The place is clean and tidy, there was a line, but it went quickly. The team behind the counter seemed like they were working well together. The person who scooped my ice cream was friendly and offered me a cup and spoon in addition to my waffle cone. I really appreciate this since it was a hot day. She loves candy and so does grandpa - so we always stop at Sweeden Sweets when we're in town. This visit was more special than all the others as there was a very knowledgeable and kind man working the store (the owner?). He was so kind and so informative. Tucked away behind the boat club is a small pink stand that is selling big and delicious flavors! The service was extremely friendly and fast! I wanted to try a few flavors so we got honey lavender, mango lime sorbet, and vanilla. Each flavor was absolutely delicious and the textures were perfect! My favorite was the Mango lime sorbet! Very refreshing! The views here are soooo pretty! Be careful where you sit, many of the tables and chairs are reserved for the boat club members only. There were some benches and you can walk down the stairs to the boardwalk area to find more benches as well! I will absolutely be returning to this hidden gem the next time I am in Duluth!
