She showed us around and explained that the candles are all eco friendly, and that you can bring in your empty jars to get refilled! She makes jarred candles, but also decorative varieties like tea cup candles, "beach" lanterns, and candle holders. I got the English Garden jar candle, and it comes with a local Lewes shell on it, so pretty! The candle smells amazing and has a slow burn, which is great! Love this little shop in Washington Street Mall! They have a ton of unique items ranging from…read morejewelry and accessories to home decor and books. Last year I had bought a canvas bag with piggies on it that I get so many compliments on! This year I returned for a wallet to accompany my purse but also found some adorable earrings and an absolutely beautiful children's book to gift. The gentleman who helped me during my last visit was the same from my first and was so very pleasant and helpful. He had grabbed new items still in plastic to replicate the items that I had taken from the shelf which I found so considerate. Definitely stop in if you are in the area! You are sure to find something that tickles your fancy!

She clearly gestured in my direction and said something along the lines of "like her" while I was the only shopper left in the store. It was also that she deliberately waited until the few other (need I say fully Caucasian) customers left to speak as if I wasn't RIGHT THERE that made me go, hmm, ok then. I was just casually browsing small gifts for my daughter and about to pick out a gorgeous wind chime afterwards. The fact that I had to physically turn around, look them in the eye and say hello *not cool* welp... I get shoplifting is tough on small businesses, but no excuse.
