I have the responsibility of letting them in the building and bringing them to the site of the problem. When they come and they are always courteous, on time and most importantly fix the issue! He also was realistic and told us that the heater was way past its life expectancy and we should think about a replacement. Did not force a sale or anything but did give us a quote for a replacement. The next day we decided to call back and just replace the system to avoid going through this again. They came in the next day, replaced the system and took care of all necessary permits. My only complaint would be the plumber who came to cap the gas, I feel as though there should be more communication with the client and vendors and more explanation on exactly what needs to happen. The plumber did not turn our gas back on so now we are having to spend additional money to have the gas put back on for our tenant. We called him, texted him and sent email to Ice Age and no help yet! Overall I would recommend ice age,but I would be hesitant to trust the contracted plumber they use. Not only did he fix a problem that many plumbers had tried and couldn't, he found other issues of rotting pipes and fixed those problems before it was a disaster. He is the best plumber in Brooklyn, hands down. I feel lucky to have found him. Angelo is now fixing another problem that another plumber cut corners on. He knew the issue right away before even taking out the floor. And you know what, he was right! I have explained issues over the phone to Angelo, and he knew what the issue was and how to fix it.
