She was not friendly about it at all. Also, although the store looks great, they did not have very good selection of stock or sizes. I will no longer shop there and rather go with on-line stores for my camping / outdoor gear.

When I returned two days later to return an item, that same employee sat behind the "returns" sign and said "how could i possibly help you"? My facial expression prompted her to explain that she's the bank and that i was in the wrong line. Another employee saw the interaction and took my items to return. I emailed a picture of my check and credit card to the store manager. No response of any kind.

I'll still go to REI to try stuff on and see features firsthand because they have more of a selection of what I buy (I.e. gear rather than clothes), but I won't buy it there. If Gearhead can get it, I'll order it through them. I had the hardest time trying to find sandals that I actually liked. Chris was absolutely awesome and even called another store that had what I thought I wanted and had them hold them for me. Ended up hating those after wearing them around the house and went back to Chris and returned them and ended up getting what he had suggested in the first place. I haven't been wearing them long, but I can already say they're by favorite shoes I've ever had (bedrock cairns). The customer service here is what it used to be at REI. I'll go here from now on.

I was a little disappointed by the small inventory of knives and multitools. Bass Pro prices range from bargains to ultra-premium products, so look online before you shop. Probably the best selection of hats on this side of the Mississippi. Taking a star off because the sales reps were RELENTLESS. They bothered my friend and I the entire time we were in the store. Neither of us were interested in buying the credit card and that sentiment has not changed since our visit.

Sorry readers, just a bit miffed. How flipping rude are these people? Called to ask if they were…read moreopen for business (due to Covid 19) and the internet had them listed as "closed" after opening hours. He replied "We never closed". In an effort to let them know of a problem on the internet that could effect their sales, I said "the internet said you were closed so I wanted to check". Interrupting me mid sentence he said "the internet says we open at 10am". While looking directly at the newly refreshed web page that differed, I attempted to explain further, but INTERRUPTING AGAIN, he said "we open at 10am". This guy needs to be schooled on proper phone etiquette when dealing with customers, much less with other human beings. If their in-store service rivals their phone rudeness, I will be going elsewhere and informing everyone else in every form of social media available to do the same.
