The condition of the building and parking lot probably don't help to draw in passersby. Inside, the restaurant also needs a deep cleaning and some TLC. We sat in a booth and were waited on by a nice waitress. She also seemed tired. After looking at the menu (which used to seem bigger) we ordered our meals. They seemed to take awhile to get, despite the restaurant being empty. The food? Okay. Not bad but not super. The gyro was underwhelming. Most places pack it full; this wasn't the case on our visit. The fries were also just okay. My fellow diners also described their meals as okay. Overall, Louis' seems tired. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. It just was.

We both were very glad we went. My wife ordered the California burger and I ordered the mushroom and swiss cheese with the addition of sauteed onions and bacon. My burger was absolutely delicious. My wife really enjoyed hers, but mentioned she wished she had ordered it medium. The fries were obviously hand-cut and I assume on the premises...hot and delicious. Don't worry about plenty of ketchup. The bar had several, very large bottles of Heinz ketchup within easy reach. Plenty of rolls of paper towels. We ordered two Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy drafts; nice and cold. They use a very unique pint glass with a hole and magnet in the bottom. The glass is placed on the machine and it is enters through the bottom. Never have seen this before. Ambiance? Very eclectic with a nautical theme. I loved this place!
