Boasting a clean layout centered around a prepared food and fresh sandwich counter, it provides amazing access and convenience for patrons to go through the entire store within minutes and find their choice of prepared and packaged foods. I like this place because this is conveniently located near the core industrial centre near the wtc, just below the 200 west shade. Customers from the company, for regal cinemas or the residents nearby find this place super.convenient to take a quick bite of all gourmet items. The wait isnt bad and you can find everything you need for snacking including Bread, Sandwiches, Kombuchas, Yogurts, Salads, Mac n Cheese, Fizzy drinks, Mineral water and others that I cant seem to remember. They dont sell cigarettes but do sell lighters, in case you wanna smoke after a drink at Harry's. read more

I'd like you to take a guess at how much a prepackaged, stale sandwich, chips, and a drink cost at this place. Nearly $21! If you think you're paying for the convenience here, just think again and walk over to any other bodega in New York City. It's a shame that this place can get away charging as much as they do given its proximity to me. It's one thing to pay $10 for a fresh deli sandwich. It's another to pay that for the last bites of the day that will be thrown out. I'm disappointed and I hope they reevaluate. read more

Friendly staff. Pricy and small market but it seems to fill a niche not otherwise well served over in the mall. The coffee isn't strong in a latte, but the flavor and quality seem fine. They have a few fresh baked goods, and more packaged stuff. It would be fine for tabbing a quick lunch or some snacks. There's not enough bike parking around the mall generally. read more

My review is based solely on the terrible experience I had with the bubble tea. It was legitimately so bad that I almost cried. What I asked for was almond milk green tea with half boba. What I received was green tea powder and ice mixed in a blender, with 3/4 of the cup filled with a giant clump of boba. Needless to say, it was disgusting. I have nothing good to highlight. As a fellow service industry worked in BPC, I frequent Battery Place Market often enough to know the staff on a recognizable basis. It's pretty pricey for those of us who aren't making bank at Goldman or AMEX, but I don't judge. They've got good stuff. Stumptown Iced Coffee -- I order it year round, it's THAT good. Awesome selection of fresh pressed juices? Check. A great selection of yogurt, fruit and now I see they're carrying Laughing Cow cheese, which is always great mid-shift at work. Definitely a go-to for great coffee, fresh delicious healthy snacks and excellent service. read more

I wanted to update my review because my impression of this place has gone up. I've found the barista in the morning has changed and he makes great cappuccinos. To be fair to my previous review, when I was unhappy with my drink the lady barista offered to remake it but I was always in a rush so never took advantage of this. Also I discovered that when you buy a bag of coffee beans, it includes a free filter coffee, which takes the sting out of the price tag. Also, they have started offering sandwich specials every day, starting at $6.95 price and mostly around $7.95. Now although this isn't cheap for a sandwich, it's comparable with other offerings in the area and a lot cheaper than some of their regular menu items. Plus you get a side dish included with all their sandwiches or wraps. I have figured out which specials I like and go on those days, because the sandwiches are always very fresh and are pretty large. I still try to visit 'off peak' though because in the middle of lunchtime, the chaos of the small space is still there. Overall, the service is good and I now frequent them more than I used to. read more

I frequent this place for lunch and rarely disappointed. This place has highly underrated sandwiches. My favorites are the Cuban, turkey avocado and avocado sprouts. They also have really amazing chicken meatballs that go perfectly well with the noodles. Not a bad place for coffee too. Overall, great place with really good service. The coffee and food is actually pretty good here - but I won't go back anymore because of the cashier / barista who works there. She's been so unbelievably rude to me (and I've found out to some of my coworkers). Not a clue why. She seems irritated anytime she has to make a coffee (rolling her eyes and huffing - audibly). It's actually comical - but if I'm going to spend $6 on a coffee I'd rather go to Starbucks. Sad because I'd rather give my money to a local business but won't do it anymore. This place is great. Awesome, fresh and delicious selections to choose from. Although I think Management is really trying to to take this to the next level with it's Class and Convenience it must be said that the Manager at this place is Rude, Unprofessional and could very well use a reality check when it comes to Customer Service. He was not only rude to myself and a fellow customer, I am shocked to see how he behaves toward his fellow co-workers. I am a fluent customer and have been served by almost all the employees. I can really say they treated me with the service one would come to love. But when it comes to the one person who should set the example, it is disheartening to see such a fantastic place lose business because of one persons actions. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to eat a delicious, fresh lunch but i must warn, you will not be able to interact with the manager "Mr John" as he once rudely told me. Great Place, Convenient location, Delicious and fresh foods, Awesome Customer Service from all the other Employees. After talking to owner I am editing my review. He is one of the fairest guys I've met in NYC so far. Even he didn't promise anything he took my problem close to his heart and promised to study the case. So I must say because of John the manager business mustn't be blamed. I used to LOVE this place and it was a combination of great staff, very good food, and reasonable prices. However, since opening it has gone down hill - they've gotten rid of many of their knowledgable employees (including Danny "Latte" who people loved and who made the place a great coffee bar) and replaced them with an average staff with very little knowledge, and raised the prices by over a dollar on most sandwiches. This is a place I used to feel some loyalty too, mostly bc I liked the people, but increasingly, I walk in and leave without having purchased a thing. The reality is, if the environment isn't there -- even for a market -- there is a lot in the area to choose from (including whole foods) and this isn't cutting it. read more
