Then you sit down and the staff gathers your scents and lets you smell them together and makes recommendations for which ones go together best but ultimately it is your choice. I made a body lotion. I tried it today. It's light and absorbs nicely. You can definitely smell it but I wouldn't personally cal it overpowering. It was a fun experience. Note that this is not a "class". They don't teach you to make the candles and whatnot. They help you come up with an individualized scent for them and then you do get to mix it all together.

The sales associate was very welcoming and kind. I was window shopping and the alluring smells led me to purchase some wax melts since I was visiting with only a carryon bag. I had no space for all of the candle jars that I wanted to buy. My favorite scent is the Seaside Plumeria. In terms of value, scented candles are a luxury. I find these are slightly more expensive than Bed Bath and Beyond candles that I usually stock up on durin sale. Approximately $30 for a single wick candle could be deemed expensive, when you could get a triple wick candle for the same price. Would I purchase again? Definitely! My home doesn't smell like millions of other homes. Go treat yourself to something divine. You deserve it. It's self care.

In all seriousness, I've appreciated Yankee Candle for this company's innovation and it always seems like its one step ahead when it comes to inventing new scents (seasonal or otherwise) and it's hard to beat the accessories it offers customers to keep those candles burning safely! I got started with Yankee years ago while looking for a gift and ran across a candle with an "ocean breeze" scent. My first became my all time favorite - though it's called "beach walk" now. For the Holidays, anything with evergreen, Alpine, cedar, and - I can't forget mistletoe! :0 are among my faves as well. Yet, we all have our own bests when it comes to the many scents Yankee offers. The service is wonderful and the sales associates are warm and friendly. The store is larger than some other Yankee Candle stores and has many great products. I am allergic to a lot of floral scents, they have so many scents to choose from, there is something for anyone who wants their home or car to smell warm and welcoming. Their candles are far superior to most candles on the market. The tarts are great as are the tea lights and they are usually on sale. I love the wooden wick candles that crackle when you burn them. They also have wall plugins and car scents. They even have room sprays and gel beads for small rooms. The vases and jars holding the candles are all wonderful and they have accessories to hold the candles which are great for home decorating, especially around the holidays. The scenterpiece items are fantastic! I am newly addicted and in love! I love the fall scents that fill up my home. The scenterpieces come in many unique designs that fit any home design. Step 1 - Choose your scent. We picked oils from a choice of over 90+ varieties. For my candle, I picked Black Sea, Deep Sea, and Exotic Oud. For the reed diffuser, I picked White Tea and Yuzu. Mah Wife chose Cypress, Hotel Lux, and Sea Breeze. For her essential oils dropper, she went with Verbena and White Tea. Step 2 - Choose your vessel. As mentioned we both chose a candle, a reed diffuser, and oil dropper. We combined our chosen scents into 1 oz or 2 oz portions and poured them into their appropriate vessels. Step 3 - Wait. The candles take a couple of hours to harden and set, so we did some shopping and came back to pick them up. The oil dropper and diffuser you can take immediately. Step 4 - Enjoy! We love these scents and because we made them, those scents are not available anywhere else and are completely unique. Wick is a fun experience for a date night or group outing and would highly recommend.

Since the online ordering format had changed and only showed a flyer with price points and descriptions instead of actual arrangement photos, I decided to call in for assistance. Unfortunately, the person who answered my call Saturday morning was extremely rude, condescending, and unpleasant. I was very disappointed, especially after supporting Kuhn's for so many years. To be treated that way during such an important holiday was truly disheartening. Because of that experience, I decided to order from Dinsmore Florist instead. Their website allowed me to see actual photos of the flowers I was ordering, and they delivered my mom's flowers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. They have now gained a new customer. It is very disappointing that after more than 20 years of giving Kuhn's my floral business, one negative and disrespectful interaction has caused me to take my business elsewhere.
