We went into sea shell city store today to look at all of the items for sale. They have a lot of…read morebeach themed signs, coasters, trinkets, etc. They have a huge selection of different Fenwick Island souvenirs to buy as well. The shop closes at 4pm on Friday, so just keep this in mind if you go. The prices were on some things were a little high, but expected for a beach shop. She showed us around and explained that the candles are all eco friendly, and that you can bring in your empty jars to get refilled! She makes jarred candles, but also decorative varieties like tea cup candles, "beach" lanterns, and candle holders. I got the English Garden jar candle, and it comes with a local Lewes shell on it, so pretty! The candle smells amazing and has a slow burn, which is great! The gentleman who helped me during my last visit was the same from my first and was so very pleasant and helpful. He had grabbed new items still in plastic to replicate the items that I had taken from the shelf which I found so considerate. Definitely stop in if you are in the area! We actually went in because my husband was curious. I almost didn't go in but I am so glad I did! Across the Way has lots of unique gifty items. I left with some cool things like a zipper pouch with a gnome on it, a tin that looks like a legit 1980s mixed tape and a Calico cat notepad. I also had fun looking at socks, books, cards, jewelry, candles and such. A lot of gift stores carry the same brands but I can tell that Across the Way has worked hard to differentiate their merchandise. Great stuff!

He also added jalapeños. The sandwich was generous and delicious! He also had home fries. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a Bloody Mary as well! Everything was delicious.
