We visited this center because my kids wanted to catch some Pokémon that were available. While they were playing their game I went into the Dairy Queen for a treat. When ordering I had a few questions about the desserts and he answered them politely and even guided me to the "French Sill Pie" Blizzard. When my order was ready he tipped it upside down which caused me to flinch and say "don't do that sh+t". To that we both laughed and I went off and enjoyed my treat while the kiddos caught their imaginary friends. Also, the place was pretty clean and tidy. First, this rating is not about the employees, who were both friendly and efficient. Or the store - it's a typical small DQ place. Clean, forgettable. It's about the actual product and pricing. So, a large Blizzard now runs $9! (actually, 8.99, but). It tasted fine, but maybe the freezer wasn't running cold enough because in the 5 minutes it took to get home it had the consistency of a not so cold milk shake and didn't need a spoon much at all. In comparison, you could cross the street and get a large 'frosted' product (just plain chocolate or vanilla though), for $3.99. Almost as big, but if that wasn't enough, then get 2 and still save a dollar. And the second one will still be cold and solid by the time you finish the first one, LOL. We stop at a Dairy Queen whenever we travel because we don't have one in San Luis Obispo. This is a small spot in a strip mall next-door to a Walmart. If the weather is nice enough there is an outdoor seating area but otherwise plan to eat in your car! My husband always gets a blizzard and I always get a peanut buster parfait with both hot fudge and caramel. This was one of the best because they put plenty of sauce on it and listened when I asked to have only a few peanuts. I liked their ice cream. It was well blended and not too sweet. Portions are huge, though. I got a medium size and ate 2/3 of it, couldn't finish it. Service was quick and nice. Ambiance is like average ice cream shop, nothing special, nothing bad. read more

Very clean store, friendly staff that was attentive and helpful with my order and with changing out some blizzard mix-ins. The food was great, blizzard was as expected and Amazing. I did not like this place at all. It is dirty inside, the service is extremely slow and the prices are somewhat high for what they have to offer. My ice cream was delicious but the service sucked. We weren't greeted when we walked in and we were waiting forever before we received any help. I think we were in the store more than 30 minutes for 3 blizzards. It's also a very small space and they were frying a lot so I left smelling like French fries. Number 1. The DQ blizzard cake is in real. I feel like I should not be telling, but seriously though, I am gonna beach for another one for my sons birthday, so don't go raising the prices. For a nice round one it was $25 and let me tell you, it was on point. Cookies and cream blizzard ice cream cake is the way to go for a ice cream lover, Oreo lover or blizzard lover's birthday. My only regret is the I haven't bought one before this past weekend. I feel like this is a unique instant hit at any birthday. I came in here last night to order some chicken tenders as I find them to be delicious and the cashier was being incredibly rude to me. I get why someone would be a little sassy if I would've came in before closing but It was only 8:30. I saw her name and saw that she was the shift leader too. Completely immature. My daughter ONLY wants a classic Dairy Queen cake for her birthday every year. A thick layer of chocolate​ and a thick layer of vanilla ice cream with fudge and cookie crumbles in between, yum! They also have a book full of edible photo options and designs for every occasion. Last week I picked up my daughter's cake but when I cut it I saw that there was a problem. The chocolate layer was basically missing in action. I called and spoke to Stephanie, who spoke to her manager, and they fixed the problem right away. No hassles, no arguments, just GREAT customer service. You know as well as I do how rare that is these days and I appreciate Dairy Queen standing by their product and doing their best to ensure a happy customer.
