Gorgeous inside....loved my date to the Nutcracker. Not the kids...but the show...the setting...it was wonderful. Park at the lot across the street it is free after business hours. Restrooms are a pain...all the way in the basement...but it will give you a nice workout and stretch. All the seats have a great view. We purchased midrange. read more

Just came here for the first time to see Shen Yun. First off, I LOVE that downtown Fort Worth has free parking after 5pm, so stars for being located in a place where parking fees aren't a thing. The staff was professional and courteous, so I have nothing but nice things to say about them. The performance hall is lovely and the seats were soft and comfy. My only complaint is it was freezing in there and I had to keep my coat on the entire time, but that's pretty typical for performance halls. We had a great experience at Bass and hope to return soon! read more

I saw Robert Earl Keen play here last December. It was a strange juxtaposition of cowboy hats vs elegant music hall. Sound wise Bass Hall is amazing. Customer service is also amazing, professional and friendly. I had a balcony seat and was very happy with the view, the comfiness of the seat itself and the whole experience. Shen Yun 2019 performance. Do not waste your money on Shen Yun!!! Bass Hall is beautiful but we left at intermission. Was very disappointed in Shen Yun. For $100 a ticket and to find out it is just promoting a Chinese religious movement. The colors and dancers are talented but it was boring and the scenes were not explained even though there was a Chinese girl speaking Chinese and a man explained a little of what she said. Loved my time here! We came for their Star Wars & Beyond by the fort worth symphony orchestra! Our tickets and our seats were a better deal over Dallas (however I love the Meyerson Symphony just as much) and cannot wait to go again to see another show. read more

My wife and I attended the Saturday matinee performance of Les Miserables on June 29. It was as wonderful as it could be, and the Bass Hall was spotless and a perfect host. The stage, cast and sound was wonderful. Ushers were awesome. The event could not have been more perfect for this our 56th wedding anniversary. Our day was topped off by a great dinner and (shared!) slice of lime cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory immediately across the street with our newly married grandson and beautiful wife. The Saturday afternoon and evening drive to/from Rockwall was no problem. Life is good. Praise the Lord! read more

Bass Performance Hall is immaculate. It's perfect for any occasion: date night, family night or night out with friends. In fact, I've done all three. 1. Date night with my boyfriend watching a Beatles Tribute Band 2. Wizard of Oz with some girlfriends and 3. White Christmas with the family. White Christmas left me feeling so completely excited about the holiday season. Next musical? Hopefully, Mary Poppins! read more

We went on a free tour of the hall on Saturday at 10:30 which was really cool -- our tour guide pointed out many artistic details and art work in the building that might have been overlooked if we were just there to see performances. It really is a beautiful hall. read more

Once you take a look at this place on the outside, you've got to go in for a show! The Bass Performance Hall is absolutely stunning inside. I've been coming here for years. I have annual shows that I come to and I love checking out new and upcoming touring shows. It definitely is a sophisticated venue so please don't show up with torn clothes and flip flops. It's good to dress up once in a while. But business casual will work as well. read more

The mezzanine seating is far worse than any coach class in any airplane. I was very uncomfortable, my companion was in pain. And overheated from bodies jammed together in narrow seats. Just awful. Don't sit there if you're over 5'2 or 150 lb. terrible terrible. Ruined our enjoyment of a great show. The ushers are wonderful. Bathrooms too small to handle the crowd. Parking excellent. Building lovely to the eyes. Very disappointed. read more

Bass Hall has a lovely interior and parking was a breeze. We attended a FWSO concert with Karen Gyomo as the violinist. Fantastic! It was easy to get in and out of the place, also. A plus, considering concerts are usually a mass chaos to get through. read more

This is one of the best performance halls that I've been to. We went for the Dracula ballet performance earlier in the year for a matinee performance and got relatively cheap seats in the upper, upper deck that turned out to be perfect. The acoustics are beautiful and the all around neo-gothic feel of the building and its gargoyles help add to the experience. The only bad thing about this venue is that it's in Fort Worth. But, I will suck it up and make the drive for another ballet here. read more

Amazing. First time to visit this venue for a musical and it was really nice. All the ushers were helpful and kind. The venue was very clean and even the bathroom line went fast! Went to see The Book Of Mormon and the seats were great, the price for he seats were reasonable. I didn't buy anything so I cannot speak on pricing for anything else but parking was bad and just an overall great experience. read more

