The installation process was smooth. What wasn't smooth was and still is an issue to date-my materials arrived earlier than expected so the Desiree(the permit coordinator) called me to get the installation done at the end of January and offered me a $100 "incentive", which I accepted. Waiting 5 plus weeks for a repair of a defective installation and then to be told to be available for 5 hours on that day only to be told, "We need to reschedule you", at the 3 1/2 hour mark an after an unreturned call/voicemail and my second call about a better approximately repair time!!! They completely messed up my installation from the summer on 2024. The first installer who showed up brought a friend who did not work for the company with him( have been told has since been fired). Next installer who put up glass a few months later( could not use shower during that time) also brought a friend. Glass is not square or level. Rough edges that will cut you, silicone all over the floor that was cleaned up, saw dust in caulk. Just a very non professional job all the way around. Was supposed to have a complete redo done today (2/28/25) but the installer stated the glass was never ordered. The office staff is a joke. They will not fix their screw up and will not refund our $10k+. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! You have been warned. I would give them no stars if I could. read more

We've been wanting a redo of our 1978 Fiberglas tub and after researching 3 major companies, chose Bath Fitter. We made the right choice and have a BEAUTIFUL new shower. Jeremy arrived on time and completed the demo and basics in time for the County inspector. Even the inspector was impressed and said with emphasis "good job". Jeremy finished the job and did a great cleanup. He had a very small work space and was extremely careful of the surroundings. We received a beautiful new shower. The installet was great and timely. The thing that we are not happy with is our sales person told us we could absolutely NOT use our current doors and had to purchase new doors, so we did! After looking more closely at the back of the paperwork, we COULD have used our doors. Therefore, we spent $1900 more than we should have. I'm sure that salesman made a profit off of it. But don't feel that is good customer service of your salesman lying to the customer to get their bonus higher. read more

UPDATE: I have an appointment to move the shelf. For the most part they did a great job. Everything works well and looks nice. The shower they were working on is kind of small. Given that the shower is so small, the placement of the shelf they installed would've been much better on the front wall, leaving more room in the back. I had discussed this with the salesman and assumed it was in the work order. The installer never asked where I wanted it. Well, it's in the back. I've called several times to see if they will just come out and move it to another corner. I got a call back saying they'd look into and get back to me. That was almost two weeks ago. This would easily be a 5-star rating if they'd just move the shelf. read more

I have been helping a friend in the Keys resolve an a few issues for over 6 months after install. But the worse part is the No call no show appointments. She waits all day no call no technician. At one point the corporate office was called they dispatched a senior technician once the work was completed the problem continued. In my opinion and observation I think they are taking advantage of a single senior female person. This is not right. If this is not corrected soon we will involve the BBB and possibly legal action. read more

We had Bath Fitters install a new shower for us in November 2022. A week later one of the walls detached and bowed. A repair person came out, looked at it and said he would get with his manager. It has been 7 months since then. We have called several times and left messages without a return call. We have spoken with Nicole in services a few times and she made excuses as to why we were not getting return calls. Now their voice mail box is full and you can't leave a message. Since the first call the other two walls have bowed and the floor is also not adhered anymore. Bath Fitters has a lifetime warranty but it is only good if they honor it. We are hoping someone from Bath Fitters will see this review and get back to us to resolve this problem. read more

We went with Bath Fitters because of their honest, up front, no pressure sales approach. Albert gave a great presentation. We decided to complete our own tear out of our old bath tub and have bath fitters install a new walk in shower. During our tear out we discovered black mold and notified Dean at Bath Fitters of our problem and we would let him know when we were ready. Michael Holbrook arrived at the scheduled time and got right to work. There were a couple of problems that we had created so Martin came to assist Michael. Michael worked 4 hours longer than he normally would have because of our mistake. He went way above and beyond to finish our new shower in one day he was here for 9 1/2 hours. Michael never complained about our screw up and was always chearful and smiling. The best part is Bath Fitters honored our contract, never charged us one penny more. So we had two baths done our installer Jerome was great thorough cleanup after nice Guy.! Brenda the admin assistant ( located in Texas!) was very responsive to a billing issue I had. With that said the installation management team sucked! Left VM to multiple managers liking for assistance one manager Nicole never called back after multiple calls! I love my new shower! Installer John McCabe is experienced and competent. I tend to " supervise" my workers. Not necessary with him: he's strong and very focused. He arrived at 7:30 am and worked non-stop until 4:30pm. He removed my old shower walls, drains, flooring and doors. Then he strengthened the base and wall support. He installed good quality plumbing units behind the wall and under the floor. Then he added a beautiful floor unit, with a large shower head, seamless walls and gorgeous sliding doors. I had looked for about a year trying to decide how to update my shower and I see now that the Bath Fitter solution is a very high quality, waterproof solution that is a pleasure to use. This fellow also left my place spotless, which is amazing considering how much work he did. read more

