Bud Light and Box Wine.
John A.

Basque center feels more like a welcome center than it does a bar. This is a great rendezvous location to meet up with friends before hitting up the other bards. The bar is very well lit and the environment is very mellow. If you are looking to kill some time with a drink and meet some locals, this is the place for you. They have plenty of bar stools and tables to pick from. They also have a pool table if you are interested in a game of billiards to go with your drink. The basque center has two beers on tap (bud light and blue moon) and they serve it in a 10 oz. mug. They also have box wine if you are interested in something different. I recommend trying their Kalimotxo (red wine and cola).

She has a great sense of humor and was laser-focused on safety, while at the same time giving us the space and support to get really hands-on. It was awesome to go home with some pieces that we made ourselves, too. I really can't recommend this class enough. Whether or not you have any desire to make something of it beyond the class itself, it is a super fun way to spend the weekend. And you will learn a lot! P.S. I really can't tell you why Yelp changes the rotation of my photos. This is the second review it has happened to. Anyway, even sideways and upside down, hope you can see what a good time we had!

I recently took the two-day 12 hour Intro to Welding course offered by Sue at the Sculpture Studio…read more I have to say it was a fantastic experience! Sue is very knowledgeable, approachable, thorough and laid back. Her instruction in the course (among other things) covers safety, her personal experiences with welding and equipment, oxy torch/mig/plasma equipment setup, cutting/grinding/sanding/etc tools and methods. She provides valuable take-home handouts with information on all of these things as well. All students in the class are given individual opportunities to handle all equipment with Sue supervising directly, including welding and bending with oxy acetylene, oxy cutting, MIG welding, plasma cutting. After demonstrating skills, she will closely supervise each student's techniques and provide constant commentary on means and methods for all to learn from. Sue's self-proclaimed goal is to have students walk away from the class with a safe, competent understanding of the tools and processes involved and to arm them with the ability to confidently weld their little hearts out. In that, she has definitely succeeded! If you want an excellent class with a great teacher to learn the basics of welding, this is the one!

FULL DISCLOSURE This…read morereview is for the 208Market that is held in the parking lot at the Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho. The 208Market is held every Friday night from 7pm to 11pm. It is collection of small business owners with hispanic goods and foods. It is an amazing event that has a lot to offer everyone. Parking can be tricky but the park across the street is a decent place to park. Vendors can change their space weekly and there are new vendors every week. There is a DJ spinning La Chona and other classics and the vibe is very family friendly.

In addition to being a venue that people can rent for business or personal functions, it's also a little museum. They have a kitchen, a nursery, a computer room with HP computers if someone wanted to do a class there, other classrooms of varying sizes, and larger rooms where people could host something like a wedding reception. They even have a bar. For the museum type, you can walk around and look at artwork on the walls upstairs and downstairs, bright, colorful murals showcasing some classic Mexican themes like loteria, La Virgen de Guadalupe, Selena, and a low rider couple. They also have a room that has some ornate Mexican sombreros, dolls, and more artwork. This would be a great place to take younger kids, or homeschoolers on a field trip, and of course, to rent space from to host a variety of events.
