I didn't even know I had an attic because the home inspection report said a previous addition upstairs was the attic itself. Ralph was right. He gave me a quote, didn't try to upsell me, and answered other heating and cooling questions I then had. The crew, led by Francisco, were three hardworking and polite guys who neatly cut a small hole in my upstairs ceiling, blew in fiberglass, went into the crawl space, vacuumed it entirely, cleaned the transfer grille that was located at the top of the staircase (bad location), and closed everything back up. If you have uneven temperatures or think you need a new unit, get your attic insulation looked at, even if it's inaccessible to you. Not a DIY job. I saw many good reviews about Legend Air, so I called. They were pleasant on the phone, understood the issue, said they could be here TODAY, between 12-2pm. Ron arrived at 12:40 and got to work. Troubleshooting didn't take long; we needed a new pump on the unit. He had one in the truck, and we sat and chatted with him while he worked. He was pleasant and efficient, and about an hour later all the work was done and the AC was cranking. We settled up and he was on his way shortly thereafter. I wish every service technician was as knowledgeable and friendly, and that every service call was as enjoyable.
