I've gone to Battery Bill many times over the past 10 years or so for batteries for my power wheelchairs. I was concerned when it looked like they had been bought out by a corporation, but needed batteries so decided to check it out. The service was the same wonderful attention and care I've gotten in past years, so my worries were unfounded. I got a different set of batteries than in the past, assume they are the corporate brand, and will see how they hold up. My last batteries lasted nearly 5 years, so they have some tough shoes to fill. For me having excellent customer service - replacing my batteries and recycling the old one while I wait is so worth it to me. Spoke to someone during the week and that person told me to just bring my car in and they'll figure out what type of battery was needed. I got to the establishment today and there was a lady at the front with dark hair who told me I was supposed to pull out the battery then handed to them to see what battery I needed. She then recommend me taking my car to the dealership to get my battery changed. very unprofessional and a waste of my time since I traveled far. It felt as if she didn't want my business. Imagine how many other business she has turned away like this. Took myself to another battery company in West sac and they took care of me right away. They said it was the easiest battery to replace and everyone should have it in stock. It cost me 60 bucks. read more

They check your alternator and battery and change your battery as part of their sales strategy. Pay attention to the alternator test! Bad alternator can still charge battery but not enough to maximize battery life. read more

I purchased a battery from Battery Bill back in August of 2022. Service was great then, and cheaper than Costco, plus free installation. Fast forward to today, car won't start, I'm in a panic, hobble over to Battery Bill to see if they can check the battery. Unfortunately my battery was bad, FORTUNATELY it was still covered under warranty!! Whoop whoop! I was in and out, brand new battery and back on the road in 20 minutes. Not only are the prices reasonable (my battery was half the price I paid for my last new battery) and the customer service exceptional and quick ( I was in and out in less than 5 minutes) they also have a battery museum which I found interesting even though I wasn't there long enough to see everything. I bought a used battery on 1/22/2021. Keep in mind, they have a very generous 6-month warranty on used batteries. Well, my car was struggling to pull juice from my battery, and since I had almost 2 months left on the warranty, I drove to Battery Bill to have them check out the battery. This is exactly what happened: 1) They took my car in right away 2) They tested both the battery and the alternator 3) They replaced the battery (and saved my radio pre-set stations) 4) They transferred the balance of the warranty to the new battery I didn't ask for, nor was I expecting #4. THAT, combined with everything else (including a very fair price for new and used batteries) is why I will continue to give them my business. GREAT customer service is like a unicorn nowadays. I bought a 12 v. Battery for my prius. The service and price was fantastic...the only problem I had was with the warranty..it is a 2 year all or nothing warranty...if your battery dies after 2 years, you're out of luck. If I bought a similar battery at Toyota the warranty is pro-rated for 8 years. Yes, that means that you pay a bit more, but I feel it is good insurance. Sears did the same thing when they were in business, as I am sure other batteries come with pro-rated warranties too. My original battery got low cranking power at exactly 8 years, so the OEM battery quality was excellent. Guess it depends on how much you like gambling...me, when it comes to cars, I'd rather not gamble. read more

I needed a new battery for my car so I called this place to get a quote. I was quoted $85 so I thought it was a good price and decided to go there. The place is an old warehouse in an industrial area. It had no waiting room but they were nice enough to let us wait in one of their office which had AC. It was a very hot day so that made it waiting a little better. So why am I only giving this place 2 stars? Well, when I got there they gave me 3 choices. The original $85 quote was only for a 24 month battery. Then there was a 36 month battery for $110 and a 48 month one for $140. I ended up getting the 48 month battery but felt they lured me in with the cheap quote. Maybe it was my fault for not asking but they should have given me the 3 choices when I called for a quote. For the price I paid, I could have gotten my battery replaced at the dealership for few more dollars. And I could have waited in a clean waiting room instead of a warehouse. read more

This has been my go to place for both new and reconditioned car batteries. I probably went here like 6-7 times already for several cars. Every time I buy a used car, I make it a point to change the batteries because from my experience, the batteries are usually one of the first things to go, so I just go ahead and get reconditioned ones. The oldest reconditioned battery I got from them is going 4 years now and I am actually surprised, because they told me recon batteries usually go for 3 years then you had to replace them again. From the very first time I went there to the last time I got a battery for a Nissan Sentra, the price does not seem to go up, because it always ranges from $40-50. And to top it off, they check your batteries first, then your alternator and they install and check FOR FREE. How nice is that? For that price! The guys there are also friendly and helpful. I really have no complaints...well, maybe it's a little far from my place, but hey, I'll make the trip for my car battery needs. read more