Absolutely beautiful theater - this was my second time here, and I am amazed every time. All the seats on the lower level have incredible views. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra to sit lower - the top section is very crowded. read more

I cannot imagine anyplace being of more quality experience than Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth. Everything is exquisite about every time I have been fortunate enough to be there. The valet service is as nice as it gets. We usually get a person from Northern Michigan, whose smile lights up on seeing us. The entrance is inviting, the people in their like jackets are so very helpful offering assistance. All of the surroundings are so beautiful and well chosen. Bass Hall itself is a structure of love for the people of Fort Worth and the presentations are always a treasure. read more

Never again! This place yes, very nice but make sure you don't deal with them online. I will never, ever deal with this rip-off institution even when it's their fault, it doesn't matter, you're screwed. They screwed us out of great seats and stuck us up in the nosebleeds because "All sales are final, even if our system screwed up." They won't correct their mistake they'll just take your money. We were so angry we walked out and never saw the concert, that's how angry these folks will make you. Update, after about 7 months, my Credit Card Company finally refunded my ticket amount due to their investigation of this establishment and the circumstances around the situation. Thank goodness that membership has its privileges. Again, just say no to Bass Performance Hall and their BS. read more

What beautiful performing arts center. Easy access and parking was free.

I love Bass Hall. I love the quality of shows that this gorgeous, accoustical marvel attracts. Many kudos to the Bass Hall management for their work with the FWSO and the Texas Ballet Theater, and for the Broadyway at the Bass series. Parking is free and just across the street, and the employees are always very friendly. Love that you can pre-order a beverage and pick it up during intermission. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because no matter when we attend an event at Bass Hall, it is always incredibly warm and stuffy inside. There have been a couple of times when I've actually had to get up and go outside because it's just too warm. Based on the number of people I see fanning themselves, I know I'm not the only one. Other than that, this place is perfect. read more

A night out at Bass Performance Hall is a rare treat that I savor every time, though our visits are few and far between. Getting dressed in our finest and practicing our best "elementary, my dear Watson" smugness is quite a change from our typical jeans and t-shirts life. Fantastic. The venue is gorgeous, the seats are comfortable enough and the accoustics are incredible, everything you'd want in a high end theatre. There is free parking at the garage nearby and the staff is polite and attentive. As with most theatres, if you want to have a drink, it's a bit pricey, but there are a number of great bars within easy walking distance if you want to start there. There are the occasional unruly child, like all theatres, but my only real complaint is that I once chose to take wing seats on the first level, as they were the closest available and quite cheap. You get even less than you pay for, as it leaves with only a view of the front of the stage, about a thrid of the backdrop, and a very suspension-of-disbelief ruining view of the of the wings of the stage and a lot of backstage goings on. This can be a problem with such seats, and you pay much less for them, but I feel it was worse than necessay, these seats shouldn't even be on sale or should cost next to nothing. read more

Beautiful, easily accessible location to watch a show! Located in an ideal location in Sundance Square (free parking in the close-by garage in the evenings and weekend, plus plenty of places for dinner and drinks pre- or post-show). The staff is friendly and you can buy a lidded cup with a small additional fee to enjoy your adult (and non-adult) drink inside the theater. Don't be fooled by the long lines in the lobby - go downstairs to find another bar by the restrooms. The restrooms are large enough to accommodate the crowds and are cleverly decorated with lines of sheet music across the doors - when you get to the middle (the bathroom has two entrances), check out the D.S. al fine, which my musician friends will know means to return to the beginning in order to not cut the line on the other side. Rhe acoustics were great when I went to go see a musical - it's also a small enough theater that most seats should provide a satisfactory view. Definitely worth it to see a show here. read more

Unlike other show venues, you can park for free in the parking garage if you come early. I came here to see I Love Lucy live onstage and had a really good time. What a beautiful venue. The building inside and out is beautiful. The sound quality if nice. I'd come back to see another show. read more

Saw Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert tonight in Good vs. Evil tour. They were fabulous! Can't say the same about Bass Hall. It IS beautiful, but the seating is HORRIBLE! Since I didn't get a choice of seats even though I paid top dollar for tickets, we were seated in the BOX seats. Eight straight backed chairs per box. No arms, kinda awkward height. But at least I wasn't the poor lady behind me or several others who stood UP way before the concert was over because they were so uncomfortable.Their chairs were barstool height. It made the last hour of the show miserable for all of us in our box. Never again unless I can sit on the floor in the nice, cushy, theater seating with arms!! read more
