I went to the Batteries Plus store near my home in Centennial, only to discover it had closed. I then made a 20‑minute drive to the Craig Road location specifically to use my "free batteries for life" key fob replacement. When I arrived, I told the employee what kind of car I had and handed him my key fob. I could see him working at the bench for quite a while. While waiting, three motorcycle customers came in, one of whom was dealing with a failed battery. I struck up a conversation after overhearing the interaction. I've been in the motorcycle business my entire life, and it quickly became clear that the woman assisting those customers lacked basic training on warranty procedures and customer service. The interaction was confusing and inefficient for everyone involved. After about 20 minutes, the employee working on my fob came out and said he couldn't replace the battery because the "spring wasn't working" and he didn't want to damage the fob. He suggested I take it to the dealer instead. I brought it home, watched a YouTube video, and replaced the battery myself in about ten minutes--no damage, no issue. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially after driving out of my way. While this franchisee may not have closed stores, the lack of training and execution I witnessed helps explain why several other Las Vegas locations (Tropical Pkwy, Blue Diamond, Grand Canyon) have recently closed. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I can't recommend this store. read more

Went to Batteries Plus after I got off work today, Wednesday around 4:30 and was helped by Alex. I told him I could drop off my 3 watches to get new batteries but wasn't sure which ones I had got the lifetime batteries with. Alex was super helpful and pulled up my account. Yep, 2 of the 3 were covered to replace the batteries... for free. The 3rd watch was newer so I hadn't taken it there before so got the lifetime battery for that one for $26. Was going to leave them there but he said he wasn't too busy and could do them all in 10 minutes. He sure did! Took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. Gave him a little tip and thanked him. Great customer service. Of course, I'll be back. read more

I can start with I've purchased all my car batteries from this location for years.. I recommend and convinced family and friends to purchase car batteries from this location but no more. I purchased an optima battery back in 2020....October of 2022, it started failing, I took it back to batteries plus on Craig. The store manager at the time was quick to let me know it was bad. The only problem was getting another optima car battery it was a 2 week wait, the store manager recommended that if I didn't want to wait, I could up pay and purchase a Odyssey battery instead the cherry on top was he told me I'll would get another 3 year warranty it was a win...win situation it was a no brainer. So fast forward to December 2024, I brought the Odyssey car battery in... they had it for 2 days just to tell me it was bad this time around I was told that they had to see if Odyssey (company) would honor the manufacturer warranty I had to wait 2 weeks for them to let B.P. they weren't going to warranty the battery....as you can see in the pictures. I was supposed to have a 3 year warranty thru batteries plus until October 2025...., batteries plus is a big company why can't they honor their word...and give me a new battery. I will say the person that helped me at the desk was as helpful as he could have been but to say that they can make a product (a key) cheaper than any other business was not true. After charging my card $65 for a duplicate key for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra & 2 house keys, the customer care rep tried twice to cut a good key for the car... neither time was the key able to go in the car door or turn the ignition. He ended up refunding me the money for the key but told me that I would have to still be charged the cutting fee. I wasn't happy about that but departed the store & went to the Hyundai dealership instead. Within 10 minutes, the new key was made & worked! The "kicker" is... it only cost me $11! The dealership said that charging $43 plus a cutting fee was completely outrageous & should have never been done. I went immediately back to Batteries Plus to let them know what happened. The guy that helped me was gone & the rep that was left behind was rude & unapologetic about what had transpired. I asked for my "cutting fee" to be returned & he flat out refused. Upon my request, he gave me the name & number for the Store Manager. I called the number & it just rang to the store counter... not the Manager! Update: the Store Manager called me (before I could call him) & made everything right. He apologized for the process, his rude employee, & took pictures of the receipt to send to his corporate office. Now that's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE! I needed a battery for my UPS power supply and I really didn't want to order one online. It's hard to find an exact match with these type of units. I called the store to ask for directions and Mary advised me that they were located across from the Cannery inside to Lowe's shopping center. After stopping in the casino and losing $100 on some machines, I trotted across the street. Daniel welcomed me to the store and he spent about a half hour trying to find the right sized battery that was going to fit into my UPS. He took his time explaining everything to me and he was very friendly. He even tested my UPS to make sure it worked with his battery. I can't recommend this place. I came here for a car battery: They try too hard to steal your business from a mechanic when you should just go to any shop that will give you a 3-year warranty and save the hassle. I gave them a chance because they had a great deal on a Duracell with a 3-year warranty and free install plus removal. Turns out the battery they sell has smaller than average terminals and now I have to add a sleeve. It wasn't an easy fix because it was off by a hairline so I was at their shop for a long time and it took a lot of finagling to get this right. This wouldn't happen at any AA, Goodyear, Firestone etc. type of joint. Also, know that after your order on-line you have to book an appointment with tech because he's not always there. It's a battery how much tech skill do you need? So the day I needed a battery right away, I had to wait the next day. I shouldn't have to explain a car battery is an immediate demand. It's like eating, it won't kill you to wait till tomorrow but you really rather not. Plus when you goto to a garage, ITS A GARAGE. As opposed to trying to find lucky parking in the busiest strip mall of NLV. It's really not worth the savings here to get your battery installed the same day in 15 minutes. I'm all for capitalism but this store is not set up for your business yet. Now if you're there for any other reason, they probably do deserve 5 stars, but avoid this joint if you need a Car battery install. read more

