Number one they don't have a direct phone number to the location. I called the Charleston location and was quoted $250 for an alternator, once I arrived she said it would be $271 but she didn't have it I would need to pay her then come back tomorrow to pick it up. This is one more bad review on top of all the others for batteries 4 less. Poor follow through. I called about a warranty replacement for the battery I bought from him 09/2019 I wanted to know if he had a replacement in stock before driving to his place. He said "send me a text/picture of the battery". I did and no reply after 30 minutes. So, I call him again now he says the battery he sold me for my car is not the right battery for my car!? I said "I called and asked if you have a replacement that's it"! Then he says "oh that battery only has 1 year warranty, it's not covered for replacement" (see attached photos). If I had the ability to do zero stars I would but this system makes you have to put one star. I spoke to Cesar a few days ago about purchasing a battery from him he said come down no problem $20 with one year warranty good to go. When it came time to make the deal all of the sudden the price went up to $35 plus tax. $35 is still not a bad price for a battery with a warranty but if he's lying about the pricing in order to drive customers in then bait and switching them, what good is the warranty! he can lie about the warranty the same way he did about the price so I walked away from this deal. My review is pretty much the same as the others. Purchased what was supposed to be a re-manufactured battery which stopped working about two hours after I bought it. Had to get a jump start at the car wash. Had problems for the next 48 hours with mechanics telling me my alternator was going out or maybe me starter. I bought a "new" battety here for $85 on March but less than 6 months later it stops working. I took it to my mechanic and they said that the battery is bad to exchange it. I went back to batteries for less and l told them that my mechanic says that its no good. So Batteries 4 less checks it and they said that its a good battery, still has plenty of power. They said that l need a new mechanic. So l got home, without an exchange, and l called my mechanic back up. He said along the lines of 'they would say that its a good battery because its their battery, when they sell you a so called "new battery" it's really a refurbished battery, its not a new battery. Your alternator is working overtime because of your battery and it will continue to work harder and harder as time goes on because of the bad battery. You definitely need to replace it soon.' So now I'm left holding the bag, $85 dollars gone for 6 months towards a 'new' battery, going to have to spend more on a real quality battery because of Batteries 4 Less. Don't be me and decide to buy a lie from this place or it may lead you to having to call a tow truck because you decided to buy a battery from the side of a convenience store. I drive all the way their on a half dead battery and they are all gone. The store is totally out of business with no notes or anything posted on the door. Bought a battery from this place today. It's says Batteries $25 on the building. Then I ask, about them. He says oh, that's wheel chair batteries. He says Batteries for your car are $37.89. nothing about a core charge. I ask after I bought the battery if he buys batteries, he said yes. So I get my old one from the back of my SUV. I put it on the counter. He grabs it puts it in a shopping cart pushes it to the back and says oh no buy that battery. That's core exchange. If you want it back the battery you bought will be 52.99. Purchased a remanufactured battery. Was wrong size for my truck and it fried my starter due to this. Went back to exchange it for correct size and was told you get what you get and that one will work with a charge. I was told to goto another location to exchange it for the correct one. That location sent me to a warehouse where they said no receipt no exchange. I was not given one in first place. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra money at a reputable place with a real warranty and prorated replacement. I will be going to dmv to file a complaint as well as BBB as this experience cost me a days work plus a new starter. read more

Worst Batteries and Service EVER!!! BATTERIES 4 LESS-Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV THIS COMPANY WILL SELL YOU A BATTERY THAT WILL NOT WORK FOR EVEN 8 HOURS LONG When you call they will tell you that they have $25 batteries but when you arrive they will lie to you and tell you they don't and will tell you they only have $40 to $48 batteries, only when you push and push will you finally get the $25 used battery price they quote. They charge $5 for installation (non-refundable no matter working battery or not), they will only give you a receipt for the battery price and tax, not for the installation charge. If you want a refund they will fight you even though only worked for maybe an hour and will not take the their horrible battery out and put the replacement or your original back in (even though you already paid for that) they will probably not give you your original battery back only another horrible temporarily working battery for less than 8 hours again (even though warrantied for 2 months). If you call the warehouse number below the man who answers the phone is rude and non-compliant, Instead of trying to help me the man told me to take him to court. They use a doctored up tester that will tell you the battery they are selling is good (which is absolutely not). They tell you that you need other things fixed for a price that you don't need fixing. They lie about the hours, this particular store said they were open from 7am to 7pm except for Sunday, this store was not open at 7am, 8am, etc. They do not care if the battery is the correct battery for you car or not and in my case the battery was much too small for my car, they just want your money, and to top it all of you can't even go to their other store hoping for better results, you must go back to the same awful place you purchased it from. They also say you can put what you paid towards a brand new battery with more money, but since there are no refunds then if it also ends up to be another lemon because they lied to you about it being new and only with a 1 year warranty then you are going to be out even more money and a dead battery, and your only resolution would be according to the jerk that allowed me to believe he was higher up in the company was to sue them. This place is extremely not reputable and do not stand by their products and services for even 1 hour even if it is warrantied, however the only thing they will do for you is exchange for another crappy non-working battery again!!!! I guess I will just consider the amount I paid with Batteries 4 less in Las Vegas just a total loss of funds, money now thrown in the garbage!!! I ended up pulling enough money together to just get a new battery, because really was would be the point in continually receiving bad batteries and service over and over just get more frustrated and having to be jumped on a daily basis. Horrible experience with the Lake Mead Blvd location. Purchased a battery after mine had a dead cell and drove the car for about an hour. Car cuts off in the middle of driving which pointed to the alternator. Had alternator and battery replaced. Drove for about a week with no problems, then I come out one morning car won't start. I assumed it was my alarm because of the remote start error I was getting. Took it to the alarm shop he checks everything and says your alarm is fine, it's your battery that is dead. Battery was reading 10 volts. Called B4L they said bring it in along with your car, so I did. She tested the charging system and says oh your alternator is bad. I told her it wasn't I got a brand new one the same day I got the battery. Lady sends me to the warehouse location to speak with Ceasar. He tested my system and said everything is fine. Went to Auto Zone and had a charging system test. Everything is fine. Parked that night came out the next morning battery is "dead". Spent $200 and left car at shop for 2 days to find out there is no parasitic drain the battery is testing good because it's not completely dead but it's not putting out the 11-12 volts to start the car. Called Ceasar back he rambles off a bunch of stuff in his broken english and hangs up in my face. Needless to say never again. And I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I have known these people since they started out of a shack. They used to be really nice and take care of their customers. Now its all about numbers and the customer service and quality is horrible. The Owner is very rude and offensive. They just get all the starters, batteries, alternators and A/C compressors from pic a part junk yard and slap a crappy sticker on it. They say its good but they have no idea. If its bad they will give you another one if you're lucky. Mostly they will hassle you first. Problem is they don't pay for time and labor. So, you install a part . Its bad. They you have to take the part off. Take it out to them. Get another one. Put it on and hope its good so you don't have to repeat the steps over and over. Which is entirely possible since they just get them out of the junk yard. My advice is skip the bad service and go straight for the junk yard. They have higher prices and way worse service. And there is a reason that the Yelp review is so bad for them. My advice to Batteries for less. TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. Provide a quality product. Stop acting like a bunch of gangsters.