When shower was installed the flooring had a yellowed strip at the top underneath the shower head. I went ahead and signed the completion paperwork thinking this would disappear after cleaning. Three years later still have the yellowed strip. I didn't immediately call because when I'm in the shower I don't wear my glasses and couldn't see it and I also clean the shower while in it. After having guests mention it I decided to call about the issue. On September 8, 2022 they sent an inspector who tried to clean it with their own cleaner and it didn't touch it. He took a picture of it and said the matter would be discussed and they would contact me. Well we got hit with the hurricane at the end of September so I waited another month before contacting them. Five phone calls later after not speaking with anyone only leaving messages I finally told them I wanted to speak with the manager. They forwarded me to a very cold, rude girl who advised me that the stain was from my shampoo and skin cells. I told her this was like this at the installation. She just kept talking over me and "reminded" me that at the time of my first consultation I was advised that I would have to occasionally replace the flooring. I don't recall being told this. Anyway long story short, they will not honor their "lifetime warranty". I would not recommend using this company. Terrible customer service. Oh! and the installer walked off with one of the handles from the new trim kit I had purchased to have replaced in the shower. read more

This company installed a new shower for me two months ago. The technician that came out was very nice, he took his time and all looked great. Two weeks ago, we had issues with cracking. A new shower should not be cracking after only two months! We called several times to get it fixed, they made appointments with us and no one would show up! After arguing and requesting to speak to higher management, the rudest! Most disgusting mannered woman called us back.... telling us that they would not fix it, and after I read the warranty to her she told me to "F*** off". Her name is Arin or Erin. Worst experience ever. Save yourself the trouble. Hire a company that won't tell you to F off if an issue arises. read more

I just had my shower installed today. I am extremely grateful to RAFAEL and STEVE for their professionalism! THEY AND THEIR WORK ETHICS ARE THE ONLY POSITIVE THAT CAME FROM OUR ENCOUNTER WITH THIS COMPANY. Rafael and Steve were very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure the installation was done to the best of their ability. The inappropriate handling of the wrong shower head that was installed, leaves us with a terrible experience. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with how inside staff mishandled the situation. Jarod (salesman), and Martin (installation manager) did not 1. apologize for the wrong shower head, and 2. wanted to charge us an additional $295 (discounted price, according to Martin) for the (correct) shower head that I had originally told Jarod that we wanted. I spoke with Jarod on the phone, who was supposed to call me back, but he never did. I left a message with the office staff to have a manager call me. I received a call back from the installation manager, Martin, who very obviously needs to work on his ability to listen to the customer, try to make a wrong situation right, and seriously needs to work on his lack of customer service skills. Poor ability by both Jarod and Martin to NOT pay attention to detail, and NOT provide a positive resolution to our situation. They left us with the incorrect shower head, and took our money. I will never use this company again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Bathfitters is Horrible. They sent an unqualified incompetent installer to install a tub cover. He broke the existing tile soap dish on the wall and while we were out getting a replacement he cut a 2-1/2'x14" hole in our bathroom tiled wall. They won't take responsibility for it and refuse to fix the wall. Tell your friends and family to never ever use this horrible company for anything. We now have to get a lawyer and sue them for something a legitimate Company would and should have taken care of. read more

First of all you should know that Bathfitter is MUCH more expensive than their competitors. That being said, you would expect a superior product and top notch customer service. To those reading this review I will say that the product is very good in quality. However, like any contract job often there are times when they have to come back and touch things up or address a minor issue. In this department they failed miserably. My turnaround time for followup was over a month !!! I have a small issue that they need to come back and address and I'm still waiting. They did the project pretty quickly but didn't seem to care after they had payment. Too bad because the initial impression was top notch. read more

First off, I'm posting this for my parents who are in there late 70's. Bath Fitter came to their home to replace a shower with a full fiberglass unit. The install took place the 19th of December. Once completed, a large bulge was located in the wall. They did come look at it, but did not fix anything, the following days it grew in size. Within a week while the shower water was running the shower ceiling collapsed. Again, they were contacted and informed now that the ceiling collapsed. They stated "We will send someone out in a couple of days." Are you kidding me? Now, I'm not a business owner, but if I owned a company like this, I would treat this as an emergency call and get someone over ASAP to assess things. Nope. Not with these clowns. So after a "couple of days", a tech finally shows up and states that "The wrong glue was used." Well they again glued the ceiling back with the proper glue. After it was fixed, a waiting period of a a few days needed to occur before the shower could be used. My parents went to use the shower and realized the track doors were installed backwards. This caused the water to pour out onto the floor. Meantime, the bulge in the side continued to grow. After calling them, they told my parents "we will put you on a list, as several others are having issues too." So. Currently, ceiling was fixed, doors fixed, bulge is still growing. February 21st is the next scheduled visit. Very poor customer service and obviously not good install techs. Stay away, run away. The got their full money and treat customers low priority as soon as the cash is received. Obviously if you research the Naples branch closed I'm assuming from low business if this is how they operate. Hire someone else. read more