Do not trust these guys with expensive watch battery replacement. I trusted them with my Invicta watch for a battery and they broke a piece of the dial. They then sent it to some whack repair person who fixed the dial but broke the second hand movement. Watch will not work and now there telling me my watch never worked. And I need to send it to Invicta to get fixed. Be warned this place is crap. read more

I had superior customer service at Batteries Plus They spent 3 1/2 hours replacing two batteries in my motor home. Had to take out most of the dashboard and cut through a wooden trashy and build a support for the tray after the engine battery was replaced. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND and really saved the day go me Whomever designed the engine battery access for my motor home was an idiot !! Can't praise them enough!!!! read more

I came here to get a battery back in 2018 and the other day I received an alert that my battery was low. When I called the lady over the phone she was able to find my receipt and explained the warranty process. I drove up and removed my car battery (because it's a hybrid) and brought it in. They were quick to help me and educated me about my battery and tested it, and it all seemed fine. The lady also told me how and why to boost the battery every so often to help the battery run efficiently and break up crystals that form inside the batteries. They still offered to do a battery boost to help the longevity of the battery. They let me use a loaner battery while they serviced mine ($60 deposit returned when I returned my battery) and a few days later I went to pick up my battery. After my boost I noticed my car battery did manage to maintain my dashcam on much longer in parking mode than it had been before the battery boost service. Great people and great service. Came in yesterday after having an unfortunate experience with a swap meet phone shop owner (dude didn't even show up for the appointment, super shady). After calling 8 other stores in the area that happened to not do camera phone repairs, I called Batteries + Bulbs, asking about a Samsung S6 camera repair. Jermie said that they can help me and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to come right in and have my phone serviced. Unfortunately, the camera piece they had was broken, so my phone couldn't be fixed that day. But Jermie was really apologetic about it, and had the parts ordered and to be delivered the next day before I even asked (also for no additional charge). Fast forward to next day, I had the pleasure of being helped out by Conner. I explained my situation, while the manager, Mary, and another associate, Evalyn, were helping another customer. Mary and Evalyn were extremely charming and helpful to their customer. He looked pretty satisfied with their customer service when he left as well. Jonais, another associate, was working meticulously on something behind the desk and she looked super focused on her work, which tells me that they take their quality work very seriously. Mary overheard my issue with my phone and went straight to the back to retrieve the part that I needed for my phone repair and double checked that it was correct; I really appreciated her anticipation of my needs. Conner started the functionality tests on my phone, which I think it's great, in not only showing the customer that everything works, but also that they know the condition that they receive the phone. Conner gave me a quote time of 2 hours, taking into account that there is someone ahead of me, so I thought that's an appropriate amount of time to make sure they they do a good job. All in all, Batteries + Bulbs on Craig has a great staff that cares about the quality of work they turn out for their customers, as well as their quality of customer service that give to their patrons. The battery in my Xterra died last night. Was here at the 8am store open time. There were 2 helpful representatives here. My battery was tested and it proved to be quite dead (had it jumped to get here). Purchased a vehicle specific battery and tested it again. They have a memory saver device they used so that my radio presets weren't lost!!! No resetting of 15 station presets was so worth it!!! New battery tested so well, it showed that my alternator was doing ok. I'm having my other vehicles battery checked next. The service was great and this will be where I go. They offer all sorts of batteries & bulbs of all sorts, too. read more

