The staff is rude and deceiving. I wasn't greeted. I presented a watch and said I needed a price on a battery. The employee immediately changed out the battery without permission. I was then asked to pay for the battery and installation. They were very deceiving taking it upon themselves to change out a battery without permission ! I am not sure I will go back to this location, they are definitely not the most customer friendly in there. I went in and was buying 2 fob batteries to the tune of $37 & asked if they had a restroom the one guy says not for customers we closed it because of covid, he never even looked up from the computer he was looking at just said his piece when I said I would have to remember that he says well there are people working back there we have to think about them and walked away. I have been going there for years and they used to go test the batteries now they just put em on the counter, charge you for them and walk away. Luckily they both worked out fine but I think I will go elsewhere that is most customer friendly. read more

During my engagement with the staff at Batteries Plus Bulbs, at no time did they say that what I was asking could be approved by someone else with more authority than them (it's always understood, but it was not explicitly stated). I received a phone call the day after I called and left a message for the district manager from a person named Mitch. Mitch told me if I brought the battery in that they would swap it out under the warranty. Kudos for standing behind your product and your warranty. Bad ju-ju for the staff not being willing to pass it on up to a higher level of management without being asked. The best at not being able to stand behind their battery. Very disappointed in having to leave a car battery for a day to test , meanwhile if you want to use your vehicle you must purchase a battery. I went there to get the glass on my phone fixed. They said on line, it would be done in 45 minutes or less. I dropped it off and I was asked if I wanted them to replace my battery at the same time. I use my phone a lot and it always have battery left at the end of the day. For that reason I say no. They say it will be ready in 2 hours. I say well your website said 45 minutes and they say oh we just like to try and give the guy more time. Well that is not what you said online and why I picked you. I give them my phone and leave. I come back 55 minutes later and ask if my phone is done. I am told it will be another 20 minutes. They offer me a chair in the corner of the store to sit and wait. I go to my truck and tell them that they can signal to me when its done. I wait in the truck 25 minutes and then come in. As I get in they say, oh we were just going to tell you to come in. Well you should have, I mean its only been almost an hour an a half on a job that was told would take 45 minutes. And before you start saying, well maybe they were busy, I scheduled online for the time that I would be in there. I get my phone and go. TOday (one day after I go in) I take my phone off the charger and use it like I normally do and by 8:30 this AM I am at 35% power. (It was 100% at 5:45AM). I don't have the evidence to say they did something to my battery after I told them not to change it, but it sure seems suspicious to me. I don't think I would recommend them, scratch that, I know I would not recommend them. read more
