Great experience with the team at Batteries Plus! I needed both the auxiliary battery and the main battery replaced in my Jeep. The batteries were in a very tight, difficult-to-access space, but the team was diligent, patient, and persistent--and completed the job perfectly. I was also surprised to learn that when the auxiliary battery for the stop-start system fails, it can drain the main battery as well. Before taking your vehicle to a repair shop for battery replacement, check with Batteries Plus. They didn't charge me for labor, and I saved hundreds of dollars. I had a truly appalling experience at this location. I returned with a battery that I had purchased less than six months ago--already dead--and instead of being met with basic customer service, I was spoken to in a degrading and dismissive manner by the first employee who assisted me. As if that wasn't bad enough, the manager stood in the back near the doorway the entire time, watching silently as I was disrespected in front of my daughter. Eventually, the manager did step forward--but not to help. Instead, he doubled down on the rudeness, repeating everything the first employee said with an even more condescending tone. At one point, he even told me not to bother calling the corporate office because "they wouldn't do anything either." That level of arrogance and complete disregard for accountability was absolutely unacceptable. I came in ready to not only resolve the battery issue but to purchase another for a new key. I was willing to continue doing business here despite the inconvenience--but after how I was treated, I wouldn't spend another dime with this company. As a long-time customer, I was shocked at the blatant disrespect, lack of professionalism, and refusal to take responsibility. It's clear customer loyalty means nothing here. My iphone needed a new battery and Batteries+ popped up as a place who could install a new battery within 1 hour. A few things I noticed during the 1 hour I was there: 1) They have LOTS of customers who are elderly/retired many of whom weren't tech savvy. Most of those customers were coming in to have their car key FOB battery replaced. While the employees were really kind, all of the employees sales tactics were borderline predatory...preying on the fears of the customers by selling services/warranties that really weren't needed. All of that to say, if you have an elderly parent/friend in need of tech support, give them clear instructions on what they do/don't need. 2. I walked out 90 minutes later and realized I had a few notifications on my iphone saying that the battery installed was not an authorized part...so two red notification badges remained on my iphone no matter what I did. In all of my research I failed to realize that Batteries+ is NOT an Apple authorized repair center...for this you need to go to Best Buy Geek Squad or to an Apple store (Genius Bar). At no point was any of this communicated prior to the "repair". 2a. Because the battery isn't an Apple part, the iphone's "Battery Health" feature is no longer accessible...usually not an issue until you read 2b. 2b. I'm 3 weeks and $150 into this new battery and it's losing its charger FASTER than my old 2 year old battery which leads me to believe that Batteries+ didn't use a new battery for my replacement... My recommendation for iphone repairs...make sure you use an Apple Authorized Repair vendor for your iphone repairs. #ReadReviews read more

Dont waste your time or money. sometimes people can hear me and other times they cant. Does it happen in one location. No, different places and speaker or handset. Well just write down when and where you are when it happens. It is my only phone and if i need to talk i cant. Just replace the microphon, i am not comfortable doing that. What? Poor service. I needed a battery. I did not want my money back. Wonder why the sales lady immediately told me about their No refund policy without asking me what my problem was??? It's March 2020 and we're at the beginning of the Pandemic. I searched for a new thermometer and couldn't find a store that had any. Out of desperation I went looking for a battery for my digital thermometer which was stuffed away in a junk drawer. I arrived right when they opened and the woman was pleasant and helpful. She got my battery and replaced the one in my spare key fob. You can usually tell when you have a fever, but knowing whether its 99 versus 103 in scary times like this is pretty important. They put a white screen on my on black phone because they had no black screens in stock and claimed this is what I wanted. Wrong, with this cheap fix have came a lot of problems glitches and now sprint will not let me turn in my phone. Although it has been 8 months this is not my fault. BAD BAD BAD.... I took phone in to have my battery replaced..thinking 69$ for a new battery would allow me to keep current phone...Well.. New battery was installed... But the ribbon was cut to my touch id..so my phone was ruined.. Was told at the Apple store that it was ruined.. Could not be fixed.. So I returned back to the store and encounter KEVIN..The most rude unprofessional person I have ever met.. He screamed at me and told me to come back and speak to manager.. He slammed things and acting like a total jerk.. I told him I would call corporate and he said not to... It looks to me that other people have encountered KEVIN as well.. Its to bad he continues to work there being rude and disrespectful.. I MADE A VERY BAD DECISION COMING TO THIS STORE.. Stay Away!!! My adventure took a week to complete with this store. Dropped my phone on Saturday and needed to have repaired prior to business on Monday. I visited store in Winston. I was told repair would be complete in a hour. Returned to store and associate told me that he had put 2 new screens on and he needed to put a third. No big deal. When I picked up phone I learned that when using letters would get changed randomly. I would press c key and r would type. Problem was I was out of town and had to live with this until the next Wednesday. Upon returning to store associate changed out screen and on my way I went. After a short time I learned that screen would randomly go blank. It could be while typing email or on face time. To get screen back on I would have to press home/on key multiple times o get phone to turn on. I was not able to return to store until next Saturday when I had my worst experience. I explained my experience to date to Associate Kevin. He open phone and then proceeded to tell me that my phone had a software problem. I asked him to please swap screen out but he would not do anything. He stated I should contact customer service. When I called customer services on Monday they explained that Batteries Plus has a national warranty. I am grateful for this because when I took my phone to he store in Raleigh they were very helpful. When they opened phone they found corrosion on contacts that was overlooked by Winston store associates. It would not have been a big deal except for the poor service and outright rudeness of Kevin. Kevin also tried to sabotage my experience with store in Raleigh. I will not return to this location and hope you will not also. If you get Kevin be prepared. read more

I took my Movado watch to Batteries Plus in WS to have the battery replaced. The young man waiting on me asked if my watch was a knock off after he had taken it to the back. I assured him that it was not a knock off that I had purchased it from the Movado store. When I get the watch home the stem does not turn so I can't set the time. I take it back and another gentleman fixes the stem and checks the battery. I sit in the parking lot for ten minutes and the hands don't move! I go back in the gentleman tells me to call back tomorrow when there is a manager on duty. I call back and Nasty Nelly one of the co-managers on duty tells me that they are not responsible for any watch that they break. If I had any further questions to call Customer Service and she didn't know the number for me to look it up on the website. I will never use this store again. The store manager was rude and condescending she should not be dealing with the public or have any job that requires her to interact with the people. If you have the right delivery you can tell anybody, anything without being offensive. She has put an ugly blemish on the face of Batteries Plus. read more
