I got an email from Bath & Body Works about their candles being on sale for the Fall season and I got excited! I ran the discount past one of my best friends who is a math teacher and she said that it was a go! After work, I went to the nearest Bath & Body Works closest to my job and it just so happened to be this one. I walk in and was immediately greeted by a very nice sales woman. I asked her about the promo that was going on and she told me that it was expired but she would honor it anyway. My first thought was, how is it expired when I got the email today? And secondly, I have been to Bath & Body Works sales before and know that the promos don't expire until 3 days after... Anywho, when I arrived it was messy in the store because she seemed to be stocking the shelves when I got there. She was also the only person who worked the register so I guess it's safe to say that she was there alone. Although the store was a little messy it still doesn't merit anything less than 5 stars! Time for their yearly semi- annual sale . The entire store is up to 75% off. The sales people were friendly and helpful. And even though the store was packed and crawling with customers somehow the store was still very neat and organized. I hadn't been to this particular location before because I tend to go out of my area for a higher stock of product. This location didn't disappoint to be honest. The staff at this location was awesome and very helpful. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the aroma therapy Eucalyptus and Spearmint bubble bath rocks. I stopped by mainly to take advantage of the $6.50 sell on the aroma therapy line. It smells so good but it does cost ya. I'm going to have to admit that I have found a new shopping addiction when it comes to BBW. This location was pretty big to be in the mall. I was excited when I saw this shop inside the newly renovated Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall. I was not aware there was a bath and Bodyworks in here. I came in here looking for more smell goods for my home. I was hoping that I would be able to find some suitable fragrances to purchase. The one fragrance I really love by Bath and Bodyworks is called peach Bellini but Bath and Bodyworks discontinued it last summer. I walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee. I asked her if they have peach Bellini thinking she would tell me know like every other location has. To my surprise she actually told me to follow her. I followed her to a candle section where she show me the newly designed label for peach Bellini - I almost cried LOL. This is the best fragrance they have ever made in my opinion. I knew that I would be buying a ton of these candles to last me a while. The employee also help me find other different fragrances I want it for my house but it didn't matter to me at that point I was just in pure ecstasy and ecstatic that my beloved fragrance was back. Even at the cash register I had a great customer service experience. The employee taking my payment walked me through when the best sales would be and how to maximize the coupons I had for Bath and Bodyworks. Simply put the employees at this store are awesome. This is also a large bath and Bodyworks store because not all are built the same size. I will gladly come back here for more shopping and more peach Bellini candles!! :) read more

I placed an online order on November 30, 2018 for candles and received them on December 7th and when I open my box the small boxes that the sit in was broke so I go and pull my candles out to find broken glass in my box come to find out I had a few candles broken and also cutting my finger in the process, so I called customer service and they never picked up after been on hold for over 45min. So I hung up and called back for them to say they not taking no more calls to call back again..now what kind of customer service is this? They had a candle sale & I was so happy because other locations were running out. The one customer service associate Maricela (I think) was very helpful and seemed very sweet. The cashier at the desk seemed sad or depressed because shee looked as if she didnt want to either be there or she looked as if she didnt want to assist me. The Customer Service is excellent here, the employees greet you when you enter the store, they act like they're happy that you came in there to shop. My experience with this store started with a gift card that I had for a couple of years, I found it in my drawer and kept putting it back in the drawer. I smelled this beautiful fragrance on a friend and asked her what she was wearing and she said it was a stress relief lotion from Bath and Body Works. She said she wears it to work because it really works and she wears another one that helps you fall asleep and said it works as well. So of course I had to come and get some for myself. I have not used mine yet, however I have told a lot of ladies about it and I have been coming back ever since. Each time I share my friends story about the stress relief lotion and the one for sleeping, I have to return to the store to purchase one for them. Another girlfriend told me to use the hand soap and lotions in my bathrooms, however I am addicted to William Sonoma hand soap and lotion sets, but I am trying it in my kitchen as they said it is easy on your hands and keeps them soft. It took two girlfriends to made me appreciate and use my gift card. I am now a believer and have been buying it for other girlfriends and my nieces. The best part is they have so many cute little things and they are very affordable. Become a giver, this store makes it affordable to become a givergiver. Went to purchase some Christmas gifts for the coworkers, enjoyed the christmassy atmosphere with music as I shopped, but watch out for the thieves and scammers. I was in line to purchased and once I reached my turn and went to punch in my PIN number there was a female Hispanic looking over my shoulder for my PIN Number. When I sensed this, I turned to my right to look at her and she just smiled, but I didn't reciprocate. I heard her repeat my PIN number to her male companion as I walked away, so before I left I asked one of the employees what could a thief do with someone's PIN number without the card info and she politely said nothing since they don't have the card info.. I also confirmed that with my bank. So why was she that close to me in line in the first place? This has happened or something similar, for instance, while standing in line make sure your purse is closed so the pickpocketers can't dip into it, didn't happen to me but if I wasn't alert, it would had. I dislike how closely people stand behind while making a transaction. Bath and body should protect their customers by having someone keep the line at a safe distance for the customer to comfortably make transactions without the fear of stolen identity, etc. Although the customer service person may had witness this because I turned around to check this person while in the mist of making my transaction, she was the only person working the line so she just kept working it. The products were mostly gone and/or picked over on a weekday evening, I was lucky to get to pick some descent gifts. read more

Today was my second time shopping at this location and now my last time as well. I walked in and the girl who was working the floor didn't greet me or asked if I was finding everything okay, but would ask those who would come in after me. When I asked her a question, she made an annoyed face towards me. When I went to the register to purchase, I was "helped" by a short, chubby fair-skinned woman with light hair. I made my purchase at 1:02pm with cashier 1696708 at register 002. She was beyond rude. She literally threw all 6 of my items into the bag which she had not done with the customer before me. This had never happened to me at other locations, I don't know what her problem was. Usually items are placed in the bag at this store, at any store! I work retail, so I know when something is not done correctly. I will also be contacting Bath & Body Works directly about this inappropriate service. I hope this is brought to their attention because no customer should be treated as I was today. read more
