I was walking through Bath and body Works trying different scents to hopefully find something that my niece would like. I was struggling a bit because I wasn't really getting Berry scents like she had asked. Then I saw Nikki who just so happen to walk by and even though she was gathering a mobile order but I felt like I could tell I was lost so I just asked her if she knew of any Berry scents & she immediately gave me some recommendations to help me in the right direction. I will say she nailed the smells even checked in on me to see if I liked it or not and when one was out of stock she went looking for me and ended finding the scent in a gift set that was perfect for my niece. Who doesn't like Bath & Body works? Always greeted as you walk in then the overwhelming scents of the store is almost overpowering. But isn't that part of the reason why you came here? I think you always have a favorite scent that you go back to time and time again, but I really enjoy testing out new ones to see if there's something different. I'd like to try. It's a bit pricey, but I really love their products and will continue to buy all my bath, gels and hand soaps here. This was "National Candle Day" and it was busy. The line was theme park style outside the store in the mall. $9.50 for 3 wick candles wouldn't normally bring me out, they have 2 for 22 sales. I did however have a $15 off $45 coupon, so my 5 wonderful candles were only $34 dollars. Great Deal and I was going to Victorias Secret anyway. I have to give Bath and Body Works props on this one. Yes, it was wall to wall shoppers and there was a 30 minute line to pay, but this store was under control. Several helpful employees were helping find items for customers, extra staff was stocking candles and 7 Cashiers were ringing up huge purchases , sometimes a few at a time so customers could use multiple coupons at once. Add in the manager approving the " I forgot my coupon" squeelers with a small discount to keep it all smooth and you have a well oiled machine with 0 visibly frazzled employees. I must say that they are doing a spectacular job with their pandemic protocols. I was really impressed. This location had it all down to a science. It all starts as you first enter the store. They have you enter from the opening closest to the food court. You're not allowed to enter on the other side which is now marked as the exit point. There is someone to greet you, and they have you choose one of the variety of hand sanitizers to use right before you even enter the store. Then, you pick your size of shopping bag or receptacle for larger purchases. There's also many sales reps waiting to answer any questions you may have on any of their products. I immediately asked where the CO Bigelow products are, but sadly they only had one item left. It was a let down, but I quickly recovered. I did find some great hand sanitizers that didn't smell overly perfumed. The Sunshine & Lemons always has a nice fresh scent. It goes on strong, but mellows out after it dries. I got the full sized bottle and a mini one. The floors are marked with directional arrows and signs. Everyone had their masks on and kept their distance. It was all very sanitary and safe. The check out was also a breeze. The staff at the checkout point are all behind plexiglass shields. There were at least 5 checkout points. You need to wait until they call you because they immediately have someone come over and spray down the counter after each person leaves. It's all very efficient. I can tell you it made me feel better. I actually feel a little more comfortable going to the mall after this experience. Thank you Bath & Body Works for making it easier & safer! read more

