Daughter number three, (it's always the younger ones), got me going during one of her visits, but really we're talking lotions, soaps and candles... You can buy quality and reasonably priced said items elsewhere... Still, this B&BW is no different from the other - they all seems to follow the company policy and formula - greet the customers and make sure they have a bag to load up on all of those fragrances you suggest. The young lady that assisted me was pleasant. The store wasn't busy at all, however, what stood out was the willingness of the server to help me find the best deal. I like deals. I am thrifty. Getting the most for my dollar is important to me and I did. It's this type of service that makes me come back. First time coming here. There was a sale going on and my girlfriend dragged me in to check it out. They had a great variety of stuff on sale. We bought a couple of candles, a couple of decor pieces that you plug in and some lotion. The price wasn't bad. The sales associates were a bit aggressive asking us if we needed help every 2 minutes upon entering. We were there for at least 20 minutes so it got kind of annoying. They were really nice though none the less and left satisfied. read more

It's organized and staff is friendly. It's not as big as some of the other locations and it's part of Old Orchard Mall (outdoor walking needed to get to the store- fine in the summer, sucks in the winter). In the past when I've been here and had forgotten my coupons the staff would still give me a discount which definitely makes me want to come back. There isn't really a "wow factor" here so 4 stars is the best I can do. Overall would recommend this location if you're in the area. read more

Whoa. I could have sworn I'd been here before but when I went inside it seemed like a foreign jungle of pretty smelling flowers fruits and fairy tales. I've visited multiple B&BW locations before but none that had such a bulk of their products. They were stocked as well as the Victoria's Secret just a short walk down the strip (they have walllllls of their products). There were some AMAZING sales this winter, including everything 50% off, 75% off...it went on. I just stopped in there today because I was looking for something I saw online, found it. I wasn't planning on ordering 1 item online and paying shipping. The item was a makeup bag, normally $6 (though as far as 'normally' I had never seen it before and suddenly fell in love with it) was $1.50. The staff was perky, cute and excited about their product line. You can just feel why those girls had chosen to apply there. On a crappy note it happens that the bins full of soaps and oily-er products were sticky and some of the bottles seemed to have leaked or exploded all over some of them, which then people handled and moved around the goo...still I was able to find what I was looking for. I did however look for the gingersnap 3-in-1 body wash/shampoo/bubble bath :( which was not there. Remember three things. 1. Most likely if you dig around enough looking for a particular scent you'll probably find it. (If you don't, don't squish gooey soaps all over the bins please! I shop in those bins!!) 2. B&BW always has some kind of deal, but the time to chow down in there is when the store wide deals are outrageous. I personally get e-mail updates letting me know the specials. 3. Don't give out your phone number when you check-out. You don't need to, and you don't want your info sold to some crap company do you? That's what I thought! Now go shopping! Check retailmenot.com for coupons IN STORE too. They don't just have coupon codes. For B&BW particularly they usually have some great print outs (for in store use only kind of thing). read more

I've been to may different locations of BBW. Customer service in most of them are acceptable and in some stores it is good. The one in the Old Orchard Mall was not so. Both the service reps. were not very knowledgeable about the products. I asked one of them about the wax in the candles. Are they soy products? The label said it is soy blend and the rep was not sure what it meant. Unfortunately, the parent co. also does not want to go into details about the blend. Does the blend contain paraffin, animal fat or any thing else? Why not be more specific? Customers had to almost scream to carry on a conversation with the reps because the piped-in music was so loud. The rep. said he cannot control the volume of the music. It was sheer noise pollution!! BBW has a practice of phasing out many of the scented soaps/lotions after marketing them for a period of time. It is hard to believe that it is because they did not sell well since a large number of scents have been phased out after being in the market for a relatively short while. I suggest a redo of the market survey or get someone better knowledgeable about surveys. The MOST DISCOURAGING AND ANNOYING aspects are BBW's lack of environmental concerns about plastic bottles. Many other brands offer a choice of refills in larger containers to fill bottles one already has. At least it is some consolation although not the best solution. Why not BBW? Finally, if you insist on plastic bottles they should have a wider base so they don't tip over when liquid level inside drops low. . read more

I love this store! not just B&BW but this particular store. everyone that works there is excited about their product lines, eager to show you around, and with very little exception they have all memorized all their sales which helps when shopping. Also, they accept coupons 3 days before and after their valid dates. always a plus! there are so many good products there its hard to chose just one and because I work in the mall also, its hard not to stop in everyday and check out their latest sales. I've pretty much stopped going to all their other locations because these people are so excited to see a customer walk in the store. its like they have a secret and they're just dying to tell it! read more

Staff is pretty great. I've always been greeted and offered a shopping bag to dump all my goodies in. I've never felt pressured to buy a ton of things, but informed on what they have to offer. I love their Wallflower plug-ins and always keep my handy little hand sanitizers on hand. The sami annua sale is something I dream about so I can stock up on all my favorite hand soaps and lotions. From all of the Bath & Body Works stores this is one of the stores with the nicest employees. The minute you walk in here you have at least three or four employees offer to help you. However, this past Saturday I had an extremely uncomfortable experience. This particular day the signs at the store said "Buy 3 and Get 2 Free" on the lotions and shower gels. So I grabbed 5. One of the employees just changed the signs and told me to grab one more because it was "Buy 3 and Get 3 Free"....very cool. Until we got to the register. Another employee started having a conniption fit. She began yelling at the other employees right in front of us that it was "Buy 3 and Get 2 Free" not "3 Free". Then she told us that "someone" turned the signs around implying that perhaps we did it. Then she began telling us and the other employees that some of the employees don't know how to read emails. And that they shouldn't be turning signs around. This was so embarrassing not only for us but also for the employees that she was yelling at. First, why would you throw such a fit in front of customers?!?! We had nothing to do with it. Second, if indeed a mistake was made, we should not have had to witness any of this. They did give us the 3 Free so we should have been on our way instead of being made to feel uncomfortable like we did something wrong. We didn't even know about the "3 Free" and were expecting to only get "2 Free". It is really idiotic for a business to offer you something that you would never have asked for and then to give you a hard time about it at the register. And to admonish coworkers or other employees in front of customers is unprofessional as an employer and uncomfortable for customers. I am going to avoid this location for a while!!! read more

Bath & Body has definitely changed in the last couple of years. I absolutely love their candle selection, I stopped by & I got 2 candles for $20 and received a mini one for free. The employees were all really nice and helpful, I will definitely get more products from them more often. read more

Usually I have a great experience at Bath and Body Works but this time I wasn't pleased. To start I had to find someone to ask them about a scent to see if they still had it. The girl replied "I don't know"... then I asked her if she had any gift sets for the holidays, she then pointed towards the front of the store and walked away.... fine... I realized I'd be my own customer service for the day.... so i chose my items and I finally went to check out... my total rang up to about $86 after using my 20% off coupon. When I handed the cashier the "free gift" coupon... she then tore it in half and told me I cannot use it because it wasn't attached to the 20% off original coupon.... I told her it's the same coupon and I spent more than the suggested $10... she refused to accommodate the free gift coupon.... this was extremely upsetting because in the past month I spent a good amount of money at B&B works and the "gift" I chose was a simple $5 soap decor sleeve.
