I've been coming here since I found out about the lifetime battery replacement plan!. It's just $23.99. Tax not included. I have a bunch of air tags and I just got my battery replaced under the lifetime warranty so whenever I need them replaced I just take it to a battery plus location. I give them my phone number and it pulls up my account. Once my account is verified then my replacement is free as long as I still own the air tag I put the lifetime warranty on. Easy Peasy!!.. So if you're an air tag user like I am then you might want to look into this steal of a deal... This is the way I look at it, if you use a battery it's going to need replacing, especially if you use it on a daily basis like I do. The warranty pays for itself so why not try it? read more

Thought my friend's iPhone was beyond repair, but before going to purchase a new phone I thought it was worthwhile to visit Batteries Plus. 2 young men were very courteous and knowledgeable and had my phone repaired and like new within a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. It is hard to find exceptional service these days, but my experience with this store was exceptional. Store was virtually empty, with only 1 other customer who (i assume) was being helped with a repair as i walked in. I found the battery i needed and proceeded to stand in line ignored and with no help for 10 minutes ... (i really needed this battery or else i would've left smh) The woman in the back was on the phone talking to what sounded like a friend. And the other gentleman never even attempted to help me or acknowledge me. 3 workers i counted actively in store, and i was not acknowledged or helped for entirely too long in my opinion. read more

Unfortunately either the website was misleading or the employee is trying to cheat me. Hours after scheduling the appointment for battery replacement, I received a call that indicated they would be charging for a replacement of my screen (which is in pristine condition)in addition to the battery and parts were unavailable until Monday and the screen replacement would be an additional fee. This is unacceptable false and deceptive advertisement. I cannot recommend any company that uses such bait and switch tactics. To be clear, the only reason to pay for battery replacement service is to have a qualified repair technician who would provide the service without risking screen damage. Battery replacement kits are available for as little as $12. If a consumer is going to be forced to pay for screen replacement due to unqualified technicians, they may as well do it themselves and buy the screen replacement kit. read more

I used to come here for immediate specialty battery needs. Often if I had odd-ball batteries that I needed for some toy that died, exercise battery device, and in a few instances, car batteries. This time I was hit at a full halt. It's no shocker that you can save 10% if you order online then pickup at the store. I've been doing it for awhile and it's usually 'somewhat' convenient. I say somewhat b/c I have yet to ever have an experience where I walk up, say I have to pickup an order and I'm quickly on my way. Typically, I walk up, wait a minute (I once had an associate walk away when I walked in), then I say I have an order then it's some sort of mystery as to where that item is. This time was about the same.. with a twist. I place my order. Then a little while later, I receive the "your order is ready for pickup" email. Cool, I'll just stop by after work to grab said item. After waiting around a bit, I get a "sorry the email generated to you is just something that gets sent off and the order is technically not here yet."... wait.. what? Seriously? Then the other associate tell me that it won't arrive till Friday. I am ALL about supporting local businesses. We need brick and mortar stores. However, if someone is coming to a store front, they have a need for the item they are purchasing right then and there. If I wanted to wait two days, I would've ordered online at a cheaper price. Instead of making a ruckus (I had to be somewhere), I just left and picked the battery I needed from somewhere else. If I ever come back here it'll be because it was the cheapest and I had little to no options. took a dog collar to batteries plus. they could not extract 4 phillips head screws to verify battery. purchased battery that they recommended returned home after 3hr round trip removed 4 screws that a 3 yr old could of done wrong battery These people are useless and have no clue. Unsatisfied with this company and store. Our Dyson DC35 battery would not hold a charge. Went through this 4 years ago and used this store to purchase a replacement. No issues and the battery lasted and held a great charge. The battery needs a replacement due to daily use and it was to be expected. Ordered the battery and picked it up seven days later. The new replacement would not hold a charge. I don't have a receipt but figured like other companies, that it should be in the database within the register. The store member said that without a receipt, it cannot be returned. It is the companies policy. I'm out now $110.00 dollars and have a paperweight. This is very dissatisfying and unethical. I'd give this store a negative star for the inconvenience of the experience. read more

I took my younger brother to Batteries Plus Bulbs to get his iPhone 8 Plus cracked screen replaced yesterday evening and had a good experience here. I called ahead to ask for a quote and they asked for $93.99 but a $10 off discount if we made an appointment. They had great customer service and were professional. They asked for 1 hour for service. This store is located within a plaza so there are many stores and restaurants you can visit while you wait. Only taking one star off because I made an appointment with my name over the phone but when I got there, they couldn't find my name in their system. They were still able to give me the $10 off discount which I sincerely appreciated. We also tested my brother's phone after picking it up and there were no issues with calling, opening up apps, etc. Would come back here again for phone screen replacements! read more

