We moved to Sun City two months ago. We have 3 senior rescues who needed attention, and we found Shaun from Furry Critters Mobile Grooming. Lots of groomers and other services are busy right now due to the increased fall and winter population as you know \_( * * )_/ but Shaun squeezed us in. Shaun arranged our first session yesterday which went really great. Our 8 year old chiweenie and 11 year old blue heeler mix went in for baths and nail clipping together which helped their anxiety. The pets can look out the window of the van, which calms them a lot! Our 11 year old Havanese, Teddy, had a full grooming, sanitary checkup, and bath. He looks amazing, with his gray coat and silvery legs. Usually the other two cry and fuss while Teddy is outside but this time they already had seen Shaun and they were pretty ok with waiting. I gave several photos of how our poodle had been groomed and she looks nothing like her previous groom or the photos of poodles on their site. In addition to not being the style I asked for, the groom is uneven in places and her toenails were cut very near or at the quick with jagged edges. After getting groomed my pup has spent the day hiding in the closet. This was also the most expensive groom I have ever paid for any of my three poodles. I will need to get her re-groomed. She comes to the house with all she needs, and gets it all done outside with a hose or in a bathtub, your choice. All three dogs looked great.
