Instead, I walked out fighting back tears. With a hair appointment immediately after, I didn't have time to ask for a fix, and ended up redoing the entire look myself. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. When you book with professionals, you expect artistry, not mediocrity. I am not certain the facial cleansed my skin thoroughly because I could still see some eye shadow on my eye lids when I looked in the mirror in the car following the facial. The guest that was supposed to check in after my group finished, arrived early for her appointment, a member of the staff approached the esthetician performing my facial to inquire how much longer until my facial would be done...my esthetician stated 5 minutes...which made me feel a bit rushed during my service. Overall the time with my family was very nice and the estheticians were pretty good overall. I felt the cleanse portion of my facial wasn't thorough however my family enjoyed their services quite a bit. On a side note, the facials are performed in an open space where up to 3 people could be getting facials simultaneously (I chose a time when my family members were the only people on the schedule) for more privacy. We asked if we wanted to try the shay butter they import from Ghana. The butter made my hands super slippery as I don't use creams as my skin is naturally awesome. He then said he has black soap. So my mind went to charcoal soap. Of course I was interested. He explained he makes his own black soap with essential oils and shay butter. The soap be stated lasts 2 months a bar approximately.