As a store for Batteries and Bulbs they have all the options and most of it in stock. The store is pretty clean and organized. That's the good. Getting a staff person who knows about the products they sell is hit or miss. I have visited a couple of times with mixed results on getting waited on or getting an answer but this review is based on my last experience. I needed to pick up a new battery for my wife's car. Her battery is a regular battery but located under the rear seat. As such it's also vented to the outside via a little tube contraption. When I did a search on-line they gave me a choice of two. A 24 month battery or a 36 month battery for less than the 24 month battery. I bought the 36 month battery and drove to the store to pick it up, bring it home where I could pull her rear seat and install the new one. It did not fit and not made so I could hook up the vent system. Back to the store where another employee went to the back and pulled out a 24 month battery (more expensive). He was nice enough but had really no idea why 1) The 24 month battery costs more than the 36 month battery. 2) Why both were listed for the specific car but only one would actually fit. 3) Why both batteries featured the same CCA. If I have known all this in advance I would have just gone to Pep Boys and spent less but after two trips and a unforgiving schedule looming I was stuck. I just hope the battery will last. I won't say this will be my last visit but next time I know now I have to do my own research as their web site is not always right. read more

I dropped by last week to repair my iPad that has a damaged screen. I was told they have an expert technician for these repairs. When I returned the following day the sales agents mistakenly gave me the wrong iPad. There was some confusion regarding price and taxes but they resolved it. I returned home and found that I can't use the fingerprint feature. So I must return them today. I think is somewhat high for the service received. It's a good location. I took my phone to replace the screen. Firstly they overcharge for this service. They ended up messing up something in the logistics of the phone and it was bouncing all over the place and apps were opening and closing on their own. I called and spoke with the manager and she said bring it in and it could be some faulty with the glass. Took it in and because the issue was not continuing she said there's nothing to be done and blamed it on some malware from one of the many apps. Despite there was never any issue before with the phone. Incomplete and wouldn't risk entrusting these unskilled idiots to work on a phone that cost 1k. Poor customer service read more

UPDATE: I went back to the store after going to Apple and finding out that Batteries Plus Bulbs was the only place that could fix what they'd done to my phone originally. They ended up having to change the battery all together, which I was fine with at first because it was going to eventually need it anyway. They claimed there was liquid damage to the battery when I knew for a fact I'd taken good care of my phone up until the screen cracked in the first place. They handed my phone back to me, and I was unable to use the screen (I couldn't swipe up & down, something behind the screen was blinking, and the whole phone was slow and lagging.) I gave it back and they fixed the screen problem, but the battery STILL would not charge. The highest it managed to get to was 9%. It would also restart itself, turn on at 1%, (the phone was plugged in), then I would unplug it and it would go back up to 9%, it would die, and this process repeated itself for hours. I took the phone back there today, and they said there was nothing more they could do except give it a software update, hoping that that would fix the problem. SPOILER ALERT: it didn't. It's doing the exact same thing as yesterday, only this time it'll charge to 13%, and then just die. The only upside is that I'm able to use it for a little bit longer than yesterday, but I can't get anything done and it's still very slow. (It didn't matter if I used my data or WiFi, it was still really slow.) DO NOT, do not, do not, come here to get your phone fixed. Literally this has been an issue all week and it's been insanely stressful. If I could rate this store zero stars I would do it in a heartbeat. Please, if your phone is cracked, in need of a new battery, etc, GO SOMEWHERE THAT WON'T RUIN IT. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

I had a great experience here yesterday. I came in distraught because of an incident that had just happened at tmobile to purchase a battery (See my review of Tmobile - Suffolk) The salesperson, a young African American male with glasses (sorry that I didn't get his name and he wasn't wearing a tag) greeted me immediately when I walked in and he was very patient with me as I described the problem that my phone was having and that a factory reset still didn't fix the problem. He told me that they had a duracell battery in stock that would fit my phone. He took my dead and lifeless phone from my hands and took my old battery out, put the new battery in and WA-LA! My phone was working again. He disposed of my old battery and explained the terms of the warranty (lifetime warranty) with a 14 day return policy. He instructed me to come back if I had any other problems with my phone as they repair phones to include cracked screens. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you, sir! read more
