We found Florango while trying to find locations in Palm Springs and the owner Karol was so friendly that we were very quickly talking in detail about what we were trying to accomplish. Long story short, not only did she help procure the flowers we needed and worked with us during the shoot on the arrangements, but she actually helped us research the meanings of flowers and came in ON HER DAY OFF so we could shoot while the shop was closed. I didn't realize we had the option of having the candle making party in our own place - how crazy fun is that?! We booked a Saturday 11:00 am candle making private party in our Airbnb and bought some tiny bites, and setup our mimosa bar! I also bought some flowers, and played some romantic French cafe music .... it was the perfect setting. Ciarra was a wonderful teacher ... very patient! She came early and set everything up for our candle making party. I have done some candle making before with the birthday girl actually, knew a little already but learned so much from Ciarra. It was so fun smelling all the different fragrances and learning how to blend them, and learning about adding colors / blending colors... Besides being so knowledgable, she is so patient and sweet! All of our candles turned out perfectly and we all bickered as to who had the better candle lol... Even my boyfriend who tried to get out of it at first, admitted he had a good time. It took longer than they promised and I had to call twice to check on the order. The last time I called I was on hold long enough to slowly eat a whole Subway sandwich (and I did). When they picked up again they just asked for my number and said they would call me back, which they didn't till eight hours later. And they never called the number we told them to use to tell us that everything was ready. When I went to pick up my items, I just had to hope they were ready.

Ugh anyways, I didn't want to bother her ordering over the phone since she seemed busy too so I decided to customize and order online. I did and decided to pick it up in store the same day since that was one of their offers. I ordered before noon and the time it told me to pick up was at 4:20 pm. I called at 4:15 pm to make sure the order was ready before I drove to pick it up. A different woman answered and she said my stuff was next in line to be engraved. Ugh okay. I figured since it is the holidays I shouldn't be too angry since I know they must be really busy. The lady on the phone told me it would be done in 20 minutes. I thought it was perfect timing anyways since I live 20 mins away. As I got to the store, there were a few Costumers looking around. Only one person greeted me and showed me where pick up was. I waited and no one seemed to want to help. The same lady that greeted me decided to help me. She asked me for my last name and went back to grab my order. She came back with nothing and asked for my first name. She went out back then came back again empty handed and asked for my order number. I was getting really frustrated at this point. Then she went back and had no idea where it was so she asked someone. It was a different woman who came and told me my order got mixed up with someone's order and it would take another 15 minutes!!! Omg I was hella pissed! Why? Because I did everything right and it was a wallet that had a small engraving. I know they were busy but their customer service seriously sucks. I waited in the store for 15 mins and I watched her work on it. It seriously only took 15 mins to do it. Anyways, she did apologize. I was satisfied with the appearance of the wallet by definitely not satisfied with their service. I think I'm just going to stick with personalization mall.com. At least they don't charge you with how much stuff you want engrave. That website only charge you the actual product. This place definitely needs improvement. I understand it's the holidays but they definitely need to work on their communications and customer service. I won't go here for a while. Maybe I'll give them another chance but def not right now.

I was immediately greeted by the very wonderful, specific smell that wafts through Hallmark stores and my senses took me back to childhood shopping excursions with my Mom to buy holiday cards at our local Hallmark. The store is chock full of cards and wrap, which makes it worth stopping here to get something unique. There are all kinds of decor and licensed products displayed in a weaving pattern which made the floor pattern interesting. I have continued to shop here for my wrap and cards since first stopping in last year, knowing that there will be a selection of cards for nieces and nephews that I just can't find anywhere else.
