Negative stars! The manager with a thick Asian accent hung up on me. They refused to honor a lifetime warranty on a Slyde flashlight I bought. She claimed I returned it 3 times and it's customer abuse which is false. I only returned it once because the slide part of the flashlight stopped working. Also she claimed I yelled while on the phone with her which is also false, she kept trying to talk over me so she hung up. I mean lifetime warranty is lifetime warranty. Now they state that not even the rechargable battery is covered under warranty, I paid alot of money for this flashlight and it only lasted about 2 months. What a joke! I have a lifetime battery warranty on my watch. I went in for a new battery and there were two women just standing there. I handed one of them my watch and warranty card and was informed I would have to wait an hour and a half as there were two others before me. WHAT?! 90 minutes for a 30 second battery install?! I looked around and there weren't any other customers in the store at the time. I said no thank you and went to location on S Rainbow. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two guys who both reached out to take my watch. Took less than 60 seconds to have the battery replaced. They were so nice and actually apologized for the (lack of) service from the women at the other store. read more

Brought my daughter's iphone 4s in because she dropped it and the back cracked. Took it here to see if they could fix it. They called in 2 hrs saying that the they tried to charge it but they couldn't even turn it on and the assumed the logic board was messed up. When I came to get it they explained the same thing over again and the female manager said the logic board was 200 something dollars. This is an old iPhone so no warranty. I looked online and it says to hold home key and off button for 10 to 15 seconds. I did just that and it turned on. I would recommended this place for battery repair only NOT iphone repair such as glass screens. read more

I will never ever go here again. They wanted to charge me $40.00 for 2 lifetime batteries for my key fobs. I asked them is they sold batteries that didn't have the lifetime warranty. The Gentleman replied yes we have all sorts. I didn't know the battery number and asked if they could look and tell me what the number was and I would purchase them (plus i didn't have my glasses) The man said they would have to charge me to open my key fob which takes all of two seconds. I took my keys back. I have bought batteries from them for the Harley and they are not cheap. But to want to charge me to split open a key fob for my car is absurd!!! In my two experiences I'm going to give the a total score of 4. I will explain. On my first trip to batteries+bulbs I took a Nicad rechargeable battery in that I hadn't been able to find anywhere, not even on the internet. The young lady who was working knew exactly what I needed and appeared quite knowledgeable on her different batteries. Her costumer service and helpfulness was strong 8 on the 5 rating scale. On my second visit to the store she was not at work. The two males working were 3 stooges minus 1. Not only could they help us find a bulb, but they broke the one we brought in as an example. "I'm sorry, it fell off of a box I sat it on." Is what he said as he handed me the pieces. The equaled a -4. I'm sure they have employees on equal footing as the first young lady. read more

Horrible customer service just purchased a new battery (12v) and when I was trying use the battery was completely dead, so I came back to see why a "brand new battery " was not working properly and the guy there say that needs to b recharge,! And my question to everyone is : if ur paying for a new battery , u need to recharge everytime u want to use it? I would give no stars if possible but after having a 3 year warranty and only being 2 years in to it and them not standing behind the warranty is BS! Best place to get a battery! I love the customer service here! I had the worse corrosion on my car battery the store employees have ever seen! It was fun to watch them clean the battery acid off the components and hook up my new battery. I was honored to be their customer! I would recommend this store to anyone who needs a battery! The store does have a great selection of batteries for just about anything you may need. The "warranty" on the other hand, is completely useless. I took in a car battery that completely failed unexpectedly 11 months into a supposed 24 month warranty period. I was told that battery failure voids the warranty. The vehicles charging system is working just fine so there should be no reason for the battery to have failed, yet it did. I didn't have time to sit and argue with some low-level cashier on duty so I had to pony up the full replacement cost of a new battery. I bit my tongue as they filled out the warranty paperwork for the new battery they sold me. read more

