away. She was snappy. I asked for the managers number and Instead they took my name and number and was told I'd get a call. I understand there are capacity limits put in place, but they shouldn't pick and choose when they implement them and with whom. My family and I go there a couple times during the week and spend over $12 and it seems like it's always the same employee who treats us differently from others. I am not sure if I will be going back. It's a small town, you should value your customers. I hope to speak to the manager tomorrow. read more

This is probably one of the best Baskin Robbins establishments in Ventura County! The customer service is amazingly fast, the employees are charismatic and make me feel at home and I love the ice cream Flavors they have! The employees offer me samples and give me coupons that I use towards my next visit! And I love that they regularly have events at Baskin Robbins and that they invite me too them frequently. They are very professional and eager to make the customer 100% happy and satisfied. This establishment is amazing fun to be in and I love the atmosphere of the store. Terrible, terrible service! Been a loyal customer for years, receive both emails and texts alerting me of new flavors. Received an email showing the new flavor of the month. Me and my family arrived at 9pm and stood in line for 7-8 minutes will one employee helped a group in front of us while two other employees stood off to the side. After several more minutes, Jess came over to help us. Not friendly, not helpful at all. Advised me that the flavor of the month wasn't available, therefore my coupon wasn't valid. OK, we'll can we take advantage of "Happy Hour"? We've been in line waiting. Jess told us sorry she couldn't. My daughter proceeded to order, Jess acted very put out that she had to help us. As her coworker rang up the party in front of us, they were allowed to receive the Happy Hour pricing. But we weren't? Jess continued to be very unhelpful, whispering and talking to her coworker instead of helping us. Sorry to say Santa Paula Baskin Robbins, you've lost a long time customer. In this small hodunk town of SP we don't have a lot. And 31 flavors being pretty much the only choice for ice cream kinda sucks. The brand is delicious. It's just their staff needs and attitude adjustment. We get it you're teenagers and life is horrible. But the ice cream itself saves the day and saves BR31 from a one star.
