I am on there app as a preferred customer and get notifications about sales. There was one for wallflowers 3.95. Plus had a 25% off coupon. They always took the offer. Now they don't they have different prices, and won't apply the 25% off coupon, they use too. Won't be shopping there again. This is a bait and switch situation. False advertisement! What changed. Placed an overnight order for pick up and was worried they might not pack it during the opening tasks and allow all the paid product to be sold to others. Luckily they were on top of it and the queue was handled well! When I went in to pick up the order they were welcoming and helped me find a couple more items as well. The ladies where really helpful today 8/24 at 4 pm. The lady working in the front, Asian American "Wendy" was extremely rude. Was touching my phone without asking me especially during covid that is gross. She started scanning stuff on my account that I did not want scanned. Terrible attitude. Luckily The blonde and the other gal were extremely sweet and helpful they are the only reason I will return. Wendy needs a better attitude or find another job. Very clean store - walked in today and it was pretty busy around 1 - I had to do an exchange on two lotions- little line only one girl checking all of us out while there was about 4 girls working hard getting bags out from back for new promotion starting that were going on carts for upcoming days . Would have been nice to have one more girl checking us out but it's okay - over all 4 stars for service and the girl that helped me was nice it was quick and I was out. I stopped by to redeem a reward (I'm in the My Bath & Body Works Rewards Program) and was greeted immediately and asked if I needed any help. I used one of the hand sanitizers by the door and wandered around looking at all the selections. I had a question about when their Vanilla Bean Noel scent would be back in store and an employee told me it would come back in the beginning of November. Quantity deals (i.e. Buy 3, get 2 Free, etc) and lots of scents were available. Among these were Fall and Halloween themed scents, such as Vampire Blood (mild, sweet, and pleasant), and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles (super sweet). Bath & Body Works brings out tons of new scents every year, and discontinues many of them. Some of the discontinued fragrances wind up on their website, or return at their Semi Annual Sales. In years past, the nomenclature of their fragrances was less mysterious. Names such as Country Apple, Cucumber Melon, Pearberry, and Sun-Ripened Raspberry abounded, making it easy to imagine how these lotions, shower gels, and other goods would smell. In the present day, perusing around the store, I saw names like Sunset Glow, Into the Night, A Thousand Wishes, Gingham, Sunrise Yoga, and Beautiful Day. Without actually trying the fragrances (i.e. spraying one of their tester cards with a Fine Fragrance Mist or Eau de Parfum), or reading the description of the scent notes on the back of the products, I would have no idea what they smell like. What works best for me is to spray a fragrance on my wrist, or to spray interesting looking ones on the paper cards provided for that purpose on the shelves. In addition to the hand sanitizers by the entrance, there is also a sink inside the store with hand soaps and paper towels for customer use. I didn't experience any pressure to buy during my visit. When I told the cashier I was just going to redeem my reward, she didn't mind at all. I ended up getting the Sunset Glow Fine Fragrance Mist. I like the light, pleasant scent, which has coconut and moonflower notes. I almost bought Into the Night (described in some online reviews as similar to Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent), but was unsure as the scent was bolder than what I typically buy. The check out experience seemed safe: there was a plexiglass barrier through which the cashier scanned my phone's rewards information. I would recommend this Bath & Body Works location. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 because of some disappointing experiences in the past, and the fact that I've had better experiences at the Newport Beach Fashion Island store. The Laguna Niguel location is still very good. The customer service has improved and the employees were helpful and sweet. read more

At every other bath and body works they will honor the coupons on the app but this is the second time I've come in there and they give me a hard time about the current promotions. Kelly helped us the other day and I genuinely felt like she was more interested in a sale than in my customer satisfaction. Just went by the store for the 2nd time this evening. Great customer service here, and like Mimi says the male manager is fantastic. He's so sweet and helpful. I wish I'd gotten his name. Anyhow, he does a good job of leading by example because the rest of the staff is helpful and friendly too. And enthusiastic about their product! They were all eager to help. A major pet peeve of mine is when I walk into a store and it's slow, so the staff is all standing around talking. NOT so in this store. It was kind of slow (almost closing I think) but the staff was cleaning up, straightening, and replenishing the displays instead of just standing around making me feel like I'm interrupting their break lol. This store is immaculately clean, and pretty large for a non-flagship location. I couldn't locate a product but they found it in the back for me within just a couple of minutes. Overall I had a very pleasant experience, spent too much money (lol) and will definitely come back. They send out coupons a lot, and when you go in to the store they give you MORE coupons. :) read more

On Nov 5, 2019 I went in to buy a few things. I overheard the staff talking badly about another staff member that they didn't like after they had left the store. They went on forever and it was very easily heard by anyone in the store. I was the only one in there so I guess they assumed it wasn't that risky to talk about other employees and about a customer that irritated them as well. I took a photo intending to send it directly to the store manager, but could not find any contact info. It was so inappropriate that I thought I would let the manager know vs getting on Yelp to tell everyone, but I went back today and it was even worse. I picked up an item that was in the 75% off section along with many more of the exact same item. It was obvious that I had picked it up there and hadn't found it in the wrong spot. The clerk was awful when I mentioned that it accidentally rang up for more. One of the staff said, "Don't worry we'll fix it" in a super condescending voice. I am in there shopping, in a super good mood, and get treated like I am a nuisance. I hope the manager or whomever needs to know can get the place under control. I won't be going back so it doesn't matter to me, but hopefully it helps the managing staff. read more

This is one of my favorite BBW because it's not part of a mall, it's always well kept, and has the most amazing and friendly staff! Customer service and items' display are excellent at this store. With fall around the corner I was shopping here for new fall fragrances, and Brandi was amazingly helpful. She picked the best candles for me, showed me how to get a discount, all in the most friendly and helpful manner possible. She even showed me how to use my iPhone for certain features! :-) Her customer service was A PLUS! Because they are a smaller store sometimes they run out of popular scents and products. They don't always have the variety as some of the larger stores have.
