There did not appear to be enough room to get around someone if they were ordering at the drive thru and the parking lot on the opposite side seemed a little tight with high curbs.

A favored circle lounged around exchanging smirks, whispered barbs about customers, and idle gossip, while the few conscientious ones scrambled to pick up the slack. The owner's selective blindness was obvious. It created a clear undercurrent of favoritism, pettiness, and low key bullying that made the whole place feel cliquey and mean spirited.
