She showed us around and explained that the candles are all eco friendly, and that you can bring in your empty jars to get refilled! She makes jarred candles, but also decorative varieties like tea cup candles, "beach" lanterns, and candle holders. I got the English Garden jar candle, and it comes with a local Lewes shell on it, so pretty! The candle smells amazing and has a slow burn, which is great! This year I returned for a wallet to accompany my purse but also found some adorable earrings and an absolutely beautiful children's book to gift. The gentleman who helped me during my last visit was the same from my first and was so very pleasant and helpful. He had grabbed new items still in plastic to replicate the items that I had taken from the shelf which I found so considerate. Definitely stop in if you are in the area! My husband does not like eggs....so he chose the breakfast cheesesteak. It is a ribeye cheesesteak with pimento cheese. It is usually topped with eggs and he ask that they be left off his sandwich. He also added jalapeños. The sandwich was generous and delicious! He also had home fries. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a Bloody Mary as well! Everything was delicious. The patron next to us ordered Nashville Hot Chicken which was served over a pile of French Toast. I think we will need to try that next time we make it to the Surfside Rooster!

The fact that I had to physically turn around, look them in the eye and say hello *not cool* welp... I get shoplifting is tough on small businesses, but no excuse.
