We have been using Bill for many years. Our dogs love him and we appreciate him. He changes the groom to match the weather conditions.

If I could give a "0" I would. The owner/groomer Bill, was fantasic with our dog and we loved the cut and blow out he gave to our pet. We wanted to book immediately but were asked to contact his "Assistant". Time for her to be fired and if she's your spouse, she should look elsewhere! The phone always goes to a voicemail asking for a message to be left, a return call number, or a text. I tried to reach them in a number of ways from July 31 to September 04, with not so much as remotely the courtesy of a call or text back. This is no way to run a business. My recommendation to potential clients would be to keep looking elsewhere. The lack of response, in my mind, is the same as a big "we're not remotely interested". I have the same response back to you Ms "Assistant" - I hope you don't have any bills to pay, because the days your business can be open is apparently limited! read more

I'm new to the area and I had a dog grooming appointment booked for way over a month to have my four small dogs groomed. A few days prior, I called to confirm the appointment. The day before the appointment, a lady called to confirm the appointment as well. I thought we were all set. The morning of my appointment, Bill was a no-show for two hours, and then finally called me and said he was running late in another city and could we reschedule for the next day. Disappointed and inconvenienced, I said that was fine. The very next morning he was supposed to be at my house at 8 o'clock sharp. I never heard from him and he didn't show up. (again!) I kept texting him and calling him to see if he was on his way or maybe he forgot... but nobody was answering or responding. He finally texted me at 12:30 and said that he was at the vet with his dog, it had been injured and he'd been there all morning with him. I told him in a text, I was very sorry to hear that his dog was injured and would he like to reschedule? I never heard from him again. I texted him the very next day and told him that I was very disappointed in him and his customer service and he said he was very sorry. That was it. I also told him a simple phone call or a text explaining what had happened or even rescheduling would've been fine, but to just blow me off and not show up was extremely bad customer service and I will never even think of using him again, not only did he do it once, he did it twice! 2 days in a row. He is flakey and unreliable! Obviously he didn't want to groom my 4 dogs. He seemed like such a nice guy on the phone... But, I'm moving on and I will find another groomer to groom my four dogs once a month on a regular basis. He lost a very good potential customer! There is also many people in my neighborhood looking for a mobile groomer I could've referred him to. Beware! I read other reviews now and it sounds like he's done this quite a bit before in the past. This is no way to run a business! read more

Bill is very personable & accommodating. He's also very busy as well and that presents challenges. Mobile grooming is like a Hairdresser for Animals on Wheels... So, if you've ever been to a hairdresser that has had a client or two show up late or a mishap, you can see how that would affect your schedule & subsequent appointments. You see this at doctors offices. But I've noticed that at my favorite doctors offices & my hairdresser, they don't take on more than they can handle, have a cutoff time for lateness, add a little buffer time to expect the unexpected and this helps them run on time. So, it is possible to be on time if you work at knowing all the obstacles to your business' timeliness & proactively overcome them. All that being said, Bill was over an hour late to my appointment. I texted him and he responded as soon as he could. I personally don't think it's possible to respond mid shampoo of a cat...Focus or be scratched... Hehe. But, I've gotta say that I was worried that he wasn't going to make it. This was our first appointment with him...and despite this, not our last. Yay! Ok, so the service... He was very patient with me as these cats are new to me...I've never had to put them in their crates until today. Oh My Gosh!!!! One thing that I'll advise you, the reader, of is to put you cats in their crates before you expect him to come over. This was my first grooming appointment for cats EVER...I didn't know what to expect. I'm sure I told Bill this on our first conversation... Here's a point that he could have helped me, his new customer on: ***Let me know the best way to have the animal ready (i.e. In a crate, on a leash, pet owner or Bill walks them to the mobil grooming area, etc). Fortunately I was the last appointment of the day, because these little kitties had no where to hide but absolutely did NOT want to get in the crates! All paws on deck working overtime to defeat the crate. Another thing to inform new customers of: ***If your animal is skittish due to noises, there's a generator that is turned on for the mobil grooming station...get them in their carriers before Bill arrives because that noise will not help. Sad news for me: my cats are skittish... Even though I made it so the cats had no where to hide, they really needed to be in their crates. Next time I know to start putting them in there about 15-20 min before Bill arrives. Making sure the client knows what to do to prepare will save important time & keep on schedule. There are however things that would cause a groomer's schedule to go awry... HE is dealing with ANIMALS & their unpredictability. I think humans are definitely more predictable... They're not gonna soil themselves after their wash & need re-washing/drying...they don't try to scratch/bite their hairdresser like animals do...at least I hope they don't...hahaha. Ok, so even though Bill was late, he washed/dried/rewashed my cats within the time he said he would and no one got hurt... Haha. He is one of the very few that will groom cats. He's friendly & made my cats pretty & smell nice. So, I'm going to use him again! =^.^= read more

