Went in shopping for my boyfriend's birthday. His favorite chocolate is sold here-Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cream. I purchased a half box. They put the chocolate in cute box that says, Happy Birthday. Shop is kept really organized and clean. It's huge compared to the Ventura location. Staff was ok. They were kind of annoyed at my chatty box question asking self and kept cutting me off before I finished my question. Didn't appreciate that at all but I know get they weren't interested in talking to me. I had questions .. though .. haha! I did feel they were rude since I wanted to know about the different chocolates and that's what this business is all about :) Anyway.. important thing bf was super happy. Mission accomplished.

This is a big open store in the shopping center with Fry's and Olive Garden. Tucked away in the back, it's new, clean and has a large variety of boxed chocolates and their normal assortment of individual candies. I stopped in last week and was pleased to see some of my favorite candies in pre-packaged bundles, including Scotchmallows and California Brittle. They also had a ton of holiday chocolates (for Valentine's day) and seasonal small candies like sour gummies and heart-shaped foil wrapped chocolates. The employees I met were friendly and helpful, though I was not offered a free sample of chocolate like I've gotten used to at every other See's store I've been in. Oh well, it wasn't as if I needed another piece. Trying to cut back anyway. That didn't happen though, I ate my entire bag of Scotchmallows before the night was over. So good!!

Something sweet for the drive home!

Nevada was totally awesome in helping me select a midday treat. I've been on a sees kick since I tasted the caramel apple scotchmello but I do enjoy the California crunch, walnut square and some samples to boot.

    This store is pretty spacious

I don't understand why the bad reviews, everyone was friendly. I am used to going to the store in the mall for years. The ladies there are always nice, just as nice as they were on this location on Rose. Frankly, for a business like See's candy store, it comes down to service since the chocolate is the same at all the other See's stores. The service provided when i attended was good. Perhaps not great but there was nothing really to help me with since i knew what i wanted and made a bee line towards it. Promptly as we looked on the display we were offered a truffle to sample (always love that and expect that at any location). We were rang up with a smile, thanked for for our business and offered a card to redeem 2 free lolls with any $10 of spending. The locale itself is quite spacious, which i think will be very convenient once the holidays com around. The locations makes it super convenient if you are shopping at Marshall's or Fry's and want to avoid hitting the crowds at the mall or outlets if you want to get See's. Will be back around the holidays to see how they handle large cranky customers, haha

Scotch mallow in the wax paper are one of my favorites.

This See's store is so much more convenient than the one in the mall. It's hidden in the corner by the 99 cent store. The parking is good and they are always friendly. I had a $5 off of $25 coupon and a $20 gift card. The nice lady was new so she didn't know how to redeem my gift card so I guess I have to go back and get another box. Darn it. Lol!! See's is my favorite chocolate far better than Godiva in my opinion and much less expensive and always fresh.

    For the love of lollipops

How can you go wrong with chocolate. I like the dark chewy with nuts. Great service and tree tastings.

This former house, now a lovely business, offers plenty of room to relax with a delightful beverage, some engaging conversation, and a bit of gift shop gazing. Hungry? No problem! The accommodating staff will let you know what they recommend for a quick bite, or a satisfying meal. Plenty of locals were here on the day we popped in, working on laptops, discussing presentations/proposals, and enjoying a book with their mocha, cozied up in a comfy chair. We were looking for a quick, easy bite and some caffeine before we moved to our next location. Splitting a ham & cheese on fresh sourdough, then each getting a bevvie(he likes a cup o' Joe in the afternoon, but I had a delicious spiced Chai with whole milk) was a perfect little snack to keep us revved up. What a lovely way to chill out, or be productive! Parking is free on the street, and also in a lot on the opposite side the square. I love that they also support other local, small businesses and artists with some of the items they have for sale. I couldn't resist a bag of kettle corn for just $6 and then read the label that it was produced in a fully licensed local, private kitchen. Lic and expiration date, as well as ingredients and location of manufacturer were clearly stated on the packaging, making me feel real comfortable about my purchase and support of local businesses. How cool to have a business that provides space for other, even smaller businesses! I already was thinking about the friends I was eager to share this great little spot with, in hopes they too will enjoy and return with their friends. And so on, and so on, and so on! Cheers! "CC"

Came into Lindy Loops looking for a birthday gift for a friend. While I didn't find the exact gift for her I was thrilled to see so much cute stuff here. The two gals working here were super nice and welcoming. They offered to help me if needed and just made the shopping experience A+ by how friendly and attentive they were when I did have questions. This store has a little bit of everything. Home goods - like candles, blankets and pillows. Clothing primarily for women. Also jewelry, bags and hats. The store is bigger then it looks from the outside. I really enjoyed looking around and seeing all of the cute little treasures they have. The owners informed me that they will soon be moving just across the street so make sure to keep a lookout for that. Sounded like they could be moving in a month? Right now they are located in the shopping center in Camarillo by Yolanda's. They will hop right across to the center with the Ralph's. It's really nice to have a cute gift shop in Camarillo and they've been open a few years now. Definitely go support if you can. I know I'll come back to look around again soon.

I've even bought a children's book and baby toys here. Pricing is affordable. The things that are on the more expensive end are reasonably so due to the craftsmanship of the product and the quality. Love watching their journey unfold and supporting such a thoughtfully designed and adorable shop. I highly recommend!

The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.
