Such an amazing fun bar that is an absolute staple in the community. I havent been back to Boise in 10 years but its great to see this place still thriving. Hannnahs is loved by the nearby university and all of the locals as well. Very fun, has live music, two floors, very big open clean space. I have such great memories in this place and could not recommend it enough!

Very fun! Loud! Little pricy for drinks but thats to be expected. Really cool upstairs/downstairs set up! Recommend going to see Rocci and the band, she's totally entertaining!

Humpin Hannah's was a blast! Was in Boise for the weekend celebrating my cousin in law's 23rd birthday and decided to come by here for the night. I had no idea how iconic this place was in Idaho, but I definitely understood why by the end of the night! Initially they play good songs with the music video displayed in the background before The Rocci Johnson Band comes out with Rocci herself performing and generously throwing goodies into the crowd. She has very vibrant energy that you immediately gravitate towards. I would totally come back here!

I absolutely love this bar! The drinks were great and the service was even better. The ambiance was wonderful and fun feeling

I trekked far off my usual routine for a Friday night and found myself downtown at Humpin Hannah's per a recommendation of a colleague. I've lived in Boise for more than 18 years and never once stepped foot inside HH. I wasn't sure what to expect but I surely didn't expect to see the world's largest collection of bras. There are bras of every size, shape, and pattern hanging from the ceiling and decor. I wasn't sure what the story was about the 'sous-vetements' until a patron contacted one of the employees to make a 'donation' The 'donation' was not risqué but reminded me of that scene from Flashdance. Once the bra was no longer confined it was released and hung. There was an instant celebration with applause and cheering. Throughout these donations, HH is a very active bar scene with all the usual suspects and more. Sure there are bridal parties, guys in flip-flops and shorts, couples, and of course friends. HH is more than a bar as it has two floors, pool tables, dart boards, and interesting decor throughout. Service was great and attentive and HH made a new fan. While I may not able to go weekly, I'll try to make it to HH as regularly as I can and check out the new additions to the collection.

In my opinion all they need to do to improve Hannah's would be to build a bigger dance floor because Rocci definitely brings in the crowds!

My wife and I were excited to check it out-we love drag queens. The first night, we arrived about 30 minutes after the show began and found that it was jam packed. We were standing back by the bar and had very limited visibility to the stage. After about 40 minutes of not being able to see, we left. But we returned the next day, much earlier, and were able to stand closer to the stage. People are respectful of each other and welcoming to all. I appreciate that the emcee (I forget her name) made it a point to welcome people who were drinking alcohol as well as those that wanted non-alcoholic options, which the bar offers. I appreciate that. She also reminded everyone about consent-specifically about taking picture and video, which was sadly ignored by some patrons. But overall, I felt like it was a safe space. Bartenders were friendly and attentive, as were all the staff that we interacted with. My one complaint was the condition of the bathroom. Look, I don't care what your biological gender or gender identify are, but please don't pee on the toilet seat. Both the stall that I used as well as the one my wife used were covered in urine. That's just gross-no matter who you are.

Would've liked the karaoke rotation to work differently, though: I put my name in and then the people ahead of me sang twice before it was my turn. And some of the most cringe songs available. You walk in and immediately feel like you're in a ratchet sleezeball zone. Was it worth it?!? Yes! Was it worth it to come 3 hours before the concert started, NO! There is nothing here that can take up 3 hours of my time that I'd be happy with. They serve food from a funky food truck. Hot dogs, tacos, chips and cookies. Seriously?!? SRH was hard to find even with GPS. No one was around to tell us where to park. You get here and you think you are on someone's farm. It's just an open storage barn style setting. As someone said in an earlier review, DO NOT waste your hard earned money and buy reserved seating. Everyone on the dance floor will stand right in front of you. We spent $200 to have people standing in our way? This is truly going to suck. Waiting for over 3 hours for the concert to start and still nothing. With that said, the meet and greets here are definitely not worth the time or the money spent. Spend your dough elsewhere! You'll be happy you did. What am I doing to pass the time away you ask? I'm writing my Yelp review!! The concert has finally started and a bunch of women set their drinks on our table, stood directly in front of us and completely blocked our view of the stage from our "RESERVED SEATS!" See my picture for proof. That's just fucked up Stoney's! We left 3 songs in to Kylie's set. We felt completely cheated in buying a full price reserved seat and we got nothing for it. If this is how this really works when you buy a reserved seat at SRH, then come clean and tell your customers that our view of the stage will be completely blocked and/or obstructed. Never in my life have I bought a reserved seat to a concert and not had a view of the stage. My future recommendation to everyone is...only buy general admission / standing room only tickets or buy nothing at all. Stick a fork in us, we're done!

My family and I attended an event at this venue, and what should have been a fun, memorable…read moreexperience turned into one of the most upsetting and unprofessional situations we have ever dealt with. Moments before Silverstein was about to take the stage, a female employee aggressively confronted us without warning. There was no polite request, no conversation--just sudden hostility and yelling. The supposed "issue"? My six-year-old daughter was on my shoulders while we were standing OFF TO THE SIDE, near the handrail, purposely away from the center so we wouldn't block anyone. We had already watched three bands this way for over two hours without a single problem. No one around us ever complained--quite the opposite. Many people were excited to see a child enjoying her first concert and told us how awesome it was. People were smiling, cheering her on, and taking photos of how much fun she was having. When this employee stormed over and started yelling aggressively, several concertgoers immediately spoke up for us. They told her clearly that my daughter wasn't bothering anyone, wasn't blocking anyone's view, and was just a little kid enjoying the moment. Instead of listening--or acting like a professional--the staff member told these guests to mind their fing business*, loudly and aggressively, right in front of my daughter. My daughter burst into tears instantly. She was terrified and confused and kept saying she didn't understand what she did wrong. This altercation absolutely devastated her, and no six-year-old should ever be treated like that at what should have been a joyful experience. We supported the venue fully--we bought tickets, we purchased food and drinks, and we even paid to have our jackets stored in their cubbies. Despite all that, we were treated with nothing but disrespect and hostility. After being forced to leave the show entirely, I spoke to the young woman at the front desk. She told me directly that this has never been an issue in the past. When I asked to speak with someone in charge, they sent the exact same female security employee who had yelled at us. She walked up smiling--as if she was proud of the altercation or pleased with herself for causing such distress. It was disturbing and completely inappropriate. I later spoke with the General Manager hoping there would finally be some accountability. Instead, he acted as if he didn't believe what happened. He even stated that it was "impossible to post rules or regulations for their events--they just deal with problems as they happen." That attitude alone demonstrates the lack of structure, consistency, or professionalism at this venue. Despite multiple witnesses trying to defend us earlier, he dismissed nearly everything. In the end, he simply pushed a refund at us like that would somehow erase the harm done. A refund does NOT fix this. A refund does NOT erase my daughter's fear and heartbreak. A refund does NOT change the unprofessional, hostile behavior of the staff. In a blind effort to find answers--knowing full well the band was not responsible for the venue's actions--we contacted the band's management. Shockingly, the band's manager responded to us before the venue ever did. That alone says everything about who actually cares about their fans. It says even more that other concertgoers showed more empathy, common sense, and integrity than the venue's own staff and management. I hope this review helps other families understand the type of treatment they may face here. No child should ever leave their first concert crying because of a staff member's deliberate hostility. If the venue cannot handle enforcing rules respectfully, cannot create a safe and welcoming environment for all ages as they advertise, and cannot treat paying customers with basic human decency, then something is seriously wrong with how they operate.
