They give you ideas for how to use your vessel after the candle is gone, but also they will refill your candle with wax as well for a discounted cost. They have such a cute little store area for extra take homes. They have a bar with drinks and snacks for you to enjoy as you make your candle. Note you do have to come back later for pick up. LOL) but we had a snafu with mother nature that made us reschedule to March 9th, 2025 for 2 pm. Neither of us had been here before but I have taken candle making classes in another state. We arrived and were able to park right in front. Jennifer, the owner immediately came downstairs (it's 2 floors) and told us to start smelling some candles to kind of get an idea fo what we wanted when we got upstairs to the workshop. The downstairs is a very cutesy, boutique style shop with of course candles, gifts, greeting cards, candle accessories, drinking glasses, sticker, you name it. Even her displays and decor was oh so cute I could not stop looking at it or complimenting her!. I kinda already knew/know what kind of scents I like but my friend took a little longer to figure it out so I of course found more things to purchase lol. Once my friend was done, we went upstairs to the workshop. Oh gosh, upstairs is just as cute if not MORE!. It had a full size kitchen, the workshop area and a middle seating area with a couch and other decor. If you want, you can bring food and drinks to the glass. Once upstairs she had a place set up for me and my friend with everything we would need to make a candle. We both decided we wanted two candles once we were there as well. You prepay for the class for 1 and we added an additional. She went thru the many scents she has to choose from and ways to layer them. She also offer different vessels if you want to upgrade from the original one you get with the glass. Prices were very, very reasonable I thought on everything, even the gift items. A bigger group of ladies came in about 30 min after us and she worked with both of us. Me and my friend ended up being there about 2 hours total, but I think normal time is about an hour. You do have to go back and get your candle once it sets or she can ship it to you. I opted to go pick ours up because I was off later in the week anyway. This is a great place to have a little fun and an amazing place if you love candles like I do. I highly recommend coming here if only for the gifts. Definitely a great date night or activity to do with friends! The candle was ready a few hours later, so you can definitely walk around the area or grab a bite and then go back and pick it up. but we went back the next day to pick it up. Highly recommend if you're looking for an hour long activity in the Gulch!

I decided to leave the store, and go buy her a less personal gift like a gift card. But then... (and I wish I knew the name of the girl who helped me, because she was magnificent!!), as I continued to walk out of the store, with probably a defeated look on my face, she stopped me and asked "Did you decide not to buy that?" After I told her no, I didn't think it would be the perfect gift, she practically walked me through the whole store helping me find the perfect scent/gift. This girl is an absolute gem to this store! The only reason I have to come down from a 5 star review is because of the price of the candles. I walked out $65 later, and really didn't feel like what I bought was worth that price. In the end though, the friend LOVED what I picked out, so all is well :)

Went to the one in the avenue today in TN. Terrible I had 2 coupons that my mom gave me under her…read moreaccount and so I went in to get 1 free full size body care with 1 coupon and 20% off from the other coupon. I had my 2 perfumes ready to check out when one of the employees told me I can get another 1 for free and I asked if it would work with the coupons I have and she said yes. So I went and grabbed another perfume and I went up to check out and they tried telling me the free one didn't work and said it was already used it wasn't so I made sure with my mom that she didn't use it. And now there are 2 employees trying to help and the older one that I didn't start with started raising her voice and tried the next register and it worked and then went on to say that the free one from by 2 get 1 free wouldn't fall under the free one with the coupon so I went to get the another one which I didn't want and I only grabbed another one cause another employee told me it told work. And the older one would not allow me to speak at all and she would refuse to let me say to take one of them out. This is a terrible store and over the years their customer service and employees have gotten rude and entitled. Dont recommend going anymore.​​​​​​​​​​​
