I'm very glad I brought my car here. Really knowledgeable, and honest employees. They've been…read morearound since the 1970's, and you can tell that they've built a lasting business on the morals of solid work, at fair prices for a job that can give your a second life. James did a great job of explaining the situation to me, and was very accommodating by allowing me to bring my car in and speak to him on a day they were closed. Customer service at its finest. Tri City Transmission also gave me better price for a NEW transmission than a franchised auto shop offered me for a used one. I'm grateful I gave my business to them, and highly recommend you to do the same.

Don't go here. A bout 50ish days ago I went here to replace my transmission in my Honda civic. They…read moretold me a used transmission would be 1900 and a new one would be 2500, so I went with the used transmission. They gave me a 60 day warranty and everything went great, the transmission ran great and they did an overall good job but we still had to replace the transmission mount since they did not. Anyways we had to go back 54 days later because the transmission started to leak transmission fluid and they told us they would fix it with the warranty. When I went to pick up the car after they "fixed" it I was treated rudely and with sarcasm all because I didn't respond to a question correctly. When I got the car back I found out they didn't fix shit even though they told me they did, the transmission is still leaking. Do not go hear and waste your time.

Great service at a good price!…read more I thought my car was a goner, it would not start, or if it did would only run a short time. Had to have it towed to Mikes. They found the problem quickly and the next day I was back on the road!

I brought my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit in for new brakes and rotors. A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.