It is very rare these days to go into a retail store and interact with employees who really know their products. I needed a replacement battery for an alarm system and Mary was extremely helpful not only in finding the actual battery I needed, but she also suggested other products. While checking out their other merchandise I found an AGM car battery that I was interested in as well. I had done some research on this style of battery, as well as this particular brand, so I asked Mary some questions about it. She clearly knew the product and what features would be most relevant to the shopper. Finally as we were about to leave the store we noticed that they offered iPhone repair. I returned the next day, dropped my phone with the young gentleman that works there (I forgot his name). He had my phone up and running within the time estimated. I have shopped at this store many times, however after my last experience....NEVER AGAIN. I was told by the Manager Mary to bring my battery in and she would pay me my $40 core charge. I explained how big and heavy it was and that it would take a forklift to load it into my truck since it weighed over 400 lbs. I even showed her several pictures of it. She said to bring it and they would get it off. I borrowed a forklift to load this thing. Took it down there. Her staff, looked at the battery in my truck, then gave me dollies to get it off my truck. Somehow by myself I unloaded the battery...mostly due to gravity. Took the battery inside, then after discussions, they decided not to take it. Their dishonest manager Mary watched and listened to everything at home on their security cameras and called around 10 times to manipulate her staff like puppets and say only what she told them to. Once it was determined that I wouldn't get my money they owed me, I was going to leave. The manager at home then called the police on me for illegal dumping. I was willing to take my battery back, but they had no way to load it in my truck. I even offered to come back and get it when they had a way to load it. They refused and called the police on me. Now I had to wait for a while for the police to show. They obviously sided with me. With some negotiating with Lowe's, Lowe's lifted it back in my truck so I could leave. The manager, Mary, is not an honest person and is only friendly if she thinks she is going to get your money. Once they have your money, or have to make good on their word or pay out anything.....you will get zero customer service. Stay away. It is better to pay more money somewhere else than to give any money to a store run by this manager Mary. read more

If I could leave one-star review I would. I went in right at 8am to warranty out a battery. Evelyn "helped" me & she said that because this location is a different franchise than the one I bought the battery from, she couldn't warranty it out for me. She checked my battery & said it was at 10% & if I wanted she could recharge the battery for me, but it would take a few days. She made me go to the location where I bought the battery & they told me that she would've been able to help me out no problem. I am disappointed in her lack of customer service. The location on Rainbow will be my go-to location because their customer service was excellent & worth the 20 min. drive from the Craig location. read more

I live and work near the location for this Batteries Plus on Craig Road in North Las Vegas. My first experience with them was shortly after they opened last year. I needed a new battery for my 2013 Harley Davidson and decided to check out the alternatives to the dealer price for the battery. I was very pleasantly surprised that they had a better than OEM quality Duracell Ultra battery for almost $40 less that factory replacement. Also it had a 2 year 100% replacement warranty. I have been back there many times since for all my battery and bulb needs. All of the staff there are very knowledgeable about their products. I have always been greeted pleasantly and with a smile. My work maintenance supervisor and all of my friends do all their battery and bulb shopping here. I highly recommend this professional establishment! read more

I used to go here when I had an older iphone to get the screen and battery fixed and they have always done the job right and made sure my phone was up an running the way it was supposed to. But I took my boyfriend's phone in to get fixed & they end up breaking the backlight that is used to turn in the screen of the phone. We get told that he won't have his phone until friday OR monday. It is monday and there has been no phone call letting us know when his phone will be available for pick up.