Bill came out to the house Tuesday to give my British Long-hair cat a "lion cut". His scheduler Kim confirmed the appointment the day before just as a reminder, which I so appreciate. I received a call to let me know he was on his way. He was on time, just as expected and very personable and professional upon arrival. Since this was his first time grooming Ivy - my cat, we discussed the cut in detail before he took her in the pet carrier to his grooming trailer. He did a WONDERFUL job grooming her! He did exactly what I wanted - she was returned to me calm and BEAUTIFUL! Payment is easy because he accepts Credit Cards, Cash and even Venmo!! I will call him from now on anytime I need any of my pets groomed. He is loaded with experience, a gentleness with animals and is very easy to work with, not to mention - he comes right to your door!!! One FABULOUS groomer 100%. A good groomer is hard to find which is why he is extremely busy. But I can tell you he is worth the wait! Get on his schedule, you won't be disappointed. read more

I can't say enough good stuff about Bill and Bath Time Mobile Pet Grooming! I have temporary ownership of Satan's cat. Rusty is long haired & hates the world. You should see the scars on my hands from him! He is old, but he is hell on wheels. He gets fiercely matted because nobody can brush or comb him. But, for Bill the groomer, Rusty totally relaxes & takes a nap! Bill bathes him, trims his nails, gives him a lovely little lion cut. All the while, Rusty is jello in Bill's skilled hands. Yes, sometimes Bill has scheduling difficulties. Animals can run overtime. But he's reasonable, he's gentle with my Rusty, and he never hurts my animal! A lot of local groomers nick the pets' skin, with cats it tears. They have to be careful. Especially with older cats. Bill takes his time & has an incredible talent with animals. I had been looking for a dog groomer to make things easier and keep my dogs clean. Bath Time by Bill was recommended by a neighbor of mine. When I called Bill he was three weeks out on appointments. I went ahead and booked Bill for March 11th. March 11th has come and gone, my fellow Yelpers, I never heard from Bill. He did not call, text, email, send smoke signals, Facebook or tweet me. With so many ways to communicate now a days I'm surprised a business owner would just flake out on an appointment. Bill just never showed up. I called a few times and sent a text message. I finally got a call back four days later asking if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. Ummm... NO THANKS! I wouldn't do business with a company that cannot communicate with their clients. Bill has groomed our mini poodle for the last six years. He is a great groomer but VERY busy. He often runs late to appointments, but does show up. He's patient with our poodle and she looks beautiful every time she's groomed. If you are looking for someone who can come groom your pet at the drop of a dime, he's not the guy for you. He is definitely better at responding to text messages and emails. I will continue to use Bath Time and Bill as my groomer because he's the best groomer we've had. read more

Refuses to work on Pitbulls.....but has no problem working on Dobermans. Took 8 hours to even reply. But by the looks of the other reviews......hes not much of a business owner anyways. read more

Well, if I could give a zero that is what I would do. I called, Bill was very nice on the phone, told me he was booked and to call back in 10 days to see if he had an opening. Made an appointment for my pup for 3 weeks out on a Monday. I tried to call to confirm, no answer. Sent a text, no answer. So Monday I waited and waited... Sent a text called 4 times, no answer.. Freaking stood me up! Mind you I waited FIVE WEEKS for this appointment.. I waited to write my review to give him the benefit of a doubt. Thought maybe health problems or an emergency.. It has now been over a week and haven't heard a word. Didn't answer text, email or phone... Very disappointing read more

Bath Time Grooming, Bill with a couple decades of experience...I used to take my dogs in to get groomed at his office in Indio, Ca. In the late 90's/early 2000's...well he went mobile with his grooming services in 2002 or so. Now he comes right to my home. I like how good, gentle he is with my pets. They are very comfortable with Bill. I have special request in the care of my dogs and Bill understands my needs and follows yet with his experience, I know they are in good hands. Always have no problem. Good, quick, & my dog comes in the house smelling good & looking good. I've used him about 4 times this year.

HORRIBLE!!! Very unprofessional! I would NOT trust him with my dog! He Will schedule then change date or simply cancel at the last minute.. HAve heard from other dog owners unpleasant stories!! read more