My review is for an online purchase, NOT the Brandon store. The Brandon store is my favorite. I placed an online order for 43.37. The orders arrived and the soap from one of the bottles was all over the inside of my box and all the items inside the box. I ordered 2 soaps and 3 boxed candles. The candles were gifts. I called as soon as I opened the box to report what had happened. They told me they would resend the items. They also said to expect an email in 10-15 minutes. The email never showed up. I called again on January 6th, the next day to explain what had happened and that I never received the email. He said he would put notes on the computer, he gave me a ticket# and said he would expedite the replacement order. I waited 2 days and never got the order. I called on the 8th and talked to a 3rd person. She listened and said I could receive a credit. I told her the credit card I used was comprised and the card wad canceled. She put in a credit and I told her I'd rather have the order. She looked online and she said my items were unavailable. She said i could choose 2 different soaps and 3 single wick candles so I did. She wanted me to give her a new VISA card number. I wasn't comfortable charging 43.37 again. She told me she would discount it to 35 dollars (and some change). I told her No. I called my bank and they told me I would have to start a dispute to get my credit. She gave me a new order# and said if I changed my mindi could call back and get the new order for 35 dollars and change. I called today January 9th for the 4th time. The lady was very rude and she WOULD NOT get a supervisor for me. I told her I would place the new order for the 5 different scents for the 35. Dollars and some change. She refused to give me 35 dollar price for the order I was on the phone for about 45 minutes. I refused her 41.00 offer. She was very rude. She said she listened to my call from the 8th and told me the lady never offered me a 35.00 charge. She did offer me a 35. Dollar and some change offer. I shop A LOT ONLINE WITH Bath and Body Works. I was planning a trip up North to visit my Mom and Dad and wanted to bring Mom the soaps she loves so much. She is getting up there in the years, so I like to bring her things that are hard for her to get. Besides, I was running low on my own soap supplies, too. This is a very nice clean store with beautiful products and friendly and helpful employees. I bought some soaps for both of us, and a few tiny candles. PRO TIP: I love to take a tiny little candle with me when I travel to burn in my hotel room. It makes it feel a bit more warm and cozy. You can get your soaps in regular form, or my preferred form...foaming. I just love the way they feel so silky. This time I just duplicated for my Mom what I bought for myself. She and I are very close and we like a lot of the same things. Must be because we are both Aries? I don't know! The retail sales people are eager to show you the differences in all their products and will even assist you in trying out the soaps at their testing sink, so you find just the perfect scents to your particular liking. So this time I chose Sea Island Cotton (an old favorite), and three new ones: Limoncello, Blushing Tulips & Peonies, French Lavender, and two tiny candles: Sugared Peony Petals and Fresh Cut Lilacs. I've been here quite a few times, including the semi-annual sale, and I usually have a great experience. They usually have most of the items I go in for in stock (yay!). One thing that I noticed during the semi-annual sale though was that this store was more expensive on certain items than the store by me.. When there is a sale this place is ALWAYS crowded but this store manages to move the lines in an efficient amount of time. Sign up for their email club and you'll always have coupons coming in daily and that'll get u back into the store! It's kind of like you should never checkout here without a coupon or an incentive. You can always google one as well. It's always great to shop their semi-annual sales which happens like twice a year. I stock up on assorted soaps, wallflowers, lotions, etc. The staff is friendly as well which makes the experience more worthwhile. They always ask if you need help/assistance as soon as you walk into the door. Overall, one of the better Bath and Body Works that I've been to. read more

Brandon Mall! First let me start by saying, that I love their wallflowers. Today was the 2 day that I stepped into Bath & body works & the place was insane. I've asked the associate to point me in the direction of the Japanese Cherry Blossom wallflowers. I also tried to make conversation with her in reference to their pricing, I asked her if the wallflowers we're all $3.00 and she replied is such a nasty tone. I understand that today was a busy day with it being the one day candle sale but someone still needs to answer the damn phone. I had already visited the two stores up in Wesley Chapel and was trying to find the Leaves candle. This location is close to my house so I tried calling to see if they had it so I could swing by on my way home and no one answered. So I called every other location in the Tampa Bay Area and all of them answered the first ring. All of the stores advised they were sold out of Leaves and even checked in the back as I waited on hold. I decided to head towards this location and just keep trying to call and see if they answer before I get there so I can know if I need to stop by or not. The phone would disconnect after about 3 mins of holding for the next available rep... no one answered. I kept calling and no answers. Called probably close to 10 times and no answer. I decide fine I'll go in and see if they have it. I go there and ask if they do and I'm told no that they sold out if it within 15 minutes of being open. I then advised I had been on the phone for the past 30 min trying to get through to see if that was available since it was the only scent I wanted. I didn't receive an apology, all I was told is that "oh we're really busy today and I don't think anyone is answering the phones today". That's not proper customer service at all. This is one of my favorite places in the whole world! Their lotions and body washes are the best there are. I love their staple scents and the seasonal ones are amazing and refreshing too! The foaming body scrub is one of the best things they sell and even though the products are kind of expensive off sale, when you get them on their semi annual sale or the buy three get three, it's a great deal! I recently got $230 worth of products for $80! By shopping the semi annual sale and finding a coupon online! The associates at this location are always awesome and very nice. They don't hover around you and always make you feel welcomed and happily help you with anything you need. read more

The cashier was rude and told me in order to use my coupon I couldn't add anything to my purchase to meet my $30.00 before I received $10 off and That I would have to stand back in the line that was almost out the door after I already stood in it for 20 minutes. Came to get gifts and check out candles but turned into an employee yelling at me and snatching away a product. It was all alone in front of others and opened so assuming it was a tester I sampled some. She screamed at me across the entire store that it was not a tester and snatched it off the shelf. She said other things but I had my wife with me to keep me calm. I wish the people who needed these gifts wanted something else. She needs to learn better customer service. Will just order online next time. Horrible experience. You can not treat people any old way just because you're having a bad day. You can not take out your frustrations on a customer which is what this seemed like. I have shopped on this store many times and never been treated that way. Why didn't she fell at the other people who did the same exact thing? Why did she only yell at me? This is why people think some of your employees are racist and/or homophobic. You can not pick and choose who you treat badly. Treat everyone with the same respect. read more