Whatever you do do not go with this company, they are a complete scam and very unprofessional. They came to our apartment to access our bathroom as we were looking to purchase a new shower. First off, they lied about what they could do, everything we asked for was a "yes of course we can do that". Fast forward a few weeks when the guy comes out, turns out they can't do any of the stuff they said would be "no problem". We now have paid almost $5,000 for a half ass shower with no doors. They also never provided a sketch or anything to see what it would look like... it looks cheap and I am completely unsatisfied. For the amount of money I paid, I feel completely robbed and am stuck here with a shower I cannot even use because it has no doors. They wanted to charge another grand to put doors on... no thanks! I wouldn't give this company another cent. They are con artists and have zero customer service. They don't care if you are happy with their work or if the job is finished, they are just looking to cash your check. My neighbor was looking to get a new shower and asked about this company and after telling him this story he went with another company. I had schedule two bathrooms install, last week. The technician had the wrong material for the shower in the pool bath. I had check the reviews, did my research.Thee "manager offered a free accessory for the inconvenience. They could no get the material before the holiday. Their phones were down on Monday, so their call center to my message wrong and got a frantic call for Lisa, using her own cell phone to call me back. She emphasized she was using her own phone. I talked to her twice this week and my husband talked to Rachel on Friday when the tech was at the house, again offering a free item for the inconvenience. All three phone calls did not say it would be after Christmas. I am very disappointed in Bath fitters in Fort Myers, FL. They are not cheap and I wanted to avoid a demo on the shower and one day installation. Well no shower remodel and now I guess I learned my lesson. The tub they put in is not aligned with the tile and you can see it, this is very noticeable. I would not recommend them to anyone because of their lack of customer service. We had signed the contract approximate 10 days prior and had our deposit and did not order the right materials or check before sending the tech out to do the work. read more

Our complaint is about the horrible treatment we received from the Bath Fitter franchise of Southwest Florida, a company called Jetliner, located at 14261 Jetport Loop West, Suite 8, Fort Myers, FL 33913. On October 9, 2017 this company installed a bath fitter tub liner in our property in Sarasota, Florida. We were present when the technician did the installation. The installer was a young man, who looked to be in his early 20's, was not a licensed plumber and could not have had much plumbing experience. In order to install the bath fitter liner, it was necessary to uninstall certain existing plumbing fixtures and to reinstall them. We noticed that he was having problems reinstalling the tub spout and he spoke to us about it. He said he unscrewed the tub spout from the pipe in the wall but was unable to screw it back. He then went to his truck and phoned his supervisor for advice. Then, he returned to the bathroom and again struggled with the tub spout. Finally, he told us that he was going to leave the tub spout unscrewed but secure it with plumber's tape and putty so that it would not move around. When we checked the work, we noticed that water was dripping along the wall and out of the base of the tub spout and that water was also dripping from the lever that switches from tub to shower. We insisted that the problem be resolved before we made final payment. We immediately received an angry call from a lady in the company office who claimed that the company was not responsible for plumbing fixtures that they didn't install and refused to send additional technical help to address the problem further. She threatened to immediately uninstall the liner or "call the police" unless we paid for the installation that very day. What followed were several days of harassing and insulting telephone calls, as many as a dozen a day. I informed the company that we would hire a plumber to resolve the problem and pay the remaining balance due after deducting the plumber's work. The plumber we hired said the tub spout was not installed at all and water was running into the wall. He advised us to exchange the tub spout for another one since it was so badly mangled with the thread stripped that it was no longer useful. This I did. Meanwhile, we received an express mail letter threatening to take out a mechanic's lien on the property unless payment was received. With the help of a lawyer friend, we arranged to hand over the payment, deducting only $100 for the plumbing work. The bottom line is that we were shocked that any company would treat their customers in this way. There was nothing in the contract we signed that mentioned a disclaimer for damage to existing plumbing fixtures and it was obvious that the installer did, in fact, damage the tub spout when he attempted to reinstall it. The company's first mistake was to have a young, inexperienced boy do the entire installation when the job required at least two experienced people, one of them being a licensed plumber. Their next mistake was to say that they had no knowledge that the problem even existed, when, in fact, the installer told them about it. Their refusal to address the problem showed that they only wanted to leave, make a fast buck, and leave the customer with a potentially dangerous plumbing problem. That is, they were satisfied to leave a disconnected pipe in the wall without even informing the customer that the water was seeping into the wall! Finally, their Mob-like tactics to harass and threaten us was very unprofessional, to say the least. This is not a company you ever want to deal with! read more
