Our old tile bath/shower had sprung a leak somewhere and was letting water get under our floor. Since falling through a rotten floor while naked and getting in/out of the shower isn't exactly on my to-do list, something had to be done. After looking into the price as well as maintenance needed for tile walls, I started looking for other options. It is so difficult and annoying trying to keep the grout and tiles clean that I just wanted something easy. I don't think I have gotten the cast iron tub fully white since we moved in. I needed to replace my 70's tub/shower combo for a walk-in shower. The salesman was great and gave me lots of choices. Everything was explained and there were no surprises in any area, including cost. In just about 2 weeks Bath Fitter was scheduled to arrive between 8:00-10:00 and arrived promptly at 8:00 which was great. Nathan put down pads throughout the house to protect my floors and got right to work. He was very professional and polite. I felt so comfortable with him in the house that I took my dogs for a walk. I was told the process would take about 5-6 hours and Nathan was finished in just over five. My new walk-in shower looks wonderful and will be a great addition when my 88 year old mother moves in with me. At 66 I will probably need it in the future too! We had a complete shower replacement. Bath Fitter was very professional from the initial call through the finished job. All appointments were kept and on time. All promises were met. The install was completed by Nathan and Brock. They worked hard all day without a break. They ran up and down our stairs many times and must have been exhausted when finished. They started at 8:30 and finished by 4:00. The old shower was removed including the plumbing. The fixtures and the drywall was replaced. The new shower and glass door was professionally installed. I watched the progress all day while they explained each step and I saw the quality of the job completed. We are extremely pleased with the final product. In addition to having our hall bath tub replaced by Tim B and our master bath shower replaced by Jeremy, the very same day we also had our giant and outdated jetted garden tub removed and replaced with a smaller but very functional deep soaker tub. This job was completed by Brock and Jerry who also built a deck at both ends of the new tub to fill in the space previously occupied by the ginormous old tub. I think it looks great and much more like 2021 than 1991. Jerry came out yesterday and fixed our downstairs tub. We had Miracle Method to do our tubs and they made a total mess, and wouldn't stand behind their work. We had Bath Fitters do our upstairs bath last year and when the finish on the downstairs tub started peeling off, that's what Miracle Method did, we called to have the tub done. Jerry is such a nice guy and was finished in a couple of hours. Beautiful!! Pictures attached are both tubs. The upstairs enclosure is perfect and we could choose what accessories we wanted. I just had my jacuzzi tub removed and a beautiful large shower replaced it. The 2 young men, Tim and Austin, who did the work were really great. They were polite, respectful of my home and they answered any questions. They allowed me to see what they were doing as I love to learn about how things are done. Wow! I'm so thankful to have had Jerry and Brock today installing a new shower. Our home isn't quite 3 years old however we didn't give thought when we built about elderly loved ones. I consulted with 4 of the prominent tub and shower installation companies. Bath Fitter had the best price, only one with a lifetime warranty, and installed it in less than 3 weeks from contract signing. The Other companies were 2 to 3 months for installation. Tim was on time and professional. He advised me of every facet of the process. The old fiberglass tub and walls were removed.
