I dropped in expecting to get a key fob replacement which was gonna cost me about 150$. It had stopped working unexpectedly. I was immediately met by Andrew and asked to help. He took my keyfob and checked it out, cleaned it and it worked! He gave it back to me and no charge! He explained it all to me and I was in / out of there in about 5 minutes! I realize he could have made 150$ selling me a new one and appreciate his customer service skills. I am in the customer service industry as well and know how hard it is to find great help like this nowadays. Total appreciate goes out to Andrew and the Sunset Batteries Plus team! I've come here for 3 key fob battery replacements and all has been quick service while you wait (about 10 minutes) and in my opinion reasonably priced as the price includes labor to install the battery. $5 for these key fobs. Today we are coming back to see what the battery warranty is as the last fob the battery lasted about 5 months but we didn't have our receipt. They checked it out and turns out the fob is broken. We also came here to replace an iPhone screen. A few hours to do that for $100. General pricing and all is good with the phone. read more

The worst repair service I have ever experienced. I took my iPhone X in to replace the broken back glass. After three trips and leaving them with my phone about 10 hours over two weeks I was left with a phone that was now useless! When I took my phone in everything worked fine, the only problem was that the glass was cracked. After they "repaired" my phone it could not find or connect to WiFi, could not charge wirelessly, could not use Face ID to unlock, it could not connect via Bluetooth, I could hear and feel that it had loose parts inside, the "up" button was barely sticking out the side of the phone, and it got very hot randomly when being used or not. After two unsuccessful attempts to fix the problems that they caused the store manager offered to replace my phone with a refurbished iPhone X. I asked that they just give me the money so that I could put it towards the purchase of a new phone since I was not interested in owning the refurbished phone that he was going to buy on amazon. The manager said that they would send me a check for $500. A few week later I received a check in the mail for $497.70. The whole experience was terrible. read more

Very good prices on quality car batteries. Super easy to schedule online and it took the person who installed it only like 10 minutes. They have a lot of time slots available for services. The employees have been very friendly and helpful. They guy even checked my old battery for me to let me know how much life it has, so I could make the decision if I needed a new one or not. My battery still had a couple years left to it apparently, but for the price, I figured why not replace it so I don't have to worry about it not starting on super cold days. It was nice to see some honesty. They also work on cell phones, which is nice to know. read more

Took my cracked phone in to get the screen replaced.. I went there with only one problem (cracked screen) and left with 4 problems (Poor lighting to phone screen, terrible display, past images of what was on my screen, and ghost touching) went in the next day to see if they could resolve the issues, It's all even worse now. I went to pick up an order I had made online at about 6:00 PM at the store on Sunset in Waukesha, WI. I walked in, heard the buzzer trigger and waited about 5 minutes. I then started asking "Is anyone here"? Nothing. I waited a few more minutes and thought maybe someone needs help in the rest room. So I walked back into the Warehouse, nothing. Another customer comes in to pick up a cell phone and it puzzled. I told her I'd been there 10 minutes and nobody has been inside the store expect me. I told her I think I'll call the cops just to make sure nobody was passed out in the Rest Room. I waited another 5 minutes and in walks the employee with a customer he'd been outside with working on a Key. The entire store was empty for 15 minutes. Does Management not think that's a problem? I ordered online and waited for the confirmation email came so I didn't have to wait. Clerk helps the woman with her cell phone right away without asking who's next, ticked me off. Then he has the finish the guy with the Key he's been working on and it literally takes another 5 minutes to finish that sale. Then he says to me "what can I do for you'? I show him my order number and tell him my last name. He says "I'll have to put that together for you. I said "No, I received an email saying that the order was ready for pick up". He says "Yeah, it's not been touched". So he gets the order together, another 5 minutes and tells me to have a nice day. Really? read more

Went in to have them fix my unresponsive phone screen two weeks ago. They put in a horrible aftermarket screen. Yesterday the "new" screen started popping out of my phone. Brought it back. They put in a new screen. By the time I got to my car, I realized the screen wasn't working. Brought it back. They "fixed" it again. It seemed ok until 3 hours later it stopped working on the left side of the screen. My volume buttons no longer work and my camera no longer works. I called the 800 number and their corporate said they might be able to give me a partial refund if they get their "product" back. She told me to bring it back so they can REMOVE THE SCREEN FROM MY PHONE so they can give me a PARTIAL REFUND. Do not go here. read more

What TERRIBLE service and HORRIBLE work!! I took my phone in to get the USB port replaced; should have been a 2-3 hour fix, BUT....... here's what happened. I dropped off my at 3pm. Since they weren't busy, they said to come back in an hour or so, so I did. When I returned, the associate showed me that "the back of my phone shattered" (I have a Galaxy with a glass back..... and, please note... IT shattered, he didn't shatter it). Since he had an extra back, he was going to work on it and said it should be done within an hour or two. About an hour later, he called to say he "needed more time" and that my SCREEN now needs replacing because some of the vinyl on the inside of the screen got scratched off (so you could see the inside of the phone), but that it was still functional... and he also told me that it would be replace "at no charge to you." No kidding, dude. When I went to pick up my phone, he THEN showed me how had SHATTERED the screen and that my phone was not functional at all. So, there I am without a phone. He thought it would take "a day, maybe two" because all of the parts had been ordered. LOOONNNGGG story, short... it is freaking DAY 12 and I do not yet have my phone!!!!!!!!!!! I have talked to the store manager, corporate customer service and some other guy from Batteries Plus -- all apologized and have said this is unusual. In fact, today, the "other guy" PROMISED my phone would be done today. It's not. I have demanded 1) a one year warranty on their parts and service (it's usually 6 months) AND I will NOT pay for the new port (yes, they are still saying I would have to) 2) give me money for a replacement phone. So far, they are agreeing to NOTHING. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED AT THIS STORE!!!!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SERVICE CELL PHONES AND THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Had my grandson's Iphone repaired months ago. Didn't give it back to him and put it in the cupboard, When I was ready to give it back it would not charge. Got lots of help cleaning out the charging port and getting it up an running again all with no additional charge. read more

Brought my iPad in for a screen repair and when I got it back it won't take or hold a charge. Of course they claim that it had nothing to do with their repair but this is no coincidence. They told me that Apple batteries are unreliable and on average last about 2 years (I've had several Apple devices last at least 5 or more). Now it doesn't even stay on and keeps resetting itself. DO NOT let these guys touch an expensive device - they really don't know what they're doing. read more
