I was walking around looking for pants I needed for my son. The location changed. I see two guys talking and not even looking at me so of course they don't work there. Literally circled them looking for almost 5 min. I did find what I needed but as I am walking up I see one go behind the counter and the other laughing with him and has a badge. The guy with the I love MILFS shirt checked me out (not the two who ignored me on the floor)and was very polite. I almost walked out because no service and two guys laughing and ignoring me. They had plenty of changes to notice me. You're working. Maybe pay attention to the customers. There are plenty of Tilly's in the area. Will be a while before I choose this one read more

Today we went to this Tillys location, and it was kind of a last minute thing. We came in at 6:30 pm, (Store closes at 7 pm on Sundays) thinking our daughter would have enough time to pick a quick outfit for tomorrow... well... I guess we all know how that went. I kept hurrying her up, nicely jajaja... Finally 7:05pm we were at the register paying. The cashier and staff were still very friendly and making lots of conversation with us, us we were paying! I'm sorry we kept you guys a little after closing time! Now I definitely know, Don't take your daughter to get a "quick" outfit 30 minutes before a store closes. I don't feel this place represented surf, skate culture the way it use to. The clothing here isn't good, it seems like a walmart really. I am surprised at the low ratings this store is receiving. I shop here quite often and have never had any problems with any of the staff members. The young guys that work here have always greeted me in the store and have helped answer any questions I may have had. I personally feel that I've received better service here than I have had in other Tilly's branches (specifically, recently their Canoga Park branch). I shop here and utilize their online site for extra inventory items, which are not always carried in their store. Especially when they have a big sale or a discount on their shipping from their site. I rarely shop here for my daughters anymore due to poor customer service but saw a sidewalk sale and thought, maybe I'll check it out & give it another shot only to see 5 people behind the counter and only one person helping customers in line. When asked why the others weren't helping, I was told they were busy with inventory stuff. RealIy? I suppose customer service is no longer important to this company. I have shopped often at Tilly's, and my kids love the clothing and shoes ! I have ordered online and packages have come in the past ! However, I ordered an expensive Nixon watch that went on sale and it never came ! So I have been emailing, calling, trying to chat online with Tilly's and no one answers ! On hold for 60 minutes and emails say they will get back in 24 hours and never do ! My order was Nov. 27, 2017 and no watch or reply from Tilly's! I am disputing the charge ! Unprofessional handled by them ! RSM location it is not your fault just needed to let buyer online beware ! Well now it is March and in February I spoke with a Tilly's headquarters supervisor and she help me with the situation ! The salespeople and management are consistently friendly and helpful. Plus, the prices are reasonable too!

Today's Manager didn't provide the best answer or solution for unacceptable policy. Finally, provided a suitable solution if something doesn't fit after a long period of time. Friendly and knowledgeable but no sincerity, not attentive and should've provided a faster solution. Why did the conversation have to go for that long? Horrible customer service! I went in today with my two small children (2 1/2 and 1 years old) to look for some sandals. I was greeted politely as I entered and told where the sandals were. I was also told if I didn't find my size on the floor to let them know and they would look in the back. Well I found a pair of sandals and couldn't find my size. I went up to the front and let the same greeter know I needed help so she paged assistance. The young man was nice enough but said it was his first day so he couldn't check the back but did say according to the system my size was in stock. He needed the girl ringing up guests in the front to check the back for me. I said ok and he said he would be right back. About 5 minutes later he came back and told me to go to Ladera Ranch store instead. Apparently easier on them to have me load up my two small children and drive another 15 minutes just unload the kids and take them in another store then for someone to go in the back and find my size. How on earth is that helpful! Needless to say I went someplace else and bought my sandals from a different company. read more

Tilly's is interesting. I would go in the store a lot but unfortunately every time I go in I feel like Im being watched! It is almost like everywhere you turn the employees are their making sure you are ok. I understand that customer service is key. I have worked retail before and know that the customer experience is a key factor to a great business and company. However, there are extremes in every situation! I feel as though this Tilly's goes a little overboard. I don't think the employee's are the problem. Maybe it is the rules they have to follow! The store is fine, but I am displeased with the management. One of the employees knows me out of work and had threatened to have me harmed multiple times, while also screaming at me in store on multiple occasions that I harass them even though I actually avoid her at all costs. I had brought it up to management and showed proof of the threats but apparently she is still working there. When I used to shop here years ago I had to stop because of the snobby employees that worked here. They had the worst customer service and always took years just to come back to the dressing room to unlock a room for you to try stuff on. This by far is the worst Tillys. I went in the store with a original receipt and wanted to return two pairs of jeans. I always have to order online because they never have my sons size he did not like the jeans so I brought them back when returning them the gentleman scanned the receipt and then looked and said I've never seen this before it says it found your receipt but no items can be returned. He called the little girl over he said she was the manager and she said I've never seen this. So I said can you over ride this I don't understand I have the original receipt and I was in the amount of time to return this obviously this is a glitch on your part. The gentleman did nothing to help me pushed the one 800 number on me and told me I had to call it. I left the store the next day I called and the lady that helped me did not understand why they did not override this for me I said I wanted to file a complaint with the District manager she said she would take care of that and I would be emailed by the manager still waiting for that email. So I called the one 800 number again the next day asked what to do he told me they should've overrode that in the store and helped me. I told him I did not want to return these in the mail and have to go through all that trouble when I have a Tillys that's two seconds for me I have an original receipt and I just want to return the two jeans it was such a fiasco when I went back in it took forever The worst customer service I have ever had anywhere and I'm still waiting for that DM to email me. Absolutely appalling. Jack (redish blonde hair) was so rude. He had the WORST attitude I've ever witnessed in retail. I work for a retail chain that prides itself on customer service. NOBODY greated me, nobody helped me and then I was given horrible service at the register. My kids love the clothing here but unfortunately the service is horrendous! If it let me give zero stars I would of rated them a big ZERO! Upper management really needs to fix this issue: before they start losing sales! I went in today with my teen- shopping for his birthday. The girl at the dressing room was one of the most ignorant rude people I have encountered at this store. I don't know why they would hire someone without a friendly personality. This girl was so blunt and obnoxious. Every time she spoke she was snappy and rude, half the time she disappeared when we needed help or had questions. After we paid and left I saw her dancing in the front of the store with a male associate. The cashiers demeanor was rude and snappy as well. She seemed to only be interested in rushing so she could get home. After spending $170, I told my son he needs to find another place to shop. I don't mind spending the money at all, the bad service and rudeness I will not tolerate and will spend my money somewhere else! It's completely ridiculous for management to ignore the prior reviews!
