Date of visit: November 16, 2024 I needed a new car battery and saw that Batteries Plus carries and installs them. With a location just down the street, this seemed perfect. I ordered the battery but installation didn't appear as an option. I contacted Customer Service and they replied that I need to call the store. Not helpful... I tried again and this time installation did come up as an option. After completing the order, I looked forward to getting a new battery before winter hit. Imagine my disappointment the next day when I received an email that my order was cancelled and to call the store. No explanation, no apology. Ended up finding another place to install the battery and after several days of not receiving any notification about my initial order, I stopped in today. The woman there was friendly and efficient and confirmed that both orders were canceled as they didn't have a person to install the battery on the day I wanted. She showed me the notes on the cancellation but seemed unaware that these are not actually passed on to the customer. read more

Walked in and the establishment smelled like weed.... I was the only customer in the place when I walked in. The man who assisted me was not helpful, mumbled, seemed to care less about assisting in finding out what car battery I needed. Pretty much wasted my time for 10 minutes until a much more helpful woman employee came out. He mumbled to her that he wouldn't do the battery install.... Okay rude. Once the female employee started to help it was smooth sailing, she found the battery and even helped with the install. Needless to say I'm thankful for her and her assistance but I will NOT be going back to this establishment or recommending to my friends/family. read more

Went in with my son and the manager was incredibly condescending and deliberately unhelpful I actually used it as a teachable moment for my son. He's 9 and couldn't understand why an adult would act that way, he then asked why anyone would ever shop at batteries plus, I replied that she was just one person but her actions reflected poorly on the company, despite there likely being hundreds of good and helpful employees. A reminder that your company is only as good as your worst employees. read more

Always came here to recycle batteries, and always ended up picking up something. Good draw to get me in the store. Unfortunately they now are charging to recycle any amount of batteries. Guess I won't be stopping by again. read more

We had the pleasure of visiting this store last week for a new car battery. As luck would have it, ours was not a cookie cutter install. Sean helped us out. In spite of the cars seemingly deliberate refusal to give up the old and get a new battery Sean stuck with it and got it done!! I went to BPB for a watch battery replacement for two watches- only one was able to be replaced. The employee was acting so erratically I felt a bit ill at ease. He was trying to up sell me on a few items in the store, when I declined he would get progressively angry. By the time the watch was done I was SO ready to be out of there. Would not return. Glad I didn't purchase the lifetime warranty on the battery because I won't be back. Aba Semar is also located in Glendale and changes watch batteries too. read more

This used to be a pretty good store but the customer services has become absolutely awful. Spare yourself an infuriating experience and take your business elsewhere. I wish I could give this place negative stars - one is far too many for the truly awful customer experience. read more

I came in needing my key fob battery changed and Jamel was the worker assisting me. After several failed attempts at opening the fob due to a stripped screw, Jamel used his creativity and was able to pry it open just enough to change the battery, without breaking anything. He kept apologizing for the delay, it really didn't take more than 5 minutes! No I inconvenience for me, I understood that we had a bump in the road. I would definitely go back to this location as Jamel was very professional and nice! read more

I needed a new car battery, I called the location I would be going to for the battery and install in the morning so I could be sure that the battery was available and could be installed when I arrived. The technician told me that due to my make and model it would be a tricky install but I would just have to pay an installation fee on top of the fee for the battery. When I arrived after jumping my car, they told me they could not install the battery. I questioned it because I explained the make and the model on the phone when I called the same store and was told they could fix it. Luckily, the tow truck had been able to charge my battery up enough and I was able to make it to a nearby car dealership for the installation and battery. (At a much lower cost than batteries plus) I understand with the increases in technology in cars it is necessary for some things to be done by a mechanic. However, if they knew they would not be able to install the battery as soon as I arrived, they should not have told me over the phone they could fix it. I hope they are more thorough in the future when people call with the same problem I had. read more

My car battery needed replacing, and I hardly know anything about cars. I was a little lost as to where to go for my battery, but Batteries Plus was recommended since they'll help you find the correct battery, and even install it! I walked in, and within 20 minutes, I purchased a new battery & it was installed. Jordan was super helpful in making sure that I was getting exactly what I needed and he even made suggestions on preserving my car battery (my car often ends up sitting un-used for a couple weeks at a time). I also found out that they do phone repairs, so I'll definitely be keeping them in mind for any future issues that come up. read more

Just finished having my iPhone screen replaced and the service and their people are top notch. Didn't want to send my phone away so headed there thinking it was going to be a wait of 3-4 days. They did it in 24 hrs and I picked up a new case (15 dollars cheaper than the AT&T store, same product and browsed some of their great prices on accessories that they offer much cheaper than phone stores. AND, the customer service is great! I actually commented about how nice they were while in the store. So, when I get such great service, I like to share my experience....and support the local, smaller stores. read more

Not only do they have tons of batteries and bulbs, but they are very helpful. I needed a bulb for my dome light and couldn't find it in the store. The employee looked it up and found that they were out of it. He custom ordered it for me (no expense) and I got a phone call 3 days later when it came in. read more

A broken ipad screen lead me here. They were much cheaper than Apple and had good reviews. Short turn around time as well.

I made an appointment and took my iPhone in on Wednesday to replace broken screen glass and arranged for them to call my husband's phone when it was finished, est 60-90 minutes. 2 hours later, I drove back to the store and was told they were having problems. The phone screen would not turn on. It was blank. Even broken, it turned on when I brought it in. It took a charge. They said they would keep working on it. A couple hours later, they called and the tech admitted that they did something that damaged my phone but couldn't repair it at the shop. He said he would overnight it to their repair center in Hartland, get it expedited and back by Friday. I called Friday morning and the person I spoke with couldn't find my records at first. Then he told me that it was still in Hartland for repair but would call me after he checked with them and asked if he should call me at the number for the broken phone. At 4pm, I called back again and was told that the tech who sent it to Hartland forgot to put it on expedited repair but they did today and that I might have my phone back by Monday. I am not addicted to my phone. It is a tool that I use to do business. Thanks to Batteries Plus, I have been unable to communicate with my customers for 3 business days. I would have picked up a disposable phone on Wednesday if I knew this was going to be such an ordeal. I also do not expect a phone call on Monday - or whenever they get my phone back. Update: I did not get a call on Monday. Within a week of finally getting my phone back, the screen started to sporadically darken in the upper left corner. I am going to just live with it and hope for the best. read more