We came to this location last week for a car battery check and possibly replacement. The experience was at first a little frustrating because after testing our car, they would not sell us the battery replacement. Until after it was explained by the manager why, that our alternator is only putting out 12.98V, however many new batteries we go through will end up almost dead like the one we have in the car. Turned out that our existing battery is still good after they charged and boosted it. We ended up not spending the money unnecessarily towards a battery that we didn't actually need! I generally don't write reviews but felt compelled to do so based on the horrible experience that I had. It is sad and infuriating when you go to a business that racially profiles customers. In this case, it was the manager. I went in to purchase key fob. Set appointment with store to bring my vehicle in. They confirmed that they had the fob in stock before making the appointment, and advised they would have the fob next week. The cashier asked if I wanted to pay for the fob right then and I asked if payment before having the service actually done was required to hold the fob or my appointment. Both the cashier and manager said it wasn't. I advised that I would prefer to pay when the service was completed. Fast forward, I got to the store a few minutes early for my appointment. The cashier (a different one) advised at first that she couldn't find my appointment. Mind you, the appointment time was suggested by the manager based on their availability. She then looked somewhere else and found a record of my request, but not the fob. Noone was even there to do the work based on the fact that I had an appointment. I asked where the fob was that was supposed to be put on hold for me. The original cashier who made my appointment was there and said it had been put out to be sold when his coworker knew what had happened to it. She then called the manager who said she didn't hold it (as promised), and that I would have to pay for the fob upfront for them to order it and come back once it was in stock. Needless to say I didnt move forward. It was clear that the manager had put the fob back into stock because despite the appointment being made (at a time she recommended) , she based on her biases assumed that I wasn't going to follow through. There was no apology made from anyone at the store for the error or inconvenience made. My husband and I had rearranged our entire day based on my appointment. This is a prime example of why I prefer not to pre-pay for services, especially as a first-time customer. I will never go back to this location or recommend it to anyone based on my experience. read more

It started off bad. I called with a question. The young lady told me the manager was with a customer and would call me back. No call back. I arrive at the store irritated. The manager immediately apologizes for the no call back. I finalize my battery purchase. They install the battery for free. Felt bad. It was a hot day already over 100 degrees. Come to find out the manager/battery installation tech turned out to be the owner. Again he apologized for no call back. I am still waiting to see if they reconcile my credit card. Credit card transaction still showing $18.00 core charge. I purchased online (10% off) if you purchase online and pickup. With that they charge an $18.00 core charge since the receipt I signed off on at store was minus core charge. I surrendered my old battery when I went to the store same day. I would definitely recommend Batteries Plus Bulbs. They have very competitive prices. I've purchased home alarm batteries here as well. read more

This place is amazing! I took my Iphone6 Plus for repair because the screen needed to be repaired. Love that their site is specific and asks the background color of the phone. Went there this morning and a gentleman by the name of Jeremy took a quick look and assured me the screen could be repaired. I told him I didn't have Apple Care and he wanted to verify what the cost would be. The price was exactly what they advertised online-129.95. Plus tax, of course. No hidden charges. He performed a diagnostic to check the functionality of the phone. After that, I asked how long it would take and he said"3-4 hours. We don't like to rush the repair." He then told me the phone would be ready at 4pm. I went back and 4pm and Evalyn and Mary were there and sure enough, my phone was ready. The functionality of the phone was checked again in my presence and Mary proceeded to advise me of the best type of case to get to protect my phone to avoid damage. Never once was I pressured to purchase anything. I was impressed with the high level of customer service and how they interact with customers. All three were polite, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They had batteries galore. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!!!! read more

I brought my cell phone in for a new battery. A bit expensive at almost $70. They had to order it which took a week. They never called to tell me the battery was in and when I called they had to find it. So I brought my phone in the next day expecting it to be done while I was on site. They did not tell me it would take up to 5 hours. So I had to make a 3rd trip there to pick it up and be without my phone for that long. Staff was friendly but not very informative about the process. I would give them 3 stars if they were upfront about the whole process. Price was also a consideration in the 2 star rating. read more

Trust this business at your own peril. I brought my car's key fob in to check the batteries. The woman who worked with me brought them over and performed a load test for me, showing that the batteries were "under 3 volts", then showed me the new battery she had, which measured exactly the same. I told her that I thought my batteries were still good (I am an electrical engineer), and she disagreed (they are corroded...). So, when I asked her to put my batteries back in the key fob, she installed them BACKWARDS, apparently thinking I would return to get new batteries when it failed to work.
