I have never experienced anything like the condescending attitude and downright rude behavior of someone who is a manager of customer service. I would not recommend to anyone to purchase or service their equipment at this dealer. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer! So readers will fully understand what happened here I think it would be good they read the whole story. I called Tyler Brothers to inquire about getting an initial service done to my Z724 mower. It needed the initial oil change, blades sharpened and a general inspection to make sure everything was in working order. I was told by the service person on the phone the charge for this service would be anywhere from $200.00-$400.00 but since my mower was in for its initial service it should not be more than $200.00. So I brought it in on Sat March 30 and was told it would be ready sometime the coming week. I received a phone call from Norm on Thur April 4th to go over the charges. The initial service was priced at $295.00, not $200.00 He also explained that there might be some ethanol residue in my gas and engine. He quoted an additional $200.00 to drain the tank and purge the engine or I could simply go buy a can of Sea Foam and put it in my tank to clean out any ethanol residue. I opted for the Sea Foam and he agreed this would be a more cost effective way to go. I was a bit confused on the increase from $200.00 to $295.00 for the initial service but did not say anything at the time. Norm also told me the mower would be ready the following day Friday April 5. The call was on speaker phone and my wife clearly heard him say the next day Friday April 5. Up until this point everything was just fine and I really did not have any issues with Tyler Brothers. The increase in price was not a big deal and I agreed to pay it. So I drove all the way from West Knoxville Sat morning April 6 to pick up the mower that was supposed to be ready the previous day. The mower had now been there a week. I was told by Norm in Service the mower was not ready. The parts were ordered and received but no work was done on the mower yet. I explained to Norm that he told me it was going to be ready the day before when he called me on Thursday April 4. Norm became very combative and told me they never provide a delivery date to a customer until the service is completed. Same thing that was stated in an earlier part of this thread by Tyler Brothers. I asked how soon the mower would be ready and Norm told me they would put a priority on it and get it done Monday. I explained to Norm I was having a major surgery on Wed April 10 and would not be able to cut the grass for a month during recovery (prostrate cancer). I told Norm I really needed to get the mower no later than Monday and his response was he would do his best. I then asked why the cost for the service went from under $200.00 to $295.00. Considering the service had not been completed when promised I thought this was a fair question to ask. Again, Norm in a very combative tone told me I had authorized the $295.00 cost on the phone on April 4th. Since he did not answer my question as to why the cost increase and instead became more combative I decided to take my business elsewhere. I asked Norm to let me take my mower and leave so I could go and get it serviced elsewhere. Norm then in a very smug tone told me"OK that will be $125.00.!! I asked why and he said it was a "diagnostic fee". At this point I was pretty frustrated. I asked Norm if I could speak to the person in charge and again he smugly said "he was in charge" I walked out the service door and said to Norm "You guys suck!" Probably not the best choice of words but I really did not appreciate Norms' attitude and his mishandling of the situation. I was going to leave and then thought I should at least speak to someone else at the facility. I went into the showroom and walked up to the parts counter. A nice man asked if he could help me and I asked if the owner was there. He said the owner was not there. I then asked if we could get him on the phone. He asked if there was a problem and I said yes and pointed to the service area and I have a problem with "him" in service. The parts person then pointed me to a gentleman in the showroom who walked up to me and asked what the problem was. I explained to him my experience with Norm in Service. I did not raise my voice or make a "scene" but I am sure those around could see I was frustrated. The response out of the person in the showroom (a manager perhaps?) was to ask me if I had bought my mower from Tyler Brothers. I told him I had not and that I purchased it from Kubota of Knoxville.

I know the parts are aftermarket and probably not the same quality as true OEM. But, if you are replacing parts on a phone, why pay top dollar? At that point, it makes sense to just get a new one. I certainly don't like paying for repairs to my devices. But, if you need it, this is the place. Since the staff seem to be vested in the business, they really care. Definitely better than the mall kiosks and other repair shops. Only unusual thing is their storefront is in an office complex down a long interior hallway. I assume it's because the rent is low and they got a lot of space cheaply. But, just know that it's not your usual "retail" location storefront. Overall -- Highly recommended.

The little shop had three customers ahead of me, so I waited. When I met with the technition, I described the phone's behavior and stated that if the repair were a lost cause, I was not interested in paying a $50 fee to confirm that the phone was in fact broken. He assured me that if he could not fix it, I would not be charged. There was a cue of laptops to repair ahead of mine, so he stated that it might take a while to get to mine- first come first serve. I left the phone with him. I couple hours later i got a call that the phone was fixed. I picked up the phone, and while paying for the repair I asked how this might have been avoided. He sold me an SD card, and guided my adjustment default saving to the card instead of the phone's hard drive. While I can never be guarantees that no failures will occur, at least now I have the photos and contacts saved to SD and easily removable. I thought this was excellent service and this is where i will return in the future.

As we are forever tied together in matrimonial bliss, my Chi got tangled up in this Four Alarm Conundrum. Herein lies the rub ... the old iPhone is used via WiFi. It's technically no longer a phone. It is used merely to submit credit card & debit card transactions. So, now we have a device that is totally worthless but it has to be replaced with an iPhone 4. And no stinkin way am I payin full retail for a glorified iPod Touch. Of course the device dying and Mrs R. not being able to run charges is all my stinkin' fault! I mean, NATURALLY!! I was warmly welcomed by a nice man by the name of Ryan. I explained my situation to Ryan. He completely understood my situation and was able to help me find an affordable replacement. He was extremely knowledgeable (which is great b/c I'm tech deficient). I never felt like the idiot I am. They seem to have a wide selection of phones and smart devices. They buy, sell and trade the devices. I would encourage any & all to stop in if you need this service. As a side note, I was very impressed with something that happened when I was in the store waiting for my device to charge. A man came in wanting to sell his smart tablet. He had pulled up to the store with 2 other people in a dirty ass $300 jalopy that was on its last leg. It was quite apparent that they were all 3 hard up for cash. Ryan treated this man with the respect he was due. He was extremely polite and informed the man that his particular tablet was not in high demand (thus not worth a whole lot wholesale). He was very sympathetic to the man's situation. You could tell that the man appreciated Ryan's honesty and professionalism. Anyway, it was good to see people being treated well no matter their station in life.

NO CALL. On January 8, 2026 They said they would call with an update. NO CALL. On January 8, 2026 They said the clock maker was bringing some clock back which had been repaired. Mine was not in this delivery. On January 13,2026 They said they would call with an estimate. NO CALL (they said my voicemail was not set up). On January 22,2026 I was given an estimate of $280.00 + tax and that it would be 3 weeks. Said their clockmaker was Black Bear Clock Repair in Kodak. On February 24,2026 had to leave a message about the status of my clock. NO CALL. They said they will contact the clockmaker for a states report. Said she will call me (ya, right!). Was unaware that oiling a mantel clock took 4 1/2 months. It has now been almost 7 months since I dropped off my clock - the new management has had it for 4 1/2 months.
