I had a cancelation from my online pick up order and I'm so grateful I mentioned how bummed I was that the 2 items I really wanted were canceled. Luckily he knew the store like the back of his hand and was able to find me the 2 canceled items. I decided to do some in store shopping and made a second purchase. I love visiting this store in Plaza Bonita, with or without coupons. The salespeople are very patient and helpful. I shop here maybe 2-3 times a month with or without coupons. The people who helped me last time I was there Friday after work 01/24/25 are Brenda, the manager , Diana at the Sales floor and Aileen at the register. These location and the one in Chula Vista Mall are nice unlike the store in Eastlake. This is where I usually shop for lotion, body spray and gifts. Give this crew free lunch. read more

I'd hate to give this place a bad review since the majority of the employees were nice. However, it only took one person to ruin the experience. This medium-set older lady with glasses gave us so much attitude while ringing us up. We visited today (12/29) around 2 PM. First, she told us with a sharp tone, "Just put in your phone number, then I'll help you!" We took a little time figuring out which rewards and offers to use, and she started rolling her eyes and sighing heavily, as if we were inconveniencing her. When I asked if she wanted to scan the barcode on my phone, she replied with so much attitude, "I already did that!" At that point, I told her to tone down her attitude because we were there to make a purchase, not to be treated rudely. She looked at me, stormed off to the back, and asked a colleague to ring us up. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. The new cashier claimed she didn't know that lady, saying she was new to the store. The new person who helped us kept apologizing for the first lady's rudeness. I was so upset I was shaking. That woman is incredibly rude and in the wrong field if that's how she treats customers. I came today early this morning when they opened. I am a mom of a small infant, so I wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible. Black Friday sale: They were having their sale of buy three get three free, there was also a discount for the people who came before noon. Shortly after I got home, I realized that I wasn't discounted on one of the items so there for messed up the entire sale on my receipt. I had a feeling I over paid. I called the store and asked if I came the next day, if they would honor the discount since I cannot make it back to the store today because I have small children. I was told over the phone that there was no guarantee that they would honor the discount because the Black Friday sale Would have ended. So I made time to come back tonight, on Black Friday, when everyone else is out with my small infant. When I entered the store, I was greeted, I also explained what had happened earlier. I was told that I had to wait in the line if I wanted my receipt fixed with my discount. I told her that the mistake was made by the store and I shouldn't have to wait in the long line with my small child. She just said I'm sorry. My small infant screamed the entire time when I was in the long black Friday line. People were starring and very rude as my child screamed and screamed. When I finally got to the front of the line to the register they apologized and tried to fix my receipt. As I was heading out of the door. I realized that they didn't give me the full discount again!! I went back to the register and showed them, and they said that extra discount was for people who came before noon! I had to explain to them I did come before noon! I'm just here now, because I didn't get the other discount! It took three transactions, three people, a screaming, baby, waiting in line, for them to give me my before noon discount and black Friday discount. Unbelievable service! I will not be returning to this location. I was embarrassed. Basic math is not their strong suit. The employees even made a remarks like: "Oh, she (my infant) needs a nap." They made me wait in a really long line for a mistake they made TWICE. read more

This one we had gladly visited as it was in our old neighborhood (sort of). I found the store like any other typical store, but that also includes a helpful staff, decent Holiday music in the background and well thought out static displays of merch. We came for the body lotion sale and to check out the outside mall area it's located in. It was worth the trip! read more

I love going to BBW but I usually end up spending more money than I expect. This was my first visit to the CV Center location. I came in to redeem my birthday body care item as well as look for a particular scent of a candle. I found out that the candle scent I wanted - Chestnut & Clove - was a Fall (seasonal) item and would no longer be stocked until next year. :( I was helped my Neith. She was super helpful and offered to call two other locations to check their inventory for me. Unfortunately, neither location had the scent but I appreciated the extra effort she made to call. She was also great with the customers ahead of me in line. I wish all customer service associates were as accommodating as Neith. She informed that seasonal items are released one month before the season begins and usually are sold for only three months. Wish I knew this earlier when I previously bought the scent I fell in love with. I would have stocked up then. Lesson learned for the future. The majority of the BBW locations carry the same items. It is the associates, location and busyness that set them apart from one another. Knowing the wonderful service that Neith provided to me, I will be returning to this location. read more

Came in here to buy some soap for the bathroom. They had a sale for 50% off soaps or 6 for $24. That is a great deal, so hubby picked up some soaps. I love the way the store smells when I walk in. You can also sample some soap at the sink & rinse your hands. The lady working the front was friendly & had lots of energy. We will definitely be back for more soap when we run out. read more

My sister and I went in on Saturday Morning for the 3 wick candle sale. There was a line wrapped around the building. They made it very safe for us to shop using the appropriate Covid protocols. All the employees at the store were very friendly. The door greeter did a great job counting the people going in and out, giving us our shopping bags and sanitizer. She was very up beat. Everyone at the store was really helpful. A special shout out goes to the store manager Carlos who was very efficient. I loved it when the first thing that he did when he came in was introduce himself to a the people waiting in line. He Told us about the covid guidelines, the store selection and even when there was a shift change. Once we made it inside I noticed what a great manger you have in Carlos. He checked with all of his associates and made sure everyone was taking their breaks and lunches. They had just gotten a new shipment in and everyone was busy restocking. One of the associates had a minor paper cut and the associate told him it was no biggie. But Carlos wouldn't accept that and made sure she got off the floor and put a bandaid on. What a good manager! He made sure all the customers were being taken care of and the floor was also running smooth in a rapid floor environment. He even opened a couple of boxes of the new candles that I was looking at. Thank you Carlos and your whole team for not letting a busy floor get to you or customers. You made it a very pleasant shopping experience. read more
